I have a 2022 Model X Plaid and would like to add what I do not like: one thing primarily e.g. the windshield is so big that on sunny days it's uncomfortable. The visors are OK but not as good for blocking the sun as traditional visors. I made it much more bearable by adding darker tint above, all the way down to the visors. I traded in a model S because of having to haul our grandkids around, as well as older friends who had a had time getting out of the back of a model S. Most times I drive alone, feeling like a kid again (I'm 76) with a car that can beat any other SUV. No regrets at all buying it except for the timing. If I'd waited longer it would have been cheaper and I would have gotten the swivel screen. A tip perhaps you didn't notice---I discovered the back storage has 2 levels. You can position it lower that the floor (6-8 inches) and still have storage underneath. Things like grocery bags sit very secure in this lower space. Enjoyed the video. Thx
I have driven both model X and Y for quite some time and I can easily justify the price difference. Overall vehicle & cabin size, comfort level, advantages from the adaptive air suspension including adjustable ground clearance, way better quality seats, super cool falcon wings, overall quietness, front seat passenger openness, dramatic acceleration, better general handling, Yolk steering, 17 inch screen, automatic soft closing doors, larger cargo space, attractive 6 seats option and probably several more..
Once the Chinese designed Model Y is out... I would say it would close most gaps with model X maybe delivering 90% of the features, with few addition ones like ambient lighting. The new model Y would definitely share the same design with the new model 3, with significant improvements on the following 1) ventilated seat and potential sport seat; 2) better designed steering wheel with horn option as well as second row screens; 3) much smoother ride with both improved suspension and acoustic glasses, this almost certainly will bring model Y to the same comfort level with model X; 4) more frequent updates to the drive systems vs model X and 5) less moving parts means it break less often.
I'll put my thoughts on my new Model Y on the board here for others to see. I have had zero issues with it since taking delivery, no issues to start and we've already driven it about 450 miles and have spent $17 charging it at home. I've never owned a new car or even a used car that was even close to this expensive when it was new. So, I'm not jaded by nice luxury cars. The Model Y is hands down the best car I've ever driven and obviously the best vehicle I've ever owned. You can shop around if you want, but I doubt you'll find another manufacturer more committed to safety and continued upgrades via software than Tesla. I'd be more than willing to put up with a few issues to stick with Tesla, but the good thing so far is, there are none.
We have both the X and the Y. We love them both, I mean really love them. We’ve had our X for 9 months. We find the X worth the price difference. We also prefer the Yoke. We hold a very early CyberTruck reservation but adore the X so much I doubt we take delivery of one. We simply got tired of waiting for the CyberTruck and pulled the trigger on an X, and just love it that much that we plan to keep it.
Great review! I have a Model S w/yoke and agree completely that after one gets used to it, it is far more intuitive and natural than a round wheel. My wife has a Model Y which I drive from time to time and its round wheel actually feels a bit awkward for the first few minutes. It is indeed a relief when I get back to the yoke in my S.
We have a Model Y and are seriously considering upgrading to the X almost entirely for the falcon doors with our 2 kids in car seats. This has been an immensely helpful video and comments section. Thank you!
Model X's huge windshield is what keeps me from moving to Model Y or any other car. It provides amazing views on road trips through mountain roads, national parks as well as downtown areas.
Regarding the yoke. I have been driving the Model S with that same yoke for almost a year. I also prefer the yoke over a wheel for two reasons: 1. It's more comfortable than the wheel, especially on long trips. 2. I like the better visibility above the yoke. The major drawback is the horn, which is not a "yoke shape" problem. The horn being a button on the side is a major safety problem. It is impossible to find the horn in an emergency. More so if the wheel is turned. In an emergency situation, you can't afford the time to think about where the horn is. It needs to be dead simple and automatic, and it's not. It's happened to me several times.
