Yeah, I got bugged about him not picking up weapons a few times before actually remembering the point of this video. Besides, I have never found that weapon to be very useful anyway. Kinda sucks, in my opinion. It hardly hurts the enemies, but that's probably because I swear, I could see my ammo being killed or something.
Indurok The hivehand is basically the crowbar from a distance. It's for in case you run out of ranged weapon ammo but still have out-of-reach enemies to kill.

Learned a profession along the way, am studying while working a mini-job to somewhat make ends meet - financial burdens and such just making everything difficult. I remember watching episodes 1 through about 16 in high school. Then the uploads became so irregular I forgot about the show until about a year and a half ago. Suffice to say, I binged the fuck out of this... I still am/do. :D
He originally planned to switch to Black Mesa around the point where Gordon wakes up in the trash compactor as a smooth transition, but it didn't come out until later, so Ross is sticking to HL: Source. Personally, I like it better that way.
I love the idea that the black mesa administration designed a platform specifically dedicated to killing cattle in the most horrible way possible. Similar design philosophy to the room dedicated to smashing crates, or building turrets that kill the workers into the roof and walls without telling them, or making sloped ledges in an elevator shaft that aren't able to access the elevator.

Okay, long story short: Machinima fucked Ross over so he ended his contract with them. This is Ross' personal channel, the old episodes (prior to 45) are still on Machinima but the newer ones will only be uploaded (officially) here.
Mike Blain They weren't following the terms in the contract I think, either not paying Ross his share or using his stuff without permission, something like that. So, Ross kept making more episodes but they weren't uploaded because of re-negotiation. They finally agreed to part ways. The contract was voided so that Ross could upload his old and new episodes (the contract gave Machinima exclusive rights to them). Again, this is all from my memory of updates from Ross. It was a bit frustrating. In FM, all weapons do more damage, but Freeman's suit has Iron Man levels or protection. Also, he can do pull-ups. Just those things makes it interesting to play through. I also would imagine it enhances the entertainment: by playing first, you don't know what's coming in game the first time; then when you watch FM, you know what's coming, but Freeman doesn't (or at least, his dialogue is written as if he didn't), and it makes it even funnier.
Probably not. You can thank Valve's engine for that. It's because I add in motion blur. At 1280x720, the raw footage (BEFORE processing at 180fps) would come to about 28.5GB per minute. It's possible I might be able to find a workaround with Nvidia's Shadowplay when it comes out.

Indurok I found it useful on Xen occasionally. Right click killed the enemies in 2 seconds if you could hit all your shots.

You should see that room in the fan remake, Black Mesa. There's literally a mine on every surface and some surfaces have two or three.
