    I am near 6 months of ownership on my 22 plaid as well. Where I agree. 1. front Cup holders being too small. Most of the largest drinks will fit in the rear cup holders though. You're literally carrying around a jar. That wouldn't fit in any cupholder in any car lmao. 2. 3rd row seats being so awkward to put back up. The fact that you have to do it manually at this price point is kinda wild. 3. I agree with the rear windshield but its not a huge deal imo. Where I disagree : 1. Not a fun car to drive. Its by far the most interesting car ive ever driven. The fact you can tune the suspension, steering and throttle to whatever you want makes it feel different on any given day. Coming from a corvette, there was never a time where i didn't think i was driving a corvette. One day you can be in plaid mode with speed of 1000 horses or you can be chill in comfort mode with the suspension raised up and have a luxurious chill drive into work. Either way, its really dynamic and really enjoyable. 2. The front door not closing fast enough for you. You've mentioned this in another video about how you just want to really get up and go. And that is really strange you feel its slow considering the door will open on your arrival and with the press of the brake pedal the door closes quickly. You can ignore the door, press the brake and by the time you've swiped down to go in reverse the door is already closed and being that its electric you don't have to "wait" for anything. Its by far the fastest, get up and go car ive ever been in so you considering that whole process slow doesn't make sense to me. Ill also add.... . You didn't say for or against this but the cabin noise is incredibly good. I really like how quiet it is. again coming from something else that was loud and had constant road noise its pretty unbelievably quiet.

      Agreed on the lack of cabin noise! I’ll be sure to mention this in the full review. As for the auto doors, I have no problem with the doors closing, that feature I can certainly appreciate. It’s getting out of the vehicle when arriving at my destination that annoys me. As for the vehicle not being fun, I stand by this. Dynamic, yes! Fun, no. It’s a great vehicle to drive, although “fun” just doesn’t come to mind when thinking about it. To me, fun cars are Cayman gt4’s, manual 996’s, gated R8’s, and V10 Lambos; the X is a fantastically comfortable and relaxing daily with sterile speed. Just my personal opinion of the vehicle. Congrats on the X though, we’re blessed to be in a position to own such a vehicle. Cheers

      @@squaredawayeveryday Thanks for your explanation! Oh got it, its when you leave the vehicle you feel its slow! Okay i guess i agree then. It would be neat if they had a way to disable it if the car is on and in park. So you can still have the features of the door opening on your arrival and automatically closing but youre able to get out quicker if people are in a hurry. As far as the driving comparison. I didn't realize you were comparing it to literally any other car. Then sure i guess i agree but You said it yourself, its basically a mini van. Im not sure how fair It is comparing the drive to supercars and sports cars with completely different aerodynamics. My bro in law has a GT3 and weve been riding and it is fun but it would be really hard to compare the two because they serve two totally different markets. So when i think of cornering, steering handling, acceleration and top end speed i would normally think of it compared to its class or what market it serves. And thats why I still think x is on top! Great video. Subbed and good luck to your new pre orders. Ive been pre ordered for the hummer truck to replace my ram for over 2 years now and still no end in sight. Some of these car manufacturers are making these cars at a loss and have 0 incentive to pump them out. Lots of broken promises and unfulfilled deadlines in the EV world right now.

    5:45 just so you know the center screen is called the infotainment screen because it displays information and it also has entertainment on it.

    I have the six seat configuration as well. When I want to fold the the third row back up, I do it from each side and it’s much easier than from the rear. I got the long range instead of plaid since the range was slightly more important to me than the speed. (It’s def fast enough)

    This car looks SO much better with the 22 inch wheels. The 20’s just look too small on it. Stance looks less aggressive than a MYP. I wish the 20’s just had a more aggressive offset at least.

      @justinmorris9802 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it may look better with the BIGGER wheel (though i like the design better on the 20"), but the advantages of the 20' wheel FAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR outweighs the 22', its not even close. I literally don't understand why ANYONE would ever get the 22' wheels. Like do you not give a damn about your rims? do you like blowouts? is range not important to you? etc etc etc...
      20' wheels... more rubber... more air.... more protection from blowouts.... better range....

    • @Tulipo08
      @Tulipo08 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@justinmorris9802 well if I’m buying a plaid I want it to look more aggressive. 20 miles of range is immaterial on a day to day basis. If range was that important just get the LR version. FWIW my MYP with its 21s has a stated range of 303 which is less than the plaid’s stated range of 311 with 22 inch wheels. I never had a problem with the range of our MYP.
      Sure from a pure performance perspective a lighter smaller wheel with more tire is better. Just wish the 20s had a more aggressive offset like I said in my original comment.
      To reiterate I prefer the more aggressive look of the 22s for the plaid. So I’d choose the 22s and that’s actually what I did. I could have gotten the 20s and gone aftermarket for lighter 22s but decided to take the Tesla wheels. I like the way they look.

      @@Tulipo08 I’m literally laughing right now as I read your post lol…
      So you buy a $110,000 car which is your reasoning for it to look more aggressive? Like really?
      How about you purchased a $110,000 car so you want to do everything you can to protect it (more rubber and air in the 20” which protects from blowouts under a very heavy car), feel more comfort (all that rubber and air allows the car to absorb more bumps which offers a smoother ride), and have better range.
      So yeah… for $5,000 less I have more protection, comfort, and range. All very valuable things (especially the first one).
      But you enjoy that aggressive look I suppose lol.

      @@justinmorris9802 so with the 22s the car doesn’t have good range, isn’t comfortable, and will have basically guaranteed blow outs? Is that what your saying??
      If I’m spending 110k I want it to look good to ME. Right? Or no I spend the money so I can be like ehh looks okay but at least I get 20 miles miles range which I personally don’t need. Comfort wise the car is already very comfortable with the 22s and guess what? To me it looks better. So at the end of the day I have a car that has great range, 1000hp, comfortable and LOOKS GOOD TO ME. That’s hard to understand? Crazy. I mean how do I get by with my MYP on 21s with only 303 mile range? I’m blowing out tires every month I suppose.

      @@Tulipo08 Jesus Christ you really lack in reading comprehension 😂.
      I didn’t say it’s guaranteed blowout. Nowhere did I say that. I simply said the 20” wheels have more rubber and more air which protect the car better and provide a more comfortable ride than the 22”. That is NOT an opinion. That is a fact. You do what you want with your money, no matter how dumb I find it to be. It’s a free world and your decisions have no impact on me. I was just offering facts. They are not up for debate.
