I have a 2020 Clubman all 4S, and I absolutely love it ❤ I'm used to driving hot hatches my first one was a 93 Honda CRX SI, then a Volkswagen GTI, with all the bells and whistles in upgraded air intake, chip, and exhaust. But being almost 50 years old this is the perfect car and this is the last generation of it so I'm going to keep this thing forever. Absolutely love it❤
For those looking to purchase one of these; he is absolutely right about the visibility out the rearview windows. I just removed the center headrest completely. That helped me a lot!! Thanks for the great review!
I appreciate your input, but, as a regular "non-expert" guy, I don´t care what you say, this car has given me the most fun I have ever had driving. I have the manual shift Clubman and I l o v e it !! It is great and not too small like the regular minis are.
I came here because I have a clubman S 184HP and going to get MINI Cooper S Clubman 2.0 Chili 192pk soon new price here in The Netherlands is €53.000,- you read it right that much! It's tax heaven here for the Dutch TAX. And one litle thing with all do respect but you could be the son of the best actor Al Pacino ! Great review man and thank you!
Great Vid! I have a 2019 Mini Clubman S All4 with no upgrades except larger wheels and added LED racing lights. Power/Speed..I think its adequate enough to get in trouble or not. Ultimately, its just ALWAYS fun to drive more than all the other cars I've had in the past (Mercedes c350, BMW 335i, mini countryman s, etc...)
I leased a 2019 Clubman S All4 and recently turned it in. Previously I had a 2015 Countryman S All4, and a 2012 S Hardtop. All of them were really fun but the Clubman was my favorite. It had the go cart handling of the Hardtop combined with the great winter snow handling of the Countryman.
Thanks for the video. I have been thinking of getting a mini. The topics that you covered were what I was most curious about. Although I would like to see the back seats folded down... if possible. I will check that out myself when I go shopping. Great video! 👍 😁
I have a 2017 clubman jcw all 4 6 speed manual .A tad slower than a 2 door cooper s... but clubman will handle better . Love it . Love the heads up display. Retains mini feel. I don't have any issue with any visibility.. countryman doesn't have a mini feel. I love how I can reach everything. Love the hot hatch look.
I wanted to click on a random car review of your's to see if you spoke differently about other cars and nope, it is all the same. I love the info you provide and can't get over the t-shirts you wear either. hahaha. While not the car for me, I love the information you provide. Time to look at other reviews!
Great video. I enjoy your presentation. We have ordered a 2022 Clubman and are awaiting it from Oxford. Believe it or not we sold our Honda Odyssey to get this car. We didn't need the space in the van. My other car is a BMW 328i. Thanks for your opinion.
Me and my parents recently went to pick up my brand new fully loaded $52,250 2022 mini JCW clubman all4 in red and black stripes and red calipers and the 19 inch black and silver rims with the automatic because I can not drive a manual I also decided to get the black leather interior plus everything else as far as options, accessories, and packages go and overall I really like it as a first car so far. Just wondering how is reliability with mini coopers overall do you know by any chance? Also for those of you wondering yes my parents did cover the full cost of my new clubman for me so YAY no monthly car payments.
Sounds like a sweet spec... that's definitely quite the MSRP... not too long ago that got me into a decently equipped e92 335i!!! But congrats on a nice car and no payments 😎👍 Reliability shouldn't be an issue with a 22' for quite a long time
@@Reoniz Ok that is good as I know BMWs and some other luxury cars like land rover can sometimes be unreliable so that was definitely a concern I appreciate the help.
Hmmm... between the 2 door S and Clubman S I'm going classic Hardtop S... but the Model 3 is interesting... I might have to recommend the Tesla unless you specifically want the Mini Cooper panache, the Tesla offers more practicality and versatility
@@Reoniz thanks for the reply. I am also 6.2 but for some reason my hair is touching the side sun shade. And that’s weird. I have to put a seat in the lowest position possible…
I put the seat bottom to the lowest position possible, then I personally like to recline the seat back quite a bit in order to bring my line of sight down to just above the steering wheel -- can definitely look and feel goofy for those who don't like such a seating position but it works great for me!
I’m sure I could make something work haha. Do you know how well they tow? I’m looking at getting a clubman and towing an older mini. Maybe like anything from 03 and older
@@zeksplaylists5087 honestly probably not great... and don't hate me for saying this, but personally I'd get a mid-size pickup truck for both those purposes (towing and hauling around a go-kart) Something like a Tacoma 🥵
Clubman or Countryman?? Ya'll know my pick 😤
Fiat abarth 😈 Italian car supremacy
@@jakeblum5125 fair enoughhhh!! :)
Clubman

I’m deciding between the two next weekend

Is the car reliable though is the real question ?

To each his own!! The owner of this particular Clubman agrees with you... and that's why all these different models exist 😅👍
The best clubman review out there. You’re so right about the fake vents! At least the exhaust is real unlike some fast Audis and Mercedes.

I agree in regards to the Clubman feeling more "Mini" than the Countryman
Clubman JCW is only 231HP the 2018 model is 315:) Try this one :)
Informative review for a prostective 19" model buyer, thanks.

Pretty sure the ALL4 uses the 8-speed transmission still. Only the FWD gets the 7-speed dual clutch

Just curious..how much more gas does the Dinan chew up? Cali gas prices are off the freakin roof right now!
It's a negligible difference... aside from it making you wanna punch it more - that aspect of it can of course affect gas consumption
I adore my clubman. It dies with me
Now that's true love 😍
Is the exhaust shown on this car aftermarket? Or just the tips?
"Just the tip" hahahah sorry I had to do it... but ya it's just JCW Pro exhaust style tips, standard Cooper S exhaust !!
I have this Cooper S clubman and can’t get the exhaust to pop and bang
What year? 2019 and newer don't really burble... you can check my latest Cooper S video to see 😔
Great video
Hey, is this one in moonwalk grey ??
It sure is!
The jcw... I would call quick.
This is the quirkiest, not quickest 😅
fasssttt boyyyyyyy
😈😈
Yea its not the fastest but how much you can add with a simple program change? A whopping 50 horsepower!
😎😎
Ideally, I would get a Clubman Cooper All4 with manual transmission.
Sounds like a well balanced machine.. 6spd 😎🙏🏼
Hey man, what is your height?
About 6'2" !! The Clubman is ridiculously spacious up front... I'd imagine someone up to about 6'8" could comfortably drive it
