Need to change break pad wearing sensor in order to be able to reset if after installing new pads does not allow resetting. I just made this for F11 after got "unsuccessful" info on display during resetting.
Could I ask you for a video for the 2009 128i. or even some instructions by email or something.

i have a 2005 bmw 545i and i had like 2900 miles left for the front brake pads and like 3000 miles for the rear brake pads so i went to reset it to give it more time and i reset both and instead of being better from what they really are they went to -15000 for the front and the rear -9000 so what should i do

Hello for information, I have subscriped. It was really helpfull for me and my friends. I have one question, my BMW E60 2007 has keyless GO, but it works stragely. I must put da Remote controler on specific space for it and after that there is a START/STOP button and I must press on it. is it possible tu start engine with only the pressing button (without inserting remote controller on that hole)

i have problems with my 2008 headlight been out. i change the light still not working i did some research some most say that the model control (ballast) need to be change but so far i couldn't find the location for that i took my head light out still no luck. would you have any idea where i can find that in the car thanks.

It worked for my '09 X5. Replaced pads and after reset procedure it is now showing 31,000 mls.
That worked really well. The dealer wanted $75 to reset it. What a ripoff.

I followed you instruction to reset brake pad light but it didn't work. I pressed the reset button till it showed mls---------- and it went back to mls -150000 again. I did retry many times but the result is still the same. Could it be from the brake sensor that needs to be changed?

Cant get this to work for my back brakes. everytime I try to do the reset, next to milege/KM there is only a dotted line and nothing changes. Any idea how to fix this?
@rob hi fellow rob, I replaced the pads and sensor, after this was able to do a reset to another 60000 km
What does it mean when the miles are negative. Does it mean you went pass when it was due and now you have drove let's say -3000 miles after it was due?
bmw is the most difficult car I've ever owned...Little things like changing headlight blub fuse box location etc is all a hassle nothing is simple to do..

@khadafi816 @khadafi816 it works for an 07.... i did it on my friends 08 put it in the position before you start the car....basically turn the key over until without your foot on the brake...Make sure all doors are closed also

I did the resett however instead of showing some numbers is now showing this ---------------. Please help.
i tried it for my brake light its on -15000 so it resets but it goes on ---- after 2 sec it comes back to -15000 again . can any1 help me ?

If you have done all the service, but the light still on. Do the reset process on dashboard like in this video. or search "e90 reset" on youtube.
