About Me:
I'm a 3D blender artist whos been doing blender for more than 5 years, I'm trying to teach you sculpting and creating better characters.
#Blender #sculpting #learnblender
the best kind of tutorial is when the tools are being explained how to use, not immediately saying "lets learn by making this donut"
Yeah man, that's exactly how i was feeling which is why i wanted to just learn the tools, and then go play around myself. There is value in those other tutorials, but not what i wanted right now.
Thank you! This was very helpful. I like that you got straight to the point and just did a brief overview of each brush. I will likely have to research more to actually know what I am doing with the brushes, but it is nice to have a general idea of what they all do without having to watch a super long video. Thanks! 😊
Thanks man. Glad you didn't over explain any of the brushes.
I appreciate that you spent your time making this video, but it isn't as informative as people might expect, you have the word "explained" in your title in all upper case, but most "explanations" were like "it kinda does this, it is this much useful, cool", all this information is exactly what everyone can discover on their own by just trying all brushes on test objects in Blender.
My suggestion is to change the title to "overview" of brushes, so people know what to expect from the video.
I think this is an awesome time saver overview video, helping people to filter out the tools they don't need and focus on ones they're more interested in, without spending time testing each one out on their own.
This is not a hate comment, and it is not meant to bring you down or disvalue your work, it is my subjective feedback as a consumer of your product and I think it might help people who seek exactly this kind of video
love this!
thank you
I'm sorry, but you didn't provide any examples or use-cases for when any of these brushes would be useful or preferred. Just a very terse, brief and surface level exposition.
imo it would be helpful if you would also include what kind of features those brushes are best for. in my personal experience the thing that makes the clay strips brush such a go to for people is that it's very good at building up musculature, which is something you're doing with head sculpts a lot
oh thxs..u save my life
This was so helpful -- thank you!
Great tutorial 🤌🏼❤️
Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much! for this tutorial!, greetings!!!
Hi. I see in 02:21 you press SHIFT + R in sculpt mode for the subdivision grid. Is that an add-on?
nope, thats a default blender function in sculpt mode. Its to change the size of the remesh. then ctrl r to apply it
@@PotterSculpts my blender is broke, it doesn't works for me hahaha
@@artuvagu214 I bet it's not broke. I bet you have modifiers on your model, which is why it won't appear.
Hi can you help me? I want use mask brush but is square I need circle 😢 how can I change this?
Thank you for video
THANKS
thanks a lot!
how do you do the shift r thing? addon?
Would have been better for me if you showed on a surface what happens to the other side. I tried to remove some embossed letters without deforming the outside of the model for instance.
How do you get the Shift+R thing?
I need more explanation on simplify as what you said wasn't clear
Also you didn't explain color filter and last 2 brushes properly
nice
out word
I can only grab puttered
well this clearly shows that many of the brushes are useless or situational. btw great tutorial
no it doesnt clearly show that they are useless . maybe for him, but not to most people
I don’t get how to grab IN WORD like for a mouth
Aaa kinda likeaaa cool brushh kinda of .... Waste of time
What the hell happened at 6:25? What model are you using? 👎
