@@DjangoGroeniOS notifications are lack luster. They should copy it straight from android. I have been using iphone from 2 years and this is one of the few features I am missing on my phone. Android did it just perfect.
iOS is unbearably awful for anyone who has used Android (especially OneUI or NothingOS). Its clunky, lacks basic features and requires you to jump through hoops to do the most rudimentary stuff. The whole "it just works" schtick is more applicable to Android than it is for iOS. Android is much more user-friendly and allows you to do whatever you want however you want.
The "it just works" is for iOS for a reason, lack of customization and Apple has very few devices to support vs a bunch of devices to support on Android.
The funny part bring up this to someone who uses iOS and they will say who actually needs all of this? It really shows how they are conditioned to accepting a more inferior OS.
@@mikaelbiilmann6826 You can have a stable OS and apps as well as customization. They aren't mutually exclusive. Just look at OneUI as an example. It's the most feature-rich, customizable android skin ever yet is extremely stable (par for the course for a multi-billion dollar company, but I digress). Though, Samsung is a flagship brand. I do admit that budget phones usually have pretty awful Android skins.

The worst thing that should definitely be fixed is how there's not a camera folder in the gallery app for photos taken with the camera and everything is mixed
When I was on iOS I hated that iCloud synced all photos on my iPhone including the stuff I didn't care about. I've always had the habit of only syncing photos I've taken with my camera and nothing else.

Long term android user just got 16 pro max and I must say i am liking it so far but it lets you down with very basic customisations, No 3rd party apps, photos management and its relationship with files app is awful, complicated settings page and omg back gestures are a pain.
You forgot to mention how slow the animations are and how there's no way to speed them up. For someone used to snappy Android animations, it is so frustrating
Another big dealbreaker for me is you can’t zoom in/out of maps during navigation due to lack of multi-touch in CarPlay. Sucks when u need to get a high-level overview of the navigation to pick an alternate route or just a Quick look at upcoming directions !

@@NetvoTV there's a app that let you save copied items from your clipboard but you need to enter the app every time you take a screenshot for it to save and saved text won't always be in your clipboard you need tk enter the app to copy it
As a long time EX android user, switched to IOS about a year ago, just to have a bit of a taste of this system, and let me tell you, the experience was super solid in the first few hours (setting up the phone, transfer data, downloading apps etc…) but right after that the struggle kicked in really badly. Don’t get me wrong I really like the iverall experience but the Gesture control, and the 4th point that was brought up about certain settings being hidden in stupid settings still gives me headaches….they are painfully stupid. Multitasking…never used it (not a pain point for me)
there is a camera button on the iphones 16, that you can use to open the camera app, but you CAN'T disable the feature to swipe the lock screen to open camera, that keeps opening the camera in my pocket and killing my battery...
I use files app to open photos from my external ssd, but the photos doesn't open in full resolution there... Only in the photos app, witch we can't use to open external drves photos...

@@NegyedMisi you can just keep gboard, cuz FUTO has a seperate voice input app too, that just has the dictation input. I personally use Microsoft SwiftKey cuz I find it's suggestions to be better, but I keep the FUTO Keyboard to quickly switch when I need autofill (it's unreliable in SwiftKey) and dictation.
You can have gifs and stickers in the keyboard on iOS, but as far as I’m aware it only works in Messages or social media apps. Also I think the camera button would’ve been better as a Touch ID sensor tbh
I was thinking about switching from samsung to iPhone 16 pro.. now me using multi window almost daily is a huge factor. Also that volume rocker section. I can just change any volume with one click button. Guess i am skipping 16promax for s25u
RCS encryption doesn't exist. Currently its google's proprietary rcse that has encryption. So apple can't encrypt it. How would google and apple interact with their encryption. If they both work together to make it encrypted, it would go against apple, since apple's encryption might actually be genuine end to end. While google's certainly isn't. Google's encryption has back doors and keys are available for "some people", most likely without the need of a warrant.
u can modify the photos app, u can modify the control center so you're just lazy on that, and apps without security right from internet doesn't gives me the security i want.

With all the limitations of iOS I switched back to iIS in 2020 after 8 years on Android. Their apps were all over the place, unstable and ugly to boot. I will struggle with iOS because I also bought into the ecosystem.

Any type of apple device is make some headache for me as Android + Windows & Linux users. Perfomance & Camera are great, stable, but only that is good thing, else is horrible in some way or another especially with how their implementing the OS or Software.
The takeaway from this video is "Do it the Apple way or do without". The biggest thing wrong with Apple is they think they still own the phone you bought and you will have to have their approval for any changes on how you use it and customise it. No wonder the term 'Jailbreak' was coined.

Had to go back to Samsung after dealing with iOS, I missed my dated alarms, edge screen, and multitasking.
