The movement in this game, especially in late game, is so insane. This is excellent and a very enjoyable watch!
Little late for the party, but the tricks in this run are insane. Some mad precision and dexterity. I tried some moves and just managed to twist my fingers into a knot.
But still, the question remains... Which do you prefer? AV1 or AV2?

I prefer AV1, by a lot. I enjoyed AV2 as a casual experience, but it doesn't have the replay value for me that AV1 has, which is why I've speedrun AV1 so much more than AV2. :)
Just curious about something I noticed at 46:10, it looks like you skipped over an item here? I heard elsewhere that the enemy that drops the health fragment item can sometimes duplicate the drop, which I believe was unintended by the developer. Is that what happened here, and is that why you skipped it?

Thank you very much! This is sort of my magnum opus, even though there's more time save in there. And yes, very astute! There is only one of that health fragment, but if you glitch more than one of the slug before collecting it, then it can drop multiple times.
Even if you collect it multiple times though, it only counts once, so it's pure time loss to get the other copies of it. That's why I skip over it. :)
I noticed that too! (barely) ...and for a millisecond I thought "Oh no, that will screw up the run!" but a millisecond later I was like "Yeah but this is posted after the fact as a 100%, so it's gonna work out somehow." I love this game, but as much as I do, I stand in awe of the dedication it must take to get this good/fast.

18:30 - Excuse me, but how'd you get under the boss without instantly dying? (Omg I figured it out: Wait for boss to move back 1 step. Jump and hit the tail. Land behind leg. Push drill button and shoot button at the same time to do EVEN MORE DAMAGE) Genius. (I gave up and defeated the boss the old fashioned way. I kept dying and I got frustrated)
22:00 - I made the move to save waaaay up there where you find the grapple hook, and had to backtrack down to this save point. You're clocking in at 21:52, meanwhile I'm lagging WAY behind at 45:12 😂
This was the culmination of several years of practice, routing, and rerouting, so don't sweat it too much! You should have seen some of my early any% attempts, it was not pretty 😂
Uh huh, never knew grappling thingy was that buggy. May I ask how did you come up with these tricks? Waiting for AV2 100% speedrun (if you have time to work on that :) )
A lot of the glitches were discovered before I came to the game, but I did find a few new places to use them by just sort of wandering around the world with an understanding of how they worked and looking for places to use them.
AV2 100% speedrun is not coming, unfortunately. I didn't really enjoy speedrunning AV2 as much as AV1, and the game is much larger. I'm also not really speedrunning these days anymore, I don't have as much time as I used to for it. :(

99% map or items? If you're at 99% items you probably just forgot to pick something up. 99% map I would honestly look up a complete map and compare it to yours.

Hi, how did you pass the wall at 22:38?? I tried several times, can't follow you. Nice walkthrough by the way!
You lock in place, aim up-left, and jump while still holding lock. At the peak of your jump you quickly press grapple and roll your aim from up-left to up-right.
This isn't a guide or a walk-through though, it's a speedrun. This video is just here as proof that I actually did this as fast as I said.
