Can someone pls tell me how much it'd cost to build somethin similar with a W123/W124/W126 and plonk a 55/63 AMG motor? How reliable would it be? I'm assumin it's goin to need a trans and diff swap/upgrade too? Askin since W116s are very rare here in India and don't come up for sale that often.

Macht es Sinn einen originalen 6.9 W116 für den Umbau zu nehmen... oder kann man auch mit einem Stahlfahrwerk W116 (350, 380, 450) den Umbau mit dem AMG 6.3er Motor wagen???

That was a real 6.9.
The only thing different on the 6.9 is the engine and that is clearly a different engine so no 6.9 were harmed during this project
@niklasmeyer9660 look for the dry sump oil tank on the right fender. Also, the VIN number is unique.
