Correction: Without a Tonal Subscription it looks like they changed the way you can customize your manual workouts. I guess you no longer can do dynamic weights or choose individual workouts so a subscription is pretty much mandatory for Tonal. Keep that in mind when purchasing.
I came here to mention that to you so I'm so glad you updated. Wish they offered options for tiers at different prices. Their subscription price is too expensive but that's the way things are going.
Reason why I will not purchase. Until they give options, it’s massively overpriced. You don’t pay $3K and then they strip 99% of functionality because you don’t pay membership.
*Peloton also has an App subscription that competes with Apple Fitness + so you don’t need to buy equipment to workout with Peloton instructors. What did you think about the Home Gym Tech Tour? You like the setup?
Thanks for a very informative introduction to home gym options. The Tonal content brought me to your video but the intro to Apple's offerings will have me investigating that, also... Very well produced and your onscreen presence is very professional.
Great review bro thanks. Just ordered a tonal and you went over some of my key questions about Apple Music and Apple Watch compatibility. Shipping in mid November so really excited!
I’ve seen other Tonal reviewers say that, if you remove the subscription, you can’t even select individual exercises or build a workout. You just get to choose what type of handle you’re using and how much weight you want. Did that change?
No, that's my understanding as well. I think he misspoke in the video and meant to say you can do "free lift" mode which is that you dont have to use a class and can just build your own blocks of exercises if you wanted. That still requires a subscription.
Apple Fitness just didn't have enough for me yet. I enjoyed it with my free trial but I don't have much equipment so it was tough to do some of the stuff that was on it. Once it grows and if I invest in a rowing machine and/or stationary bike then it might be worth it.
If I may - WRONG. If you don't pay the monthly fee, all workouts "go away" and it becomes a "dumb" system. You only have the option to set the weight and go. All weights are "dumb" at that point (no variable resistance.)
Thanks for the video information! I just ordered a tonal.. should be here by the end of the month :D I also have a Peloton Bike + I'll have the same set up in my bedroom!💪🦵
Sorry it took me forever to get to pricing. It’s at the very end. I feel pricing always depends on what you need out of fitness. It will always be cheaper with just the App and without dedicated equipment. That’s why I included Apple Fitness +
Using that Tonal, please do watch your form & posture, you did that very very wrong, and that's not about looking silly or anything, it's simply wrong and can end up hurting you.
Good eye. I ended up hurting my shoulder after this video. I have been using Tonal ever since and still use it daily but it’s been a tough recovery and I can still feel it.
I can see why you say that. I addressed that at the beginning of this video that you don’t have to have this much but with this type of tech now available at home the need for gym memberships aren’t as vital. What we can agree on is as the popularity goes up the price comes down so that will make it affordable to many more people in the future.
@@dannywinget Maybe this is the future of home gym if the price drops. But for now I think Apple fitness+ is the most suited to everyone due to to its lower price if you want to train at home during this pandemic

Danny have you tested samsung health with your Samsung TV?
Good stuff man, that home gym is legit

Thank you appreciate that!
There's a reason why you have 500k Subs. Awesome review. Awesome Tech
Thank you! Appreciate that.

Get it Danny! Looking fit
🙏🏻
Great video. Who makes your ceiling fan?
I have seen the peloton commercials and the people on the screen seem very nice on coaching
Wow that’s a cool hole gym, been thinking about a peloton for a while now
Please make a full house tour....
at 3400.00 for the Tonal and 600.00 a year to have the services, or 63.00 a month and 50.00 a month for the service for 4 years
Looking leaned out brother. Great vid.
My Apple Watch notifying me getting my rings closed
My Samsung watch: get your lazy butt do a stretch 😭
Literally happens everyday 🤣
With the free workout on Tonal I think you still need to initially pay a contract of 1 year. So maybe it’s free after the year…
bought to get a tonal......do you get commission? lol
Yo! I sent you a DM on Twitter. I think you get $100 off and I get some merchandise.
💪💪💪
I need about 10 years to catch up to you fam! Haha

Yup I agree. It will grow but it needs time. Great for the occasional workout.

You are correct. I made a pinned comment to reflect that change.
Could you put links in the description to the machines that you did overviews on?
Says 'i picked this Samsung tv because it was affordable..' while standing next to a $3k+ peloton and a $4k+ tonal ..
I've debated a lot over Tonal vs Tempo. Another good home workout system instead then Apple Fitness is Beachbody.
Yeah I do need to try Tempo
Awesome review. Thanks
Dude is really measuring! 🏃🏻♂ #lostindata
Wow! Nice setup!
Appreciate it!
We Don’t have tonal in the uk… but we have recently got VAHA. Any thoughts on that?
You should get the Xiaomi yesoul S3 spin bike :3
nice.good for you
what about peloton strength classes
how much do i need to spend to build such a gym ?
$9k give or take
Still prefer YT home workout videos
That's best
I don't use any other gadget just follow TH-cam videos and I gained 4 pack abs within 3months
woah this comparison review probably had you sweatin lol
Nice video
Theres a subscription..? That’s disappointing to hear. A home gym with a gym fee? Deal breaker for me, even with the “free gym.”
Sup Mister Winget and everyone
Thanks for the video information! I just ordered a tonal.. should be here by the end of the month :D I also have a Peloton Bike + I'll have the same set up in my bedroom!💪🦵
you can use it with out the service but loose all the data functions
How much weight should I use for a home gym?
Can you build muscle at home?
Where did you get the fan?
you didn't show the rattling arms
Have you tried the Tempo?
I have not. I need to look into it.
Can we pair Fitbit Sense with Tonal?
Unfortunately not at this time. It might come in the future who knows
Why aren’t you comparing actual pricing?

Home gym /work out for rich Man... Not recomendd to poor Man.
I think this is a little bit too much
