I like how you explain step by step to preform each job you do and clean up afterwards. When I bought my 2022 F-350 6.7 the dealer preformed maintenance on it and didn’t clean up after. Great job.
Your videos have given me the confidence to be able to wrench on my own superduty more. Luckily I am mechanically inclined so it comes a bit easier for me but I am by no means a master mechanic. Great video. Did mine a little while ago after I bought a used 2014 F250 with 110k. He maintained it well except was using Ford mileage spec on Tran, diff and transfer case fluid changes. Did all when purchased.
I drained and flushed my transfer case metalic thick, grey fluid with proper atf fluid! Truck shifted into 4x4 easypeasy. The front diff drain n clean refilled with 80w90 conventional made my truck into a tight smooth turning rig!!!!!!!

I have a hand pump vacuum but it takes too long for my liking. Always a pleasure watching your video's. I always learn something new. Thank You!
Did mine a while back using the Hopkins/FloTool 10106 bottle spout. I hold the bottle against the bottom of the cab and gently squeeze pump it. I use this spout with the hose removed for filling the trans via the dipstick tube. Works great on manuals too. The shutoff valve keeps the mess under control. I used yellow Teflon tape on my fill/drain plugs as it's rated for fuels and oils.
Completed this service + front/rear diffs on my '17 F350 CC SRW LB @ 40k miles a couple wks ago. Used an old DEF hose, that was included in box with LV quart containers. Right or wrong, also used a lubelocker gasket on the D60 front. Easy 10 min or so job w/ T-Case. Thanks ARod...

I have something like that pump. But smaller. Thread right on the bottle. When I swapped the fluid in the trans case the ford guy gave me the LV fluid. I asked and same thing ford now recommends it now. And yes got my pump at HF,too
I use to use tin foil to make a track on my Harley to prevent oil from getting all over the frame during oil changes, seems like a bit of foil would be great here to minimize the clean up afterwards
I wish our dealer still had the bulk brake clean with those canisters! Had a new guy start last week and someone told me had used my cans of brake clean like they were water!
Just got my 2017 done today. Front and rear diffs too. At 52K miles but don't wanna chance it even tho I only tow during desert season. Dealer was super cheap for the service for all 3. Less than $400. Like I always say, regular maintenance is cheap insurance.
Make sure to clean the magnet assuming these have one! Also form a funnel works wonders! Also are u required to run the t case and have the fluid circulate and check it again?
AROD with the throwback on the Focus fuel pump recall, I did all but a couple of those that came through the dealer I was at, even have the cutter to take the lock ring out of the bottom of the tank still.

Where can I get the brake cleaner pressurized container and bulk brake cleaner? I’m buying one of those pumps tomorrow. I have been modifying garden sprayers but your way for transferring transmission fluid is much cheaper and appears to fill faster
