Best comparison review and breakdown I have herd. Thank you so much! Awesome job for no script!!! I'm a previous corner horn owner from early 80s. If you really want to hear the base tighten up and feel you pant legs move back and forth, place them in some brick wall corners. What a difference a solid corner makes. They had built some wooden sand filled corners for them in the show room in Seattle, but the brick wall was even better.

This is probably the most accurate and comprehensive explanation of the heritage line that I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. Thanks for taking the time to put this content out Cory.

I love my Cornwall IV's that I purchased from you guys. Paired with the Parasound JC5 & P6, it's all I'll ever need. Thanks also for the great customer support!!!

Completely agree on the comments regarding bass with the Forte. Absolutely correct keeping them closer to the walls, not away.

Nice presentation. I read a number of the first comments, mostly about the FORTE' 4's, I have these. In my treated 18x24' space has only one sofa at the listening post 19 feet from the speakers! The BASS response is DIMMINISHED pushed up to the front walls which is suggested in the Klipsch manual. Mine are nearly 4' from the wall and the low end response is MUCH DEEPER! Readings from a DB meter and single test tones quickly proved that out instantly !!
For power, I am using a Willsenton R8 tube amp fitted with all JJ. Electronics tubes including EL-34 for outputs. Just wanted to chime in.

I have a pair of Forte IVs paired with a PrimaLuna EVO 400; they are located well inside the room (4 feet away from the wall) and the bass response is brutal.

I run my Heresy II's with a tube amp and use a Schitt Loki to bring up the bass and lower midrange. It makes a huge difference! Heritage Klipsch has wonderful synergy with tube amps.

You must have had a budget amp. A quality tube amp like my Ampsandsound Mogwai is dead silent and far more lifelike sounding than a thin sounding solid state.

One other interesting fact.... The Forte's 12" woofer is BESPOKE to that speaker. It has an extended cone travel to work with the passive radiator. I wrote Roy D. and asked about that woofer, and what is used in the Jubilee, and he said they are very similar, but the two 12's in the flagship have even MORE cone travel. There you have it.

I have a pair of MkII Fortes and I have to agree, they sound a lot better closer to the rear wall.

What feet are being used so you can slide them safely on the wood floor?

So, when is Klipsch going to design a horn loaded (or better yet a rotary) subwoofer that can keep up with the heritage line?
It may not seem relevant to you, but I have a major eq curve going on right now just to hear you. We're talking -15 on the lows and +15 on the highs. It's really simple to glance at your audio before publishing, and considering that you're audio guys . . . Just trying to help, so don't yell at me!
