If you are looking for a nice turbo timer there is one included in the remote start kit I purchased. It is almost a full plug and play kit and it has been worth every penny. The base kit is about 150 and for the higher end kit I think it's 250. I have the base kit. It is called mpc (my push cart) look into it. You won't be dissapointed.
Changing the tire size DOES NOT change the dash speedo, it only changes the MPH on the Edge Insight device. Youd select the C-MPH PID & itll read the correct MPG on the monitor device ONLY.

anytime something is tight i do what you do pull out the torch haha and then when it starts moving i turn it back and forth so it kinda cleans itself as its turning makes your chances of it not breaking alot better when you turn it in and out just a little at a time so good video man ive watched it before but being sorta stuck inside cause the wife and i's business had to be closed im bored so i figured id go back through and bing watch all the older vids hahaha but love the content man

Well I have some bad news. I ordered the CTS2 Monitor/EGT Probe installed it, LOVED IT. Someone stole my truck and took it.... so sad! You have helped me install a lot of stuff, I love your videos Truck Master keep up the good work. I hope to get another CTS 2 again.

Lol I saw that box and was like downpipe lol I installed that on my lbz as well along with the 5 inch mbrp dp back exhaust kinda a pain to get in right without touching crossmembers and stuff but well worth it I love the sound of it.
Aniti seize is always a good idea I put plenty of it on mine.

Awesome you should open a shop God given you the Gift of speech. Uses. This is the 70 year old Guy and everything you install I buy. I m getting ready to install a turbo on my 2007 early classic LBZ. Need some advice got my down pipe y bridge is coming the egr delet blew out and craked the uppipe. Installing full flow exhaust manifolds and full flow ups gott the doyen pipe On board I D Rob. Let me know on the turbo guys.

Finally after hours of videos just to find out if the cts2 will change the tire size. Next question is. Will it do day light running headlights? Or keep my stereo on after i shut the key off
Do you have in any insight on the newer CTS3 Insight?? I'm in the market for some type of gauges that are plug n play like they Edge products. I've read so many bad reviews on the CTS3... I don't know enough to make a decision... I am a mild Enthusiast when it comes to my LBZ.... Weekend towing to RV resorts.... Any insight would help.... Love your videos!!
Dude, I had to look away when you were rotating that connector. Good way to turn it into junk. Line up the keyways
i have bullydog and its nice for a tuner and information screen but there is so many bigger and better optioned ones out there i wish i woulda waited like two or three years before buying but at the time .. which was a long time ago bullydog was the better one to get out of what was around before the whole diesel tuners blew up like they did.. im happy just cant load other tunes onto my bullydogs they are the older models... :(

So would the CTS2 completely replace my edge juice with attitude wiring harness, since it connects straight to the OBDll port?
I have efi live on the cts monitor and when I hit the gas my egts shoot way up and the monitor beeps at me? Do I have a bad probe or is something else going on?

Did you push the grommet into the cab from the engine bay? Did you reseal it after?
What I it that you have to do when you take that dpf off. Just go on diagnostics and clear codes? Willthe engine light reappear if it doesn't read dpf sensors? I'm about to delete it on my 08 lmm and saw the exact cts and wondering
What did you do to block the holes for the pvc on the valve covers
So I have had my 03 3500 as far as I know I don't have any bully dog or performance probes on this truck. I would like to install this Edge CTS2. Not sure how to go about with adding the probe. Can you help and point me into the right direction? Thanks

hey truckmaster my truck is in the shop getting all 8 injectors and a cts 2 monitor. my current gauge cluster seems to be going out will the cts 2 be able to show me the fuel gauge and not just fuel pressure? its an 04 lb7

have you ran into any problems with the unit? I have been doing research and seems 50 percent like it 50 percent hate it.
Best to install analog RGT and boost gauge.

I Have a lly with efi live and egr delete. Is there any reason for me to install the egt sensor? It's a daily driver with light towing. I don't race or sled pull with it. Is the egt that important to monitor?

What do you think about the H&S mini max? I’ve heard from people that love it, as well as others that hate it. I would like to have the monster and tuner all in one. That also supports the egr and dpf deletes. Thanks for the wealth of knowledge!

Hey Truck Master....I really want to buy this Monitor for the Injector balance rates, but was told a few days ago that these devices have removed them due to lawsuits recently...didn't know if that is true or not, so please let me know what the word is when u get a chance because my purchase depends strongly in that feature...thanks

Yes but only if you pay to have them loaded in the Monitor
i have the regular edge cts on my lbz, do you know if i have to add a sensor to be able to monitor fuel rail pressure? it doesnt show up in my available pid's, but edge videos show it in their menu. i thought the lbz fuel rail pressure was logged into the computer, or am i wrong?

jhurley12 fuel rail pressure is definitely a pid. heck I'm monitoring it with just the torque pro android app.
What's the fuel rail pressure supposed to run I got 4.4 at idle
so with this edge cts2 you cant simply turnoff / delete egr ? this pretty much works along side another tuning program?
+Dan k correct the only way to delete the Egr code is when you have efi live installed, finger stick or a H&S tuner. The cts is only monitoring parameters

What's that deep sound mainly on 08 or 09 duramaxes or powerstroke when you let off the gas it has that deep sound that sounds like it is sucking in air it's a big woosh
+dope_and_sexy_diesels that's the turbo backing of and most downpipes have a restrictive pinch in the pipe that makes the woosh noise

Robert Newman EGT stands for exhaust gas temperature it is a way to monitor your temp so you don’t fry your turbo or piston rings from too much heat

so you can download a tune off the internet and it will run thru the edge? so you dont need to have efi live?
Youd have to get the Edge Juice module to be able you add tunes to the insight monitor device. But for the price youd be better off just buying a Edge tuner that comes with the tunes built in. Or If you already have EFI Live on a LB7 or LLY you can change tunes on the fly with the Insight monitor.
Yes on the fusion site where you update the cts2 you can just buy the tunes and download them on to your insight I think there like $200 for the tunes best time to buy is around Christmas they go on sale. But you need efi live if your doing any deleting.
You cant torch a tc probe it frys them just fyi be careful

+Alex mazhan the monitor only monitors your trucks parameters so yes you can have a programmer with the cts2. I have a dsp5 switch with EFI Live and the monitor works great. Thanks for watching my videos take care man

Is there a reason why you picked the edge tuner from the Efi live?
late reply, but not a tuner, this is just a monitor. EFI live tunes like ppei by kory willis for example can be loaded into the truck, then when you plug your insight back in you can go into settings and find the efi live setting, and you select "on" and your #1 through however many tunes will be saved into the insight where you can switch between them as a DSP5 switch would.

@@daedricpinknblack yessir exactly. I have a durmax with ppei tunes and sadly it doesn't work for me because I have an 06, but 01-05's allows you to use the edge instead of the dsp5

Mississippi Mud Team Not the insight, from what I understand the insight is just a monitoring device but the cts2 Evolution is the tuner with tunes from the box and if you wanted the max hp and tq the cts2 juice with attitude is your way to go
