I make frappes all the time; there's gotta be ice cream or heavy cream In those frappes too. It's. It's not just ice and milk. You don't get that same thickness with just ice and milk

Hey Nicko, Try using heavy cream instead of ice cream & freeze it in ice cube trays. It gives a very smooth, rich & luscious mouth feel to the drink. I make 2 ingredient chocolate mousse with my Magic Bullet (chocolate syrup & heavy cream) & it is divine😜😋😛 Cheers Beautiful Soul Foodie💓💓💓
McDonald’s uses a frappe base from a bag. It has caramel or mocha flavor and it just blends with ice, no ice cream but adding ice cream will thicken it up. I’ve added ice cream to mine at McDonald’s 😂

I work at Starbucks and we do not use Ice cream for any of our Frappuccino's. We don't even have ice cream in our stores lol. As for the Mocha Frap and it's other variations that we offer we use Mocha, frap roast(unless it's creme based), coffee syrup(again, unless it's coffee based) and whatever else it get's depending which Mocha frap you get, whether it's the Java Chip frap or Mocha cookie crumble frap, then a grande scoop of ice and you all set. Video was awesome though :)
I work at maccas, all that happens is you press a few buttons on the frappe machine and automatically adds the specific amount of coffee syrup (Small, medium, large drinks) and then a ton of ice and it blends it for about 15 seconds. Then that's it.
