Just about to buy one that looks very similar to this but been mapped to 250bhp. I’m not too bothered about that but it does go pretty well. I just love the interior and noise it makes. Great vid 👍
ive yet to make bad descisions on a car purchase. my clubman s 2017 all4 has low taxes and low consumption. still it makes 300hp (dont tell the authorities). Ive had 2 subarus and a renault clio 91 as my first car. Over 2 years and 130tkm on the mini and still loving it every time I start it.
I like the Clubman. I wanted one but the good lady wanted the countryman. We compromised on a 2.0 countryman Cooper S with cooper works extras. And I think it’s better from a practicality point of view. And it’s still an excellent drive.
Seriously thinking of buying one of these, there's one a few years old near me for sale, and I'm absolutely terrified of people thinking I'm gay if I buy a mini. Terrible I know, but I can't decide
Love this! Just bought a 2019 Clubman S over the weekend. Pick up Thursday. Glad you like it too. We have a dog and need a boot liner like yours to protect bumper - did you just go for the Boot Buddy bumper protecter or boot liner too?
Oh superb, enjoy collection day on Thursday! So just the bumper protector here. We also have a thick mat he sits on with a towel and that seems to keep the boot looking good :)
Over the years minis have become increasingly fugly an bloated and being that its owned by bmw means it will break and be ridiculously expensive to fix and maintain i always wanted a mini but those repair bills always put me off
My wife has the 2017 Cooper S Auto All4. top spec with everything on it. Lounge leather, HUD, way better spec than yours. Took it to Lancaster from Leicester and back 4 up on Monday because my Volvo V90 had an issue and it did remarkeably well. Also a surprising 47mpg.
complete waste the all 4. heavier and worse on fuel. never had to much power to have 4wheeldrive. HUD isn’t worth it at all. have it on my car. at this point i think you have a worse spec,
@@LifeInMotionuk funny you mention Nissan Qashqai because that is my colleague's car that I was getting a lift with after the head gasket in my citroen c2 blew.
I have a 2018 that my daughter wanted and now doesn’t. I’m now stuck with this car. The thing must have built for midgets. It’s way to small and cramped inside. Any little bump and my head hits the ceiling. One thing I can’t believe is the horrible gas mileage. You would think with how much gas this thing burns it would be super fast. WRONG. Slow, ugly, horrible fuel mileage, and I see the trim and paint is already failing. One thing that is really irritating is the brake light bulbs. It’s a proprietary bulb. Only BMW and MINI use them. Oh yeah, when it’s time for an oil change the shops never have the filters or oil that is required. 💩💩💩
@@ifyouarefeelingsinister Nope. Now sensors seem to be going out. Just replaced one on the brakes. It kept saying the car needed a brake service. The shop found a bad sensor and said the brakes are fine. That was last week. Now the display is saying it needs brake fluid service. It's truly just a miniature BMW with all the problems it has. People still say nice Clubman. I just smile and say thank you.......🙃
Have a 2022 manual Cooper S Clubman. Love it!
I really like Mini’s manual gearbox’s!

I wouldve bought a countryman s if they werent so rare and popular in finland
I love my club man 17
Love it 🙌🏻
@6:26 I do that literally every day in mine :D
Why compare it to Jukes and crossovers? Its no bigger than a Focus, Golf, Astra etc
Exactly
Like I shop in Sainsburys 😉
I have the 2021 cooper s clubman, custom exhaust, induction, jcw pack, new double clutch 7 speed if you want to do a video on it no problems
the net in the back is OEM? or where did you buy it?
It was a mini official accessory from the Mini parts store

I do see a fair few countryman’s around - pleased you’re enjoying it

Do it. It’s a great car.
@@LifeInMotionuk It's got a nice red paint job with black stripes and black leather
Not a Qashqai competitor in any way. The Countryman is an SUV. Also, you need a manual for real fun.

How tall are you for a size comparison
I’m 5’10”
Just bought one the other day. Im 6’4. No problem to have a passenger behind me in the back seat.
No cup holders in the back

@gord6695 Ah yes, All4 anything but a waste in the North West Highlands Ullapool where we most often are. Don't assume, it makes...etc.
Alright Bragatha Christie. Way better than yours haha. My daddy's car is better than yours 😂
I thought they had 189 bhp?
In the U.S. and some other countries. Not in the U.K.
My 1.6 has about 170
Just got a 2008 one for £4000
Awesome, enjoy!

If only it had Honda/Toyota reliability.
dont get this as a family car. its way too small. even for a single bloke as me i'd prefer an outback above all
They blow head gaskets.
@ACDC4LIFE they dont.

Pushing a boulder up a hill by trying to convince people the clubman is a more suitable family car than a Qashqai...it just isn't.
