Been looking recently into buying a GOPRO as a secondary camera for my livestreams (don't really want to invest too much money into a 2nd dslr/mirrorless camera), but didn't see much information about attempting to use higher resolutions above 1080p as a camera outside of the GOPRO webcam application which supposedly keeps the GOPRO locked at 1080p. Glad to have also done enough deep diving to find your video and discover that regardless, GOPRO cameras are just hard struck at 1080p even if I were to pass it through my capture card. Really informative video!
