I watched this video last night. Great idea, I bet there is fixing to a lot of tractors with golf cart covers out there. I think I'll give that a try. Thanks for sharing
I see the trees moving behind you. Well done, you can get work done inside there that otherwise would of forced you back into the house. I remember those cold winters in Ohio with that ice cold wind coming off Erie. Wind chills were killer.
i built mine with 1 inch aluminum square tubing and 10 mil plastic its awesome no folding in the plastic like yours same plastic for boat windows and no issues
Would be easy to put a tarp over the hood of your tractor and bring the sides back and hook to your cab. Bring down onto the sides of the tractor and let the motor heat blow back in the cab. Would be a game changer when out in the cold. Stay Safe
I’m thinking about getting a fork lift enclosure less fabric on it so more visibility. May fit better too because it won’t have so much material that’s supposed to cover the golf bags.

Sam, just some sound advice.... put your throttle down and idle it for a few seconds before shutting off your tractor. Diesels like to be at idle for a few seconds before you shut them off.
God forbid you melt anything, yet have you considered using a heat gun for the front windshield and the rest of the windows? Actually maybe it doesn't even make a difference, yet at the price you paid, hell, you could replace it every year over the next 20 years and still be ahead of the game... Merry Christmas..!!
I initially used a hairdryer to get the big wrinkles out and I can see well enough I'm in the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" phase, lol. Merry Christmas!!!

New Subscriber here and already like your Channel and your idea. I do have a small reminder to suggest to you. The manufacturer probably states that the plastic material is UV resistant or even UV protective and let me say that might be true but it will not last. The Sun will eventually break down this plastic and it will basically fall apart around you but only if you leave it outside even in the winter. I worked 3 summers at a local golf course and the owner had this problem all the time with the covers and they cost a lot more then $48.00. It looks like you have a good old barn to store it in out of that nasty but wonderful Sun.

Hi Sam, thanks for the link. I guess Amazon has updated their product, because the the base on the mirror has changed and there are NO magnets on it ( unless you put those on yourself ) ? hmm maybe that's what you did.... ( ? )
It's worth it. Use a cover with the most amount of plastic you can find. 1" PVC will work too and it will be slightly more rigid. I'm brainstorming about framing out the rear window but I haven't come up with anything yet. Good luck!!! 👍

I priced a Curtis cab for my l3301 it was $6,300 if I installed it myself... Needless to say traded that tractor in got a LX 2610 with a factory cab 😁