I would love to see you do a little mini series on just autopilot. And then lease or rent other vehicles with autopilot and do some side by side comparisons with all the autopilot features. My wife and I have had our 2022 model x for about 6 months now. We both love the car as well. We have had some minor issues and have our first service appointment to fix a weird seat belt issue in one of the back seats and a rattle either in the driver side falcon door or the seat next to it. We had mobile service try to come and fix the seat belt issue at our house and they scuffed the area around it so they opted to put a whole new seat in at our service appointment, I think it’s the same one you went to actually since we live in NW Ohio we’re going to the Toledo service center. Besides that I would agree our only “regret” is the price. We bought at the absolute worst time due to Tesla’s price cuts. We opted for white paint, 20 inch wheels, 6 seats and cream interior which at the time of purchase was around $130k, completely insane for a car. The same car today costs about $106k which is unfortunate, but oh well, live and learn. Hopefully after this service visit we wont have any issues like your X hasn’t. One thing I would note is the cream seats are still a pretty light color and I’ve had no issues keeping them clean at all and they really don’t show dirt in my experience, maybe something to consider.
Yeah we were pretty lucky with the price. We ordered well before any price increases, and even today, we payed slightly less than if we were to buy the same spec today. We go to the Clarkston service center, but I have been to Toledo in the past as well.
The no stalks is a massive deal breaker for me. In New Zealand you legally have to use your signals around roundabouts and the signal again when exiting. Now how am I suppose to press the correct signal button when the steering wheel is upside down?
It’s by feel. The Yoke has a definite up and downside that is easily felt with your hands. We have many roundabouts here in San Diego as well with more installed every month.
How small are the roundabouts in NZ? Here in the Netherlands we have fairly small roundabouts and I noticed (Note: I do not have a yoke) that I do not have the wheel upside down when rounding the roundabouts. We are also obliged to use turnsignals at least when exiting the roundabout.
As a Model Y owner I'd say between the two vehicles, I mostly like the captain's seats in the X. I also like the 17 inch screen, the tilt function and the way you can move objects on the screen. I'm 6 feet / 2 inches and while the Model Y is plenty spacious the X is more roomy when someone is sitting behind the driver. As far as overall storage....that's not an issue for me since I drive it 100% of the time and my kids are grown and on their own...so it's jet me and the wife. Road trips are a breeze. We pack up, throw the Modern Spare tire in the back and still have plenty of room in the frunk and sub trunk.
I'm sure you've seen Kyle Connor's OutOfSpec videos about how terrible the CCS charging experience can be. For that reason alone, I would not recommend buying any CCS EV today. Chargepoint is reliable and is expanding their public charging presence but it will take some time. They also leave management up to the site host and many of those hosts do not have the expertise to maintain the systems. EA, EVgo, Blink and all the others have significant reliability problems and are just not managing their networks adequately. They've had lots of time to get it right and just are not trying hard enough. This will change in a few years, either by these networks giving up and partnering with Tesla using the magic dock or by them working harder on their reliability and maintenance.
I remember watching the video where you picked up the Model X and pointed out mentally that the seats would be annoying, the price was steep and that you'd probably get rid of it for the next toy. Seems like things are going to plan lol, with the exception of the crazy amount of service visits. Great video!
Very nice review. Totally like your enthusiasm for the yoke. I have a 2022 MSLR and also love the yoke and agree with your other review points about the suspension and other features. I love our MSLR! One feature that you noted and that we have enjoyed is the remarkable efficiency difference relative to our previous two MS's. We are getting greater than 4 miles/kW, which makes our car incredibly efficient on long trips with the 405 mile range with the 19" wheels.
