Motul is mostly just publicity these days. Some dude from India tested a 300v against Castrol's Power 1 and sent the used oil to the lab to test for sheared metal. Turns out the Power 1 was better.
So 7100 had 0.223 and the 300V oil only had 0.091mm? It would be helfpul for American and Canadian audience to also include the format in stupid inches. LIke this: 0.091" or 0.223" Thanks so much!
Hi, can you test palm oil (Cooking Oil) as engine oil? Because in my country, Indonesia, there is a very trend of using palm oil as a mixture of engine oil which is said to clean the engine from dirt and make the engine room very clean. They use it as a 10%-30% mixture with engine oil, but some even experiment with using 100% palm oil for engine oil! But I don't know how the ability of palm oil to prevent friction. At first, I thought this was a Hoax. However, in my country, Indonesia, there are a lot of people who use a mixture of palm oil and engine oil, even 100% palm oil, and there are also many who do tests to open the engine compartment and prove the result that the engine room is really clean like new because the dirt has completely disappeared! Can you do a test on Palm Oil's ability to prevent friction? For boiling point resistance, Palm Oil is very high, and is not easily oxidized, many have made comparisons by heating Palm Cooking Oil with Machine Oil, and Palm Oil is superior because it can withstand heat with a high boiling point, does not blacken at all, and not crusty, all tested side by side between palm oil and engine oils. What has never been tested is the friction that palm oil can prevent. Please do experiment with palm oil (Cooking Oil). I beg you. 🙏🙏🙏

Yes you're right. 70% Palm Oil!

Can you test the Mannol 7812 10w40 motorbike oil. Which one is better: Motul 7100 ore Mannol 7812?
I saw this on tik tok, Motul 7100 withstood 7 weights, Mannol 7812 withstood 9 weights. The test was performed on a similar machine. Mannol is better

Why did you overheat the oil? you can leave and repeat the test. this test is not authoritative.
Because engines work in "heat" ? no sense test it with ambient temp...
@JorgR47 he tested other oils at lower heating temperatures
