Hi , i just bought a Advance Paris A 12 Classic , is it possible to connect a equalizer to it ? If so , how ? Thank you for your time

Everything on my powered sub is OK,but when connected to my AVR the output is only drrrrrr sound. All other speakers are giving out sound but the sub is just drrrrr. Can you help me with this?

Hi Guys. Question? These La Scala speakers/cabinets are known for having a serious shortage of low frequencies, even though they have a 15" woofer in a folded horn cabinet. Wouldn't opening up the "outlet hole" in the cabinet for the 15" woofer increase the lower end bass response? Why is this a rectangular hole and why isn't it round? With that rectangular hole, they could have used a 6x9" speaker. The rest of the 15" is wasted there in that design. A 15" driver/woofer should provide plenty of bass. Why am I the only person to ask these questions? I don't understand that particular engineering, intentionally blocking over one half of the large round speaker. Otherwise, I love that speaker.

Very helpful! Did not know how to adjust the loudness. My understanding is their is 3 settings. Still not sure how to do a upgrade to software if I had to.

dude you need to get an ifixit kit, or just buy a set of plastic spudgers you would probably need 2 or 3 to get the necessary pressure because they are plastic if you riff on them too much they will break, but that's kinda the point that you wont damage what your working on that's metal you will damage a 50 cent spudger. As long as you can get the first one in and in a spudger set the should be one for getting in in the first place which is the thinnest one which will allow you to get in the thicker ones either side pull out the thin one then work the thick ones outward and that will put it right out, also has the benefit of distributing the pressure in 2 points rather than 1 so even if your working with plastic pressure fit parts it really shouldn't damage it, they are also made of pretty flexible plastic which gives you some feed back that your going to hard and it's going to be harder to damage anything because it's a flexible plastic.

Any ideea why my sub cuts out after 3-4 min. When on a blutooth dongle the whole house shaking but when through the amp doesn t seem to be as strong and after a few min it cuts off?!? Has a auto and off button so does it only turn on when loud volume or faulty?

The two big heatsinks are for the heat dissipation of each channel's, output transistors. They're mounted on each of them while also using thermal paste. You can briefly see a pair of them at 14:06 and 4 of them at 15:15.

I have B52 Matrix 1000V2, and one time subwoofer is not functioning at all but the two speaker are functioning well. I ddnt abuse it once, all volume are mid levels and I check always that It will not get hot (btw the fan still functioning well) and I even use a electric fan just in case. I use it the same way when it needed in the event, carefully. What is the problem about it ?

I know this video is 2 years old now, but got a question.... I own a pair of heresy iv speakers with a svs sb-3000 sub for two channel listening.... How much better would be the RF7 III be over the heresy iv's?? Are the highs and mids in the rf7iii as clean and clear like the heresy iv's?? Thanks!

I received my Advance Paris A10 last week. My current setup is Magnepan LRS+, REL Tzero MkIII sub, The music source is a Cambridge Audio Azure 851N which I play FLAC files from an SSD, Rotel CD-11 Tribute CD player. I also have a pair of Emotiva Airmotiv T2+ on channel B. The LRS+ are less efficient and are at least about -10 db compared to the Emotiva's. With that being said, Prior to the Advance Paris A10 I was running an Outlaw Audio RR2160 MkII. I purchased the A10 because the Outlaw seemed to be under powered with LRS+ which are a bit inefficient. The Outlaw and the A10 are about the same wattage wise but I have to say that I was disappointed with the A10's ability to push those LRS+. However, I think the A10 is a better sounding amp. The mids and highs are somewhat pronounced which I like; it's a very addictive sound. However, the bass seems to lack presence and muscle with the LRS+. Running the Emotiva's the A10 pushes them very nicely; also I'm not using the REL subwoofer with the Emotivas. I definitely have to use a subwoofer with the LRS+ and A10. I'm not a "bass head"; in other words I really don't care for room shaking bass. Particularly with the kind of music I predominantly listen to, mostly jazz piano trios, straight jazz with acoustic instruments, upright bass, etc. Additionally with the A10, mellow jazz guitar on some tracks sound a little recessed and distorted more than I've heard on other amplifiers. In both cases whether using the A10 or the Outlaw it seems that I have to turn the volume up quite a bit to get around 80db of sound. I have a 35 year old Carver receiver with a little less wattage than the A10 and the Outlaw that I barely have to turn the volume up that much to get the same volume out, it doesn't sound quite as nice but volume wise it beat the other two. Also the sound-stage with the A10 seems decreased and not as wide compared to the Outlaw RR2160 MkII. The other option I considered was the Rotel 1572 or 1592 MkII which is about the same price. I returned it this morning. It's really difficult trying to make a decision when we don't have retail stores to check the sound out before purchases.

Amazing comparison guys! Both the heresys' and the fortes' sound awesome! After i watched this comparison i bought myself a pair of heresys' for my listening room. With the huge price difference between the heresys' and the fortes's, i considered doing a comparison with my buddy who currently owns two cornwalls'. We then brang the heresys' over to his house to compare them with the cornwalls'. Surprisingly the heresys' did ok up against the cornwalls'. The cornwalls' overdone the heresys' with everything obviously, but considering the price difference the heresys' definitely are a gamble for the money!