We have a Model 3P and a Model X Plaid and the X is definitely more plush. The first thing we did was pay $700 to replace the yoke with a wheel because preference and yes you get to keep the yoke for the future if you sell the vehicle. Although the front seats are much more comfortable than the Model 3 and the rear has more leg room, the X's rear seats being captains chairs are too close to the doors and myself and others who've ridden in the back find themselves leaning toward the center of the vehicle because our shoulder and elbow don't fit unless we roll down the window and hang them outside. I really wish the second row's captain's chairs were closer together or adjustable side to side because there's no reason for a giant gap between them forcing you into the door. Also, not a fan of the second row's seat buckets where the back and bottom are fixed like a racecar seat without a hinge. They don't move forward very far for 3rd row access and they hardly recline. Not a car you'd want to be stuck in the second or third row for a long trip in unless you were driving or riding shotgun. It is stupid fast though and that makes up for many shortcomings. 😆
thank you for being honest with your review of the M X, most people on YT aren't so I really appreciate it. I always say if I ever won the lottery I would get a X. but currently I would get a 3 or Y,.. Thanks again for your info on this video
I just picked up a 19 raven for 45k! Love it! I lost some features moving from the Y but it's totally worth it for the size and huge upgrade in ease of access and luxury
Maaaan that's tough! Cybertruck has some really nice improvements and steer by wire is sooo amazing... But if you don't want to use a truck bed, X is probably better (and cheaper)
Model X is the most underrated Tesla. The 2021 refresh is pretty sweet, these drive like a dream. Unfortunately Uncle Elon dropped his pants and keeps adjusting market price. You can barely get one under tax credit max, but ONLY ugly Stealth Gray.
You get so much respect for me for mentioning that Tesla charged you for services that you can get at Discount Tire for FREE. I do all my rotations there. They've replaced TPS sensors for free when they swap winter tires. When a tire gets a bubble, its only a $20 warranty fee for a new tire. My biggest worry about Cybertruck is tires. I want to take it to the mud park to do videos, but, do I really want to spend $400/tire for off-road tires that I then have to swap off? As a rental, are renters going to chew through tires?
Both me and my wife have a model X (a model 2020 and a model 2022). I agree that quality control could be better, the 2020 had almost no issues (very minor) but 2022 one had more and some fit and finish on the interior had to be adjusted. I have no idea about the panel gaps, I've never paid attention to them for any car and I'll never do, since they don't bother me at all (I only learned about panel gaps looking at youtube videos...). Apart from that the cars are amazing and in my opinion worth the price.
Fully charged how many miles? And say for example it gets 300 miles fully charged if you drive 300 miles will you be able to go say 200miles or what does that look like?
Thanks for the video- I really want to own a Tesla but accepted delivery of my Rivian R1S. Build quality is ridiculously good- so solid and luxurious. Really hope to get my wife the Y or X.
Nice honest summary. Always appreciated. My personal feeling is that 6-figures for a car is a luxury. And when I am buying a luxury item I think you have to pay cash. Financing something you don't NEED, seems like a poor choice. It is refreshing to see that cost is a significant consideration for you in determining if you regret the purchase. I think you can make a final determination on that once you see how much you can get for the Model X when your Cybertruck comes in.
Thanks. Yeah I didn't finance the entire thing, but that's a good way to look at it. Cost has always been top consideration for our vehicle purchases, but for something like a 3/Y it's like "wow I'm getting so much" and I guess the premium for the X doesn't bring enough extra, for me, to justify the large price increase.
We've driven electric for over 5 years and it's never been a problem. We lose power often so we have solar and batteries at home. Or we could drive over to a charger if needed
@@DirtyTesla Thank you for the info. Now I know to tell the Tesla service center in advance "If it's a tire issue, just call me and I will take it to Discount" if I ever have to take my Cybertruck in for repair. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out problems on ICE cars, but CT is going to have that air suspension, which I am looking forward to, but which might also become a repair issue. The nightmare would be if the air tank goes bad right when it gets out of warranty. Like a head gasket on an American 4-cylinder lol
You mentioned cleaning the seats with baby wipes is a little difficult. I would highly recommend using Turtle Wax Luxe Leather. I use it on my white interior Model Y frequently, and I've never had any issues with stains or trouble cleaning. A clean microfiber towel and Luxe Leather will easily clean anything up!
