The reason Bacura has a 3D model trophy out of all Namco trophies is because it actually appears as an enemy in Smash Run! They just simply appear from the top of the screen and fall down in your way on certain parts of the map.

It’s insane this is a 7 year old game. Back in 2014, Super Mario Galaxy was a 7 year old game.
I remember this being huge among the gamers at my high school. Personally I waited until the Wii U version but the 3DS Sm4sh has a special flavor/feel to it distinct from the Wii U
Man, I wish trophies were still around in SSBU. Spirits are cool because they can stuff more in, but I sure do miss all the cool 3D models.
To be completely honest, I'm perfectly fine with spirits/stickers replacing trophies, especially since I love the thematic battles that come with them, however they must add back the descriptions and the games they're from like trophies had

I bought a 3DS XL specifically to play this game. I dreamed of a SSB handheld as a kid ever since the DS's release in 2004 after seeing how well Metroid Prime Hunters looked and ran.
Now I keep it for homebrew, there are many great games for it, especially classic PC shooters (Doom, Duke3D, Quake 1 and 2, and Half Life).
I love how he just releases daily on this channel hope he keeps this up

I definitely played Smash 3DS the most out of any other in the series. Getting the trophies was soooo much fun. I loved keeping track of the vault and beating classic mode with ever character. I still have like 80 more trophies to get, but those other 600 were amazing to get and see in the hoard.
These unscripted “Episodes” are so drastically different from his actual stuff, it’s kinda crazy

This was a really fun video. I remember spending hours sifting through the trophy collection in Melee when I was a kid.
I remember playing this when it first came out. Smash 3DS came out on October 3, 2014. 19 days before my 17th birthday. So I pretty much got it as a birthday present that year.
One of my favorite Nintendo 3DS games, and my most played 3DS game in general.
I had my 3DS for nearly a year when this came out. As I got it for Christmas 2013, alongside Pokémon X and Y.
aye, I got a similar story with this games it came out 4 before my 16th birthday, so my dad gifted it to me. I and it becane my most played game 3DS too

I remember going through the trophies on the 3Ds and just using the 3D slider thing to it's fullest advantage and just how cool the 3D effect was.
I was one of the few who could actually use the 3D well

Summer 2018 I took a trip to eastern Europe that entailed many 6+ hour bus rides. I brought my 2DS and all my games, but Smash 4 3DS was like the only thing I played the whole time. I don’t think I would be as skilled of a smash player these days without it (-: such a good title

Completely agree. it's got a certain style and character to it that Melee and Brawl had that Wii U and Ultimate lack, that Kid Icarus Uprising/Kirby Air Ride dynamic aesthetic. Makes me wish they could've tried to pull off a Smash DS, all D-pad double tapping based and cool pixel art sprites all over the place mixed with some rudimentary 3D effects

Aside from its competitive impracticality, I think Smash 3DS is the best Smash game. It has the best content and Wii U replaced literally everything that made it interesting.

I remember smash on 3ds, got a 3ds and the game the day it came out, it was rad
I personally played way more Smash on the 3DS than the Wii U. Being able to take it portable and meet up with friends and play was the best part. None of my friends had a U, no surprise.
Yeah you touched on it already Scott but for trophies Nintendo would emphasize on games that came out since the last Smash games. 3DS version had priority on DS/3DS games like OoT 3D, Kid Icarus Uprising, Spirit Tracks, Rhythm Heaven. Meanwhile WiiU had Skyward Sword, Xenoblade Chronicles, SMG 1/2, Kirby Return to Dream Land, DKC Returns, etc.
