Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the Edge and the other monitor just display what the ecm says?? They both should read the same.

dewalt1988 buy one or use a friends. Or perhaps you could pay the $100 diagnostic fee and a repair shop and they can check them for you. I’d just buy the Edge display.

Love my CTS2 with EFILive. Sure it reads from the OBDII port but you can run independent sensors too. I monitor 12 PIDs and wish I could monitor 12 more!
Get the stove running!!! A thought on the decals, make one for each, Duramax , Cummins, Powerstroke Life and maybe offer a couple different colors. Anyway keep up the good videos.
get a 'Y' lead for your OBD port. I use two Autel units reading different paramaters at the same time plugged into a y lead and they both read fine....

You said the edge was more accurate. Based on what? You would need a 3rd device to see which one isn't accurate. Also, can you reprogram ECU with either one if you replace injector? Thx.

His flux capacitor is not tuned correctly I'm sure egts are the least of his worries...

Sincere question here: If a CTS2, CTS3, ArtiDiag, Launch, or any other device is just pulling live data via the OBD2 port, why would there be any reason to suspect an inaccuracy? Aren't these monitors just acting as a simple display when using them to view live or captured data?

More fuel is better than no fuel! -any duramax owner.
Checking balance rates you should take into account where your at sea level it can trick you into thinking your balance rates are spot on but in reality there borderline or bad. I learned this when my truck started hazing. I checked my balance rates which showed perfect so I was stumped, until I brought it in the guy showed me how to do the math. There is a perfect breakdown on how to do the math on balance rates and sea level dieselplace.com search proper way to check balance rates.
Have you done the trans go Jr shift kit yet?
You should do that and traction bars.
Josh do you use fuel additive and if so what brand? I use additive on every fuel up and it's kept my 65% overs super healthy for the past 70,000 miles since I replaced em. highly recommend since your in a cold climate.

Hey this is off topic, but how long should you plug in your truck? Is it the same for all trucks? I live in Maine and it gets cold as shit here in winter lol still kinda new to the whole plugging in thing. Any help is appreciated! I know some gassers have engine block heaters as well, those in Canada do. Any help?
You can keep them plugged in as long as you want most guys keep them hooked up all winter

I am very disappointed with the CTS2. I owned for a little over 4 years and the touch screen does not work properly. Touch the screen it beeps but nothing happens. I changed functions very little, un-reliable device for the cost of it. When it did work the display and functionality was great….
My edge cts2 shows engine coolant temp at 78 on a cold start. Wierd it was 15 degrees last night. Hmmm
With Google on it will it also let you add a tune with it?

I have a ArtDiag100 and it works great however sometimes it will read the car and won't give me codes or any information. For example it will say vin number xxx 2010 Honda Accord and then it will sit there saying reading codes 10 min later it still says trying to read codes. Has anyone else ran across this problem with the artidiag100? Yes I have unplugged the scanner and tried again with the same result. I cannot find a bad fuse. However I hook a cheap $20 scanner to the car or truck and it just says code whatever p300 etc. Anyone else have this issue with the scanner?
