    A word about the yoke. I have been driving the Model S with the yoke for almost a year and I find it far more comfortable on long trips with autopilot. However, a serious problem with both the yoke and the wheel is that the horn is a button off to the side and the turn signals are mounted on the wheel. In an emergency, where you need to honk the horn, no one will be able to do that, especially if the wheel/yoke is turned.

    • @stunnerdoc
      @stunnerdoc 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      Tesla has rolled out an update where you can press on the steering forcefully and it will honk, so in an emergency you don’t have to search for the button

      You should be PRESSING THE BREAK in an emergency situation. Your focus shouldn't be a horn. 😂😂😂

    Wow, such a great overview on the X, I was sitting on the fence for a 2020 Raven Long Range Plus, took it out for a test drive, it has full radar and USS sensors so a great model year, only issue is charging is not as fast as current series. I think the model X is one of my favourite cars and now with version 4 includes the radar again and higher resolution cameras, but no USS sensors, to bad.

    Thanks for the good Video. You are right with the price strategy from Tesla. Other car maker you get 20% discount or 0% depends when you buy it is also not perfect. I like cars so I spend some money on them but I know that the money is wasted as soon as I have done a buy. My question : How are the parking going. I have a 2020 Model S and with the sensors I can get in really small spots. This is really handy in big cities. How is it working with vision? Greetings Hartmuth

    Hi great video but I have one question I’ve always wondered on opening the front doors and parked next to cars relatively close to your car I always wonder does it give you anxiety that you’ll hit the other car parked next to you or can you atleast guide it to prevent it from hitting the other car, this is the one thing hindering me from upgrading from a model Y to a model x just didn’t like that they don’t give you an option also to manually open the door from the inside

    • @Tari
      @Tari 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On cars that do swing out all the way and probably on future updates to this one. It actually consents the distance, and either keeps the door close to the car, swings, open, partially, or can swing open wide. Every time I’ve ever had a passenger, she always freaks out when I open the door for her that it’s going to slam into the car next to us, and she goes to grab it… But I often tell them just watch, it knows where it is in space.

    Hey, great video🎉, I am debating about whether getting model x plaid or model s plaid, for the x the door the glass on top of you and the extra clearance than the s is great. And for the s the low Center of gravity the look the stability is awesome. I am single and only live with myself, the the model x six seat is meaningless to me, and I like to carry my mtb my skis inside my car to the parks, the model s plaid can fold all the way down and no problem talking all these stuff, whereas model x plaid can only do six seats I am afraid about can not put my bike inside? Could you give me some advice on whether choosing model x plaid or the s plaid, I currently drive a y p but it is so bumpy for Boston road, and I have had test drive for both x and s. I would like to hear some advice from you.😊

    • @nevco8774
      @nevco8774 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no way in Tesla Model X you cannot fold down both third and sevond row of seats. With all those seats folded you have more hight then Model S for luggage. If you plan using a roof rack then it is not possible on Model X. However both can mount an aftermarket rack for bikes on tow hitch which is lower to the ground for mounting/unmounting, yields more efficiently and longer range for the car.
      If you are a true adventurous person then go with Rivian since from next spring you will have an adapter to use Tesla Superchargers.
      Some folks prefer waiting for Tesla Cybertruck.
      If I were so adventurous I would go for Chevrolet Silverado EV due to its huge battery and range and once again a Tesla Superchargers adapter coming in the spring.
      The most adventurous folks towing regularly might go for RAM Charger - an extended range EV truck with a relatively large battery and engine to fall on in case of need.

    I have the same exact car seat on my Model Y. I tested it on a Model X and found 2 big drawbacks:
    1) The car seat’s headrest leans on the vehicle’s headrest and looks like it can break or something.
    2) The top tether has to run on one side of the vehicle’s headrest and it’s impossible to tighten it.

    Tesla needs to be careful with their sudden price changes, they don't want to be known as the brand that depreciates and devalues their cars to the point of alienating their existing customers (or even new customers). A person would ask themselves why would I buy that car if its going to lose half of its value in one year.

    He didn’t talk too much on the Falcon wing doors. Disappointed. The Falcon wing doors are heavily criticized for not being reliable and expensive to fix. Plus, they suck in crowded parking lots (to the contrary of other opinions out there, they don’t tell you the full story)….. especially with adjacent side mirrors! They simply will not detect someone else’s side mirror and will clunk into it…and may even damage it!

It's human nature, we adapt...I find myself now wearing a ball cap when driving for the sun in my eyes with sunglasses...which I never had to do in any other vehicle I've ever owned. The seats, they are prone to puncture and tearing. My drivers seat now has a tear on the bottom near the left thigh area...how it happened, I have no idea. The really down side is after I purchased Tesla devalued the vehicle over $30k (which I will never see again). If you are considering a Tesla, I wouldn't necessarily back away just know that no vehicle is perfect AND Tesla has absolutely NO customer loyalty benefits at all none, nada, zip.
