Thanks for making this video man, there are a few things I'd love to do with these stickers! Love your channel by the way, I've been tinkering with the DisplayFusion Trial for a few days now and your video on DF was great too 👏👏
Great vid. The only thing i can get my iphone or android phone to automatically pick up is if the tag only has a url on it. When i try wifi nothing ever happens.
Yep, clearly I've been living under a rock because this is the first time I've ever heard of this...and I feel like my entire way of doing business shifted. There are seriously cool.
There are so many youtube videos that shows what you can do with the tags, but. I cannot find yet. any video that shows you how to set up routine. etc. To do with the tag, especially if you have an Amazon Alexa or just even in general on the steps involved.
The 215 tags I mention in the video have a max text length of 490 characters, you can get the 216 which has 852. I've never exceeded the limit but the price difference between the two is minimal so go for the 216 if you can.
You mentioned wanting to do the storage thing, my favourite way to do it is actually to put URLs on the tags that link to either a Google Keep note or a Google Doc, that way it's easier to be read by any device and you can edit it without having to rewrite to it every time. If you use Evernote you can do this too
No, not really. NFC only works at very small distances. Small items like that are difficult because unless they have tracking built in, any third party tracker will be too large.
What NFC Tools app on Android???? I don't have that app. I know you mentioned Tasker, that's on Google Play but I'm not sure if you meant a built-in NFC Tool app in Android.

Glad to hear it! You'll be seeing plenty of NFC in my upcoming videos about my new house, using it plenty.

More NFC ideas would be great! I especially loved the alarm tip that I should really begin to use lol
Yeah I use it every morning to ensure I wake up in time 😂 I'll start working in more ideas
This will be a dope video !! @@_Caddac

Chatgpt is your friend
Very informative video!
Could you make another vid where you show these use cases ?
Thx in advance!
I have read there is a character limit on some tags. Which tag would allow the list function that you described? Great Video!

Hey Caddac, Can I use NFC tags to find lost items? Small items like a hearing aid? If not, any idea what I can use?
No, not really. NFC only works at very small distances.
Small items like that are difficult because unless they have tracking built in, any third party tracker will be too large.
is there any way to make them un-rewritable? Also, is there any way to make sure they're anonymous and no way for anyone to track them? Cheers!
You can lock them
You can set a password that doesn't allow for anyone to rewrite to them. Just don't forget the password.
I wish someone would do a good tutorial on Macrodroid with NFC since it's how u do automation with Androids. Need more andriod nfc stuff.
I'll hopefully be moving into a new home soon and I could see that being a little project I embark on. Keep an eye on the channel :)
Bro is it possible to fill password in a website automatically by using NFC tag
You shouldn't store anything sensitive on an NFC tag without security measures.
How to get maney or how to sell things you have to tell me very very well
Amazing!!!!!
Can you create an NFC sticker on Android but it will be scannable with an iPhone? To turn lights off, for example
It depends on what you're using to read the sticker and complete the action. You'd have to test it

It's not built in.

@_Caddac Ahhh thanks!!! How stupid of me to think Samsung would've included such an app as Apple.
Thanks again
so instead of clicking a shortcut on my phone i just walk over to a tag let it open the shortcut 🤪