How does the app work with coordinating multiple Tesla’s? I haven’t seen any videos for people considering a second one. Like if you have your phone in your pocket and walk up to either does it work automatically? Or do you need to swap to the other somehow? Are driver profiles shared? How does it work with having multiple phones? ( like if your wife drives a model Y but you drive the Model X. Do you have to swap profiles each time you get in, etc? Sorry for so many questions, you get the idea though. Might be nice to see a video addressing the ebb and flow of multiple users vs owning multiple cars. I’m sure it’s all been mentioned somewhere in passing, but I can’t find it, lol. :) Thanks for the awesome videos! Got to drive a tesla finally ( model Y performance) was an absolute blast and solidified that we’re buying one in the near future. Which brings me to my last question, is there a referral program still in effect? If so, how can I get you credit? ( since your videos have been my primary source of information)
It works automatically with both cars, it's really nice. If you need to interact with them in the app, you can swipe side to side to change between cars. Each profile is synced to our phone. So when I walk up to my X or Y, it gets ready for me, and same if my wife walks up, it gets ready for her. There used to be a vehicle referral program (link is in the description) but as of now it's only for solar in the US. Thanks for trying to use the referral and thanks for watching :)
I’m assuming all those service issues didn’t cost you a penny? And that Tesla provided loaners when necessary and in general didn’t take long periods of time to fix each issue?
If you need to take your hand off the wheel in order to reach the turn signal stock, then it is designed wrong. I've never driven a car or a cargo van, which had that problem.

I wish the Model X had an option to come without flappy doors. No roof racks / kayaks on top :(. Though the front space in the X is a LOT better than the Y.
I like how you didn't cover FSD at all and just compared the EV as a car only. IMO it's the FSD that really sets Tesla apart from every EV out there and is personally the main reason I'd consider a Tesla over all the other EVs on the market.
I mean I have like a bajillion FSD videos already th-cam.com/video/ZmzvGFiCTB4/w-d-xo.html But imo it is too expensive for what you're getting. Base autopilot of course is amazing and included free, but many companies are starting to include similar features. I love AP and FSD, but my wife barely uses it, and for her car, it's not an important factor in the decision to buy the car.
With how unreliable the charging network is outside of the Tesla network in the US, I wouldn't even consider another brand. Tesla is the only way to go for now.
The model Y LR starts at 50,240 and with the tax credit would be sub 43K. That's actually cheaper than the model 3 LR because it "only" gets 3750 tax credit. Model Y for the win IMO. Yes, I'd like to have an X, but like you, am budget constrained.
Just got my x two weeks ago.... with damaged sensors an not opening Falcon wing doors , it started living with us already in the Service Center,.... i am fucked up with the car.... i have a Y as a Loaner...this is a cool car..
How can you consider other EVs while knowing you cannot travel easily without a reliable supercharger network as Tesla's? Tesla's supercharger network is a no-brainer, whatever features and quality of other EV brands.
@@DirtyTesla OK, just a glance, then go back to Tesla. 😀 Seriously, even as a second car you charge at home, from time to time you will need to go further, and since you never use standard public chargers, you will have to figure out how they work and what subscription/member card is required, and it will quickly become a nightmare, under pouring rain, with your kids crying in the back of the car, wanting to go the bathroom, while the car is finally starting to charge at 50 kw... Think about it twice.
Your intentional spelling error and the comments got me to watch We Are The Millers, and I enjoyed it. Thanks. Next time, write "ragrets" (put it in quotes).
Try the KIA EV9, much, MUCH cheaper. And roomier, especially if you have kids. You might not get the range but it's a really solid car with a lot of bells and whistles. Saying all that though, I'm still going with the Model X.
Just got the X (HW4 - no USS or Vision yet!) and for roundabouts the indicator Buttons suck being topwise, as the directions reverse in a 180 turned yoke. Super counterintuitive. Other than that, great car.
Have you had the front suspension issues that almost all legacy Xs have? P.S. I still absolutely love my X, after 2-1/2 years & 41K miles. I'm not trading it in, especially with FSD improving almost every day.
For that price point, Tesla needs to include a powered FRUNK. Elon are you listening? The new LR X is now eligible for the $7500 tax credit so a new 2024 for $72,500. That's a significant price drop.
