- It's been a good time with Ditto the clipboard manager. It's simple, gets the job done, and is super light on system resources (it only uses about 30mb of RAM and no CPU). Clipboard managers can be a game-changer for day to day computer use. Including if you ever need to go back and pick up something you copied a day ago.

How do I disable ditto from copying everything with ctrl + c and so that only when assigned ctrl + alt + c copies to ditto?
Actually Window's built-in clipboard is that 1% efficiency boost, Ditto is like 10x!
Though i copied a sentence with italics etc, theres no way to paste it back with that font or italics as was copied. ???? any ideas ?

Thanks so much man! I was looking for a video on how to do it for some data entry I have to do. It's for my job. I have to log all training hours in 2 places and have to add them one at a time through the world's slowest web interface. I've been logging them on Toggl for about 6 months so most of the year. Now have to enter them one by one and finally I can have both date and entry title in the same clipboard, as it's mainly a copy-paste job... thank you thank you thank you! You may have saved me from RSI.
Also appreciate the security tip. Would not have thought of that. It's worth noting that any application can access your clipboard, and this is by design. But it's definitely a good idea not to write it to the drive unencrypted. Again, brilliant video and really appreciate the tutorial on the program.

Great note on the security I did not know all applications have access to the clipboard until now.

Maybe you can try Ctrl + A and then Enter...

When I installed it I allowed the firewall exception. How do I get rid of that firewall exception? Thank you.
Here are the steps assuming you have a Windows 10 system:
1. Hit the windows button
2. type in control panel
3. hit enter (on the keyboard)
4. Click on System and Security in the control panel window that popped up
5. Windows firewall should be the second line item here under Security and Maintenance, Click on "Allow an app through Windows Firewall
6. from here you should see a big list of applications, Ditto is in here. Make sure it is unchecked and you are good to go! It is now not allowed to go through the firewall.

there is already similar thing in windows just click windows hey + v instead of control + v
