I really appreciate you and Kyle's videos. After doing a lot of research, we took delivery of our MYLR very similar timing when you got your X. We took delivery the day after Thanksgiving on black Friday. It was fun watching your experience taking delivery when we did also. I absolutely love having an EV and would never go back. I remember when my wife agreed with me and maybe we should consider buying an EV. Kyle was standing in a parking lot with a race to Vegas about a year ago, and he said, "I want to prove you can drive an EV anywhere!" I already drank the juice, but I backed up the video and turned the volume up. She perked up, and 6 months later, we now own Jeeves. My silver painted "gray hair" car that drives me places. I bought my car because of the content that you guys put out that is so informative and teaches people who know nothing about an EV and what it is like. I think it's cool that my referral helped maybe buy the Cybertruck early, and I can't wait to see what truck arrives to California first. Thank you for what you guys do and the content that you put out. Also, I bet you're excited to have Plaiddington back!

We have an identical Plaid Model X but with a yoke that I love. Wife hates it so it’s probably going away as soon as the wheel becomes available again. Great video Dave!

Wow- ever since you gave your X up for testing out there I just assumed, for sure, that Colton would’ve done the full paint correction and ceramic coating making it better than new before Kyle gave it back 😢
My first ev experience was when a bandmate bought a Model X when they first came out. We took the band all around Western Washington and up to Vancouver. Loved that car! I always sat up front and talked tech with Chuck. Now I'm driving a Bolt I got a year ago. You seem to be kind of happy to get yours back!

Maybe you’ve already been there but another place to stop on I25 is Johnson’s Corner. It’s been over 5 years since I was out there but it’s a good truck stop/diner with giant cinnamon rolls. Not sure if they have chargers, just a local restaurant.

Ask Kyle about his hit job about FSD that he did to make Tesla look bad. Especially when he pooh poohed it and said it was not desirable. Ask him. Its on youtube. Its why I have blackballed that guy. Refuse to watch. I turned it off.
You might as well blackball me too then and stop watching my channel. Our job is to report on what we see and provide our unvarnished observations which is what we do with no other motivations you insinuate.

When did he do a hit job? The last vid I saw they did a trip through NYC (which is very tough) using 11.3 and it didn't perform all that well. I mean it was obvious. 12.3 is a massive leap though and Id like to see them try again.