Now I'm not one of those guys who says 'I told you so' but I say when you got the vehicle that white seats with kids was probably a 'sub optimal' option. As always a nice informative video.
Ha yeah. It's actually not them making the seats dirty. It's the front seats that get dirty. Their seats have a cover on them to protect them from the car seats.
Should have just bought a used model x. I got one for $53k with 53,000 miles. 2020 - Raven refresh. Literally amazing and similar in price to Model Y. Just buy used people via Tesla. Best option.
Great video Dirty, tks for sharing the update. As far as cross-shopping, definitely recommend it but do your own research the dealers are clueless and will tell you anything. :( Also hard to trust 3rd party charging networks for road trips, so that’s problematic unless you have alternative options for road trips and just want the daily driver. All are fantastic options for that if you have home charging.
An EV9 would be a good option if you could get one later this year. Rivian R1S too but the quad motor ones are expensive with the new pricing, so maybe the base $78k Rivian dual motor standard range when available but that could be after cybertruck is out.
🤣"...I have my wife - to keep me in check..." I personally believe the Y should also have the falcon wing doors. It seems like the falcon wings on the X is about the only reason to choose it over the Y. I'd say you should maybe consider trying a Rivian. However, I kinda personally prefer your thought of trading in your X for a Cybertruck.
Now that the long range X qualifies for the $7500 Federal tax credit, and my state adds an additional $1800 credit the price comes in at $70K, which makes the X a lot more attractive.
You keep mentioning cost issue for the X, just buy a used X that is 2-3 years old and it will still look new while costing basically the same as a Y. Tesla also gives an extra year of warranty on their used X inventory.
After owning an older used X, it would be hard to recommend for me unless the price is exceptionally low. Suspension and other issues on older Xs would make it extra expensive out of warranty
@@DirtyTesla Used X that's 2-3 years old is $50k cheaper than new, factor in $5000-$10k for future repair costs after warranty expires in two years, still saving $40 - $45k. The suspension issue Tesla has a service bulletin out that replaces control arms free of charge now.
Wow, service that many times in less than a year??? That is not normal at all. I was thinking of getting an X plaid but man all these videos are discouraging.

Does your X have ventilated seats? That's something that I wish our 3 and Y had.
Yes they're great!
Thank you for the video! I needed this final insight prior to purchasing
Great deal, enjoy!
What do you prefer X or cybertruck‽ im no sure which to get? I don't tow or use bed truck but love both!
How much are you paying for insurance on it and what is the Michigan yearly registration fee for a vehicle of that price?
Clearly many people have not seen We're the Millers😂
Great Video! Thanks for the pros and cons!
I RAGRET lotsa things. Not my X!😂
Regret. Sorry to be picky.
@@thefish5861 Read the video title.
We are on our 3rd MX 😁 and counting, no regrets.

Great video, and it’s very welcome as we have 3s and a Y, but are waiting, waiting on a RHD X. 🤣
Car is so complicated that I don't amazed for single second at all about serving it need
1:27 love the paint scheme
My very rich friend avoided the overprice model X and bought a MY and a porche taycan !
are the yoke haptic buttons lit at night or do you have to blindly find them?
Both me and my wife have a model X (a model 2020 and a model 2022). I agree that quality control could be better, the 2020 had almost no issues (very minor) but 2022 one had more and some fit and finish on the interior had to be adjusted. I have no idea about the panel gaps, I've never paid attention to them for any car and I'll never do, since they don't bother me at all (I only learned about panel gaps looking at youtube videos...). Apart from that the cars are amazing and in my opinion worth the price.
How are those both cars doing ?
Fully charged how many miles? And say for example it gets 300 miles fully charged if you drive 300 miles will you be able to go say 200miles or what does that look like?
Thanks for the video- I really want to own a Tesla but accepted delivery of my Rivian R1S. Build quality is ridiculously good- so solid and luxurious. Really hope to get my wife the Y or X.
