    I put on 10lbs of muscle and trimmed down significantly just by doing the 20 in 20 Ignite program. The results are incredible since it's only a 20min/day program. I know you can do this with other equipment, but this machine makes it hassle free and enjoyable.

    I have had the Tonal for over a year now. Will never go back to the gym as long as I have the Tonal. It is very motivating & have done many new exercises that I would have never have tried at the gym. I am not a beginner either. I’ve been working out for 35 years & a former personal trainer. I think the Tonal is worth the price.

      Cool would be Tonal fulfilling their orders before giving them to hotels and department stores. That would be cool.

    I've had my Tonal since December and I was initially apprehensive to buy it because of the cost. But it's turned out to be the best purchase decision I've ever made. It's amazing what this machine can do. Yeah, it's expensive. But what price can you put when it comes to your health/fitness?

      Glad to hear that, and I’m so excited to have mine get delivered! How was your experience with shipping, any delays?

    • @davek5899
      @davek5899 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When I ordered mine, they told me it would be about a 10 week wait. I ended up waiting 11 weeks, so not too bad. The actual installation was a breeze and took the 2 guys only about 30 minutes to install.

      You'd be better off sending $150 on a kettlebell and a pair if dumbbells

    I got to try Tonal recently and so want one. I loved how it adjusted to what you could actually lift. Maybe if we get a bonus in the Spring.

    I was lucky to live in Dallas where you can go test it before purchasing, but it is a massive commitment for most people to make without trying first. Mine just arrived at the installer today and will be installed in about 11 days. Can’t wait to get going, I am not in near as good shape as you are lol. I ordered in March for those wondering.

    I got my tonal two weeks ago. I love it. It's a great product.. The monthly subscription is a pain in the neck, but at the same time, I love what they are offering. For Delivery, it took a long time, three months. I think their sales 💰 are incredibly high, and they are trying to keep up with it, but clearly, they are falling behind.

    I'm so tired about people complaining how expensive the tonal gym is. The reality is that all high quality home gym equipe.ent is. If you dont want to pay the cost just get cheaper stuff and when it breaks dont complain about it.

    I watched a video where the person doing the demo had black and blue bruises from where the cables went over his arms. NOT COOL! Why would you want to use digital weights over REAL weights? For me this is a complete no brainer - TEMPO!

    • @jeffbobold
      @jeffbobold 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Bob - using the Tonal isn't any different than using the cable system at the gym; if you're getting bruises from the cables, you're doing it wrong. LOL
      As to why you'd want digital weights over real weights...
      1. You already know that muscle gains are the result of time under tension, or resistance. That said, it doesn't matter whether the resistance is gravity, fiberglass rods, resistance discs (bowflex revolution), or magnets as long as you're overcoming resistance.
      2. 'Real weights' have to be loaded/unloaded, you need collars for safety, and you need room to store them.
      3. Magnetic resistance isn't affected by gravity - think about doing a curl; the weight weighs almost nothing at the bottom of the stroke, increases until your arm is 90 degrees, then decreases as your arm comes to the top of the stroke where the weight weighs nothing again (as far as your bicep is concerned). With the Tonal, the weight is constant throughout the movement.
      4. In order for the Tempo to be comparable (200lbs of weight), you'd have to order the Pro package, which is $3,495 + $40/mo. MIght as well get the Tonal
      5. Lastly, because the Tonal is magnetic resistance that can be turned on an off, and most importantly adjust on the fly, you don't need a spotter to work to failure. Can't do that with 'real weights'. :)
