William Osman did one too, no idea if there are more but it's possible. The film is streaming on youtube movies so I think they reached out to eccentric creators to do low budget recreations for publicity, the results are pretty entertaining and I'm pretty sure I want to see this movie now, so I guess the ad strategy works lol. idk, amazon commissioned Michael Reeves (also friends with Osman) to make a "laser baby" as promotion for one of their original series that isn't even on youtube so who knows, this kind of content could become more prevalent. it's a lot more fun that ads that interrupt every video that everyone has seen 1000x and skips, I feel like that creates a negative product association but interactive content is a way cooler experience for everyone involved.
it's cool they are going for independent channels, not huge ones. it's pretty nuts tho they are one of the biggest corporations in the world, but def seem to have a sense of humor about it (the nbc/universal show 30 rock mocks the corporate structure all the time), I think they did a better publicity job than amazon, nothing against Michael Reeves who is awesome. now I wonder if there are more than two sponsored Nobody videos from other creators, or if more are coming (fingers crossed for Corridor Digital).

I love how you can see the pure joy on Ted's face when he's working with the stuntmen. Thats why people like me love film/acting. Because it makes us feel like that. It's stuff like this that encourages me to keep on with my dreams. I have a plans for several film projects that I am slowly fleshing out, and stuff like this is what encourages me to keep on chugging. Ted, I know you probably won't see this, but thank you. You, along with my theater teacher, are the reason I love film and theater, and the reason I still do it, despite so many people in my life saying that it's impossible to make it. So thank you.

The team in charge of advertising Nobody has done a fantastic job. The trailers and other vids advertising it have all been great and definitely peaked my interest for the movie, with this partnership with Ted sealing the deal with me deciding to see this movie ASAP. That final product I think is evidence that Ted with the combination of his humor and his passion and skill in film made him the perfect candidate for this partnership.
I saw the movie the weekend after it came out, so I can confirm that it definitely lives up to the ads. And, the guy who played Emmett Brown is in it!