R1S looks amazing, congrats!
@@DirtyTesla thanks!!
Why would you take your hand off the wheel to use the turn signal? I have never had to do this in any car I owned or used.
I’d be down to get a yoke if they put the steer by wire tech in it that they have in the truck.
Cost has always been top consideration for our vehicle purchases, but for something like a 3/Y it's like "wow I'm getting so much" and I guess the premium for the X doesn't bring enough extra, for me, to justify the large price increase.
come on 100k!
Thanks 🙏 I play your videos 100% too when I see them to help that algo! 🤣 🤣
@@DirtyTesla champ 🔥💪🏼
NO RAGRETS (We're the Millers) haha
Typoooooo in the Title! :D
Edit: I fully respect you just leaving it in ! 🤣
It's not a typo. Google "no ragrets"
Please test the Mercedes EQE and the BMW iX
Did you trade the X for the truck yet? Im actually thinking of getting the X over the Y
What if there is a power failure due to weather and you can’t charge it??
We've driven electric for over 5 years and it's never been a problem. We lose power often so we have solar and batteries at home. Or we could drive over to a charger if needed
@@DirtyTesla batteries?
What is the appeal of the cybertruck? I dont understand
I would’ve like to know the issues you had with the car and were the common with other X owners
Man the cost of rotating and balance at Tesla is wild! 😝
Yeah, they don't want you to do it there, so they make it stupidly expensive lol
@@DirtyTesla That’s a great way to dissuade people haha. Discount is the way no doubt.
How is the tire wear?
Thanks for the awesome videos!
No regrets getting rid of my Mercedes E350 for a Tesla Model Y. Once you go Tesla you never go back!
I’m assuming all those service issues didn’t cost you a penny?
And that Tesla provided loaners when necessary and in general didn’t take long periods of time to fix each issue?
If you need to take your hand off the wheel in order to reach the turn signal stock, then it is designed wrong. I've never driven a car or a cargo van, which had that problem.
like no stock better, really? She clearly had to pause and think about which direction to swipe on the floor at 2:44...

I mean I have like a bajillion FSD videos already th-cam.com/video/ZmzvGFiCTB4/w-d-xo.html
But imo it is too expensive for what you're getting. Base autopilot of course is amazing and included free, but many companies are starting to include similar features. I love AP and FSD, but my wife barely uses it, and for her car, it's not an important factor in the decision to buy the car.
Try out the Hyundai or Kia. I really want an unbiased opinion. We are considering a second Ev. Thanks
With how unreliable the charging network is outside of the Tesla network in the US, I wouldn't even consider another brand. Tesla is the only way to go for now.
@@strykerace yep
The model Y LR starts at 50,240 and with the tax credit would be sub 43K. That's actually cheaper than the model 3 LR because it "only" gets 3750 tax credit. Model Y for the win IMO. Yes, I'd like to have an X, but like you, am budget constrained.
U can try a id4
What is cost difference to insure X vs. Y?
About $60 more in 6 months for the X
Just got my x two weeks ago.... with damaged sensors an not opening Falcon wing doors , it started living with us already in the Service Center,.... i am fucked up with the car.... i have a Y as a Loaner...this is a cool car..
my car was just parked to the left of those stairs @ 0:03 week ago😊
Congrats! You are officially youtube superstar
The problem with Rivian is service. Most places are far from the owner. Very far.
How can you consider other EVs while knowing you cannot travel easily without a reliable supercharger network as Tesla's? Tesla's supercharger network is a no-brainer, whatever features and quality of other EV brands.
I think as a commuter/second car, another brand's EV is perfectly fine. Meaning, if you can do all your charging at home, at least give them a look.
@@DirtyTesla OK, just a glance, then go back to Tesla. 😀
Seriously, even as a second car you charge at home, from time to time you will need to go further, and since you never use standard public chargers, you will have to figure out how they work and what subscription/member card is required, and it will quickly become a nightmare, under pouring rain, with your kids crying in the back of the car, wanting to go the bathroom, while the car is finally starting to charge at 50 kw... Think about it twice.
