Being ex military, I've lived in many places around Oz. I notice your from Brisbane, I lived there for 7 years, loved it but its too busy now with tunnels and tolls everywhere. Now retired and living back in this wonderful Newcastle area. Btw, great video.
What a lovely video. Thank you for showing some of Newcastle's best features. Lived here most of my life, Newy is the most under rated city in Australia,
@@livingandexploring looks belting, I'm a Geordie from Newcastle upon Tyne 🇬🇧 my city is beautiful, But I got to admit this looks beautiful Good video stay safe 👍
further I drive Coaches for Greyhound occasionally from Sydney to Brisbane and sure enough 95% of backpackers jump off in Byron. Whilst Byron is as beautiful I often think the 5% who jump off in Newy are the smarter ones and either in for the best shock or know something.
Newcastle is a beautiful city and a great place to live. We actually live in Lake Macquarie which is the next city area south of Newcastle and is part of the Greater Newcastle area. Newcastle has beautiful beaches and open spaces, great facilities, but don’t tell too many people or we’ll get swamped with too many coming to live here 7 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
The natural landscape in nsw is a trillion times nicer then vic. Its night and day difference and not even comparable. Im leaving boring freezing melbourne to the central coast thank god. Newcastle is a beautiful city
Grew up and lived in Newcastle/Lake Mac for 40 years, it's sad seeing how it looks now, ugly boxy buildings, hideous murals, empty shops, decaying buildings, very depressing when I go back.
@@graymcmic1419 I’m always sad to see empty buildings in every city. Luckily there’s still plenty of natural beauty around. We are so lucky in Australia. 😊
Actually it’s too late, my husband and I can’t wait to move here, ( more warners bay, Charlestown area ). We are born SEQ and are so over the Gold Coast. So over the heat, people, rent that’s insane and having to drive an hour and a half to ice skate. This summer has killed us, not one night under 26. Be grateful you live there. I don’t know why people love Queensland. Yes I was born here but I’m sick of sweating 24/7.
As a proud Novacastrian you have done a fantastic job showing our beautiful city.
An outstanding place to live and raise a family…just love it!
Lived in the Illawarra for 35 years and moved up here to newy 1 year ago. Both fabulous places. I am amazed how nice newy is in the inner suburbs.
Lived here most of my life yet will still sit and watch your video with a smile. Thanks for sharing. I hope you enjoyed your Parkrun.
@@davec1034 thank you for your lovely comment. Parkrun was awesome. 🤩

@@paulgore1237I’m glad you liked the video of Newcastle! 😊 I do try to avoid the tolls and tunnels here in Brissy. 😆

A great tour of Newcastle... Nice ! We're subbing from Sydney
Hi 👋 Thanks for watching and leaving such a nice comment. 😊
Great video of a beautiful city
Nicely filmed and edited.
I’ve lived in Newy all my life now I’ve seen it in a new light. Might go to Nobbys for a swim.
Thank you. Enjoy your swim! 🌞
Beautiful shots.
Thank you. ☺️
Newcastle is like Fight Club. The first rule of living in Newcastle is we don't talk about how good it is living in Newcastle.

Please stop telling people how good Newcastle is. We don't want people moving here and spoiling the place.
@@matthewlay9221 too late, I think your secret is out! 😎😁🌞 Bring on summer.

Newcastle is great, except for the fact that it has the most arrogant and ignorant drivers in Australia on the road.
