No I am manually turning around with my mouse, there is a script for the m249 where you can just look straight ahead and boost forward but I'm not using that for scriptless

No it's not even close for HL1. With the current starts a god run would be just barely sub26.
Hl21 is not really comparable because of all the scrips that were used and also the modded version of the game that was used(bunnymod pro). There are quite a few tricks in it that are impossible on an original version of the game

Thanks for keeping the game fresh and entertaining to watch, I'm sure it's going to pay off once MMod drops and people realize how insane the skilllevel for these games are. Used to play (and sometimes still do) on TFC skills servers, mostly pure strafe or concing maps... You should try it out if you haven't already.

How does take 0 fall damage
It's a trick where you uncrouch and jump on the frame where you hit the ground, making the game skip the part in the code wher you are meant to take falldamage. More here: wiki.sourceruns.org/wiki/Jumpbug

whats thr difference between rta and ss
Rta is with saves and loads which especially in opposing force allows you to do a lot of tricks to speed up the game.
SS stands for single segment and means you have to do the whole game without a saveload, also meaning if you die the run is over