Visibility because of yoke?? The better, regular shape is not in my line of sight at all when driving. Th touch buttons are also objectively worse.
Your intentional spelling error and the comments got me to watch We Are The Millers, and I enjoyed it. Thanks. Next time, write "ragrets" (put it in quotes).
🤣 Glad you liked it. Bringing joy in unexpected ways
Try the KIA EV9, much, MUCH cheaper. And roomier, especially if you have kids. You might not get the range but it's a really solid car with a lot of bells and whistles. Saying all that though, I'm still going with the Model X.
Thank you Sir for your opinion and wisdom because you hone through a year inowning and driving an electric car
How about a nicely used 2020/2021 Model X vs a brand new Model Y? Seems in my country prices can get pretty close sometimes..
I would 100% take a new Y over a pre refresh X
Just got the X (HW4 - no USS or Vision yet!) and for roundabouts the indicator Buttons suck being topwise, as the directions reverse in a 180 turned yoke. Super counterintuitive. Other than that, great car.
Did you notice any degradation of your battery? Mine seems lost 10%. I'm just now 307 on 100% charge
A bit, our battery estimates ~325 at 100%
Can you shed more light on the service issues you had?
I go into great detail here th-cam.com/video/sEsmKINb84c/w-d-xo.html
Have you had the front suspension issues that almost all legacy Xs have?
P.S. I still absolutely love my X, after 2-1/2 years & 41K miles. I'm not trading it in, especially with FSD improving almost every day.
No, we haven't had any work on the suspension.
@@DirtyTesla Great, I'm on my third set, hopefully the last. It's still a free fix. Thanks!
Problems with the half shafts?
For that price point, Tesla needs to include a powered FRUNK. Elon are you listening? The new LR X is now eligible for the $7500 tax credit so a new 2024 for $72,500. That's a significant price drop.
Now I'm not one of those guys who says 'I told you so' but I say when you got the vehicle that white seats with kids was probably a 'sub optimal' option. As always a nice informative video.
Ha yeah. It's actually not them making the seats dirty. It's the front seats that get dirty. Their seats have a cover on them to protect them from the car seats.
GO CHRIS!!
You guys should try the Mercedes EQB 350 4matic
Should have just bought a used model x. I got one for $53k with 53,000 miles. 2020 - Raven refresh. Literally amazing and similar in price to Model Y. Just buy used people via Tesla. Best option.
Hey glad to be 1000th like on this video
Thank you 👍
@@DirtyTesla nah!! thank you, for all your hard work. I’ve followed you since the day one
Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention.
F-150 lightning would be perfect. It would be a pleasure getting it dirty 😅
I have 2022 Model X and had no need to go to service.
How many cupholders does the ex have?
2 in each row, but there is a cup shaped area in the door pocket up front too, though you'd want those drinks to be closed when in that spot.
An EV9 would be a good option if you could get one later this year. Rivian R1S too but the quad motor ones are expensive with the new pricing, so maybe the base $78k Rivian dual motor standard range when available but that could be after cybertruck is out.
🤣"...I have my wife - to keep me in check..."
I personally believe the Y should also have the falcon wing doors. It seems like the falcon wings on the X is about the only reason to choose it over the Y.
I'd say you should maybe consider trying a Rivian. However, I kinda personally prefer your thought of trading in your X for a Cybertruck.
And what would you think about the X if you paid $80,000? With a $7,500 rebate? I would truly like to know. That would be a great video.
Seriously. It's such a better buy at that price with credit
But I'd miss the 6 seat, that's definitely part of the x magic
@@DirtyTesla agreed….
But you had a model X prior to this one, so maybe you could have done a comparison video of the old model X and the new Model X
Try the R1S!
We took our model y to service 5 times in 2 months😅
My X is just over 200k km now! (Q4-2019 lots of rentals)
Wow, service that many times in less than a year??? That is not normal at all. I was thinking of getting an X plaid but man all these videos are discouraging.
