Sometimes... I wish I could run test pipes In California and not have to worry about the massive ticket I might get. Then again sometimes I don't cause it stinks pretty bad and its bad for air quality as well. I would personally want some high flow cats if I lived in an area where they would pass emissions. My car came with test pipes installed and the cats in the trunk when I bought it used. I put the cats back on a few weeks later and not only did my catback exhaust sound a lot better/cleaner and less (insanely loud) but the stinky gas smell was obviously gone. There's kind of a downside of making your modern g37 stink like its an old classic pick up truck when you remove the cats. Considering an engine is basically an air pump and these parts in the package just make everything less restrictive you’re really going to need a better intake(oem is still good but still needs to breathe more) and with more air you’re gonna need a better flowing exhaust then a tune to really Complement this package
Mokujo you have a different plenum. You will need our HR package for a simple bolt on install. Otherwise you can swap the lower plenum and rails from a VHR. It’s a pretty popular conversion these days.

Yes, you absolutely would need a custom tune to get the advertised power out of this pack. Seeing as how the kit is now $1900 if you don't get the core refund, add $800 or so for the Dyno tune and typically around $750-$1000 for the install, you're looking at $3500-$4000 out the door. It would be counter-productive to not upgrade the catback as well while you are at it, so tack on another $1200-$1600. You're also going to need a CAI as well, so add another $400-$600, plus installation. $5500-$6500 for FBO with this kit, and you're getting probably ~340 WHP. So, you gotta ask yourself, "Is it worth paying $1000 per

Can the VHR37 heads be ported and polished?
Sure, any competent machine shop should be able to work with the heads off of a VHR although they flow pretty well from the factory.
Considering an engine is basically an air pump and these parts in the package just make everything less restrictive you’re really going to need a better intake(oem is still good but still needs to breathe more) and with more air you’re gonna need a better flowing exhaust then a tune to really Complement this package
This'll work with any of the V36 models, right? My G35 is a V36 with a VQ35HR so I'd assume...
Mokujo you have a different plenum. You will need our HR package for a simple bolt on install. Otherwise you can swap the lower plenum and rails from a VHR. It’s a pretty popular conversion these days.
also curious......
Your G35 HR Sedan will use this package. It's essentially the same kit but it includes the HR plenum. >>>> www.z1motorsports.com/z1-products/z1-motorsports/z1-vq35hr-na-power-package-p-11417.html
Anything for the vq35hr?
This kit is for the HR and VHR motors.
This will fit fine with the 2008 g35 sedan?
You will need to following linked package for your HR G.

Us awd guys need parts to
how much will I be refunded for sending back the stick plenum
Except currently the upper and lower plenum are on back order for 3 to 4 months.
can i get HFC'S instead of test pipes ?
Yes
Sorry I am a noob just getting into this game. I use my car as a daily driver will this have a issue when passing smog?
Yes sir it will.
Lol i like how they say 400hp but don't include cats for us Cali people ): would love to have one set up and installed in my Z :)
"Off-road use only"
will it work on a g35
I'm holding out for a stillen supercharger although this is a nice set up.
Do you think the super charge would be easier on the engine ?
No ones going off-roading
they mean its not for public road use 🤦
Aibert521 you don’t get my comment buddy if u did you wouldn’t sound so dumb 😂
That Wonder bro its hard to tell if a nigga is sarcastic or not on the internet chill 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Aibert521 I you should chill with your racist slur
That's not what this kit is for. It's for track use.
After installing all of this would i need to tune my Z so that its compatible with the mod?
400 hp. Street legal pkg. ?
I bought this, I’m just missing the tune and man... day and night difference on my 370!
where r u from? I want to get this but i'm from CA
Can you tune it just like that with that package & still get 400hp or should I change injectors and fuel pump too?
@@WiiGotchaa You just need a good exhaust on and this kit and tune it. Should make close to the 400 crank
Will these fit on 08 g35s?
Tesseract Comics for the HR you need this kit: www.z1motorsports.com/z1-products/z1-motorsports/z1-vq35hr-na-power-package-p-11417.html
@@Agenthutchins thank you.
Will this kit pass smog in Cali?
fuck no
Will this work on my 2015 q70s 3.7 if so I will buy now
Big King I don’t think it’s necessary for the Q man to be honest. Check out my channel. I’m working on a Q50 right now and will get these numbers without spending the time and money to install this setup. This kit assumes you already have a cold air intake, catback and a tune. There are guys getting close to these numbers with drop in filters, high flow cats and a muffler delete in the Q50.
So this kit will delete the CATS and I will not be able to pass emissions tests?
That's why It's an off road set
I run on art pipes dose this fit ??
Yes, but you will need DE flanged 350Z ART pipes. If you have VHR flanged ART pipes, they will not work.
@@Z1Motorsports23 I have 2013 g37 it's not work with that ?
QX70 ❤
Price 2017 370z
Do one for the 350z HR
We have a similar package for the HR found HERE: www.z1motorsports.com/z1-products/z1-motorsports/z1-vq35hr-na-power-package-p-11417.html
Will this work on a m37 ???
We have not yet been able to confirm fitment of the headers on the M37's, however we suspect it will fit. The upper plenum well for sure fit.
