My 370Z has been my absolute favorite car I have ever owned, and I have owned quite a few over the 45+ years that I have been driving. It just gives good performance, especially as a street car. I don't ever track mine and it's totally stock other than the 10mm lowering kit from Nissan back when it was offered. My 2014 370Z is over 10 years old now and it only has 20,000 miles on it and it looks, smells, and most importantly DRIVES like it's a brand new car. I know these motors are supposed to be great with regular maintenance, and so far, mine is still like brand new, although I have kept it garage kept since day one. I have also religiously have done the required and suggested maintenance since I have owned it. One of the best values on the aftermarket scene, if you want a great first sports car and something you can definitely upgrade as there are so many aftermarket parts and accessories, you won't be disappointed with a Z. I prefer the 370Z over the new "Z", but that's just me. I just like the looks of the 370Z over the new Z and the seats in the new Z Nismo are way too tight! Great for a track day, horrible for everyday use. I am not a big person and I could barely fit in the new Nismo Z seats. And I have had race seats before and they were not nearly as uncomfortable as those new Nismo Z seats. The regular Z seats are fine as the are essentially the same seats as the 370Z seats, just in different colors and maybe upgraded fabrics or whatever. They look pretty much identical. I did a complete walk around of the Z, inside and out and under the hood. I was shocked at how much they recycled from the 370Z into the new Z. They must have just used the exact same under pinnings and put a new body on it. The interior looks almost identical from the front seats back, including the doors and door pulls, seats, floor board, and rear area. Almost identical. You can tell that Nissan just "refreshed" the 370Z with a new dash board, steering wheel, and engine. I still prefer my naturally aspirated 370Z over the new one. They are priced way too high. For that money, I'll upgrade to a Toyota Supra, which I want to do at some point anyway.
The 370Z is my dream car✌🏽️. After 6 years of ownership my only complain is about electrical issues . fan control module , camshaft position sensor x 2, crankshaf position sensor and recently i have to change my starter😭 . the car is basically stock only full NISMO suspension , K&N drop in filter and AAM short tail. it's the 2014 face-lift
Owned mine for over 7yrs. I'm ashamed to say its been off the road for a couple of years now and I'm just getting to the point I can concentrate on cars again. There's nothing wrong with mine apart from a couple paint correction issues but its such a solid car. Just turned 42k miles and 13yrs old. So tempted to get a Z1 supercharger kit.
09' Z no issues with the fuel arm. did have a failure on the engine (spun bearing) swapped it. upgraded the csc to a JWT one, it worked great! but with the engine swap I ended up cooking it over time. doing some heat management this winter, along with a T56 transmission.
My 2011 Nismo has no of those problems, but it has P0300 come and go off and on. This code makes me go crazy. I already spent 2k to replace parts with OEM such as: new spark plugs, new ignition coils, crankshaft sensors, pcv valves, gas cap, evap sensors, Throttle body O rings, new engine oil, new transmission fluid. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I DO TO MAKE THIS CODE GO AWAY??
Check that the ignition coil plugs aren’t crossed. If this happened before you touched anything then check the harness itself. You’ve changed a lot that would typically fix it. If it all looks good then do a compression test.

Also intakes do admin 3 inch intakes and tune he gets down for vqs. As far as the fuel pump issue, just get a high pressure fuel pump from z1
It’s gonna come off rude and maybe it is… why do you care so much lmao? If someone puts bumpers on and calls it a build then just move on. We can all agree that ain’t it. The only NISMOs that are worth it to me are ~14. No autos, number plates, and they made rare options in the 14’s. They’re awesome. The 2015+ are dope, but lost their heritage (though I like the body style better). I haven’t heard that exhaust but I’ll check it out! 370z don’t have HPFP- these cars use the in-tank LPFP. Moncef is a dope dude. I’d consider tuning with him on a build some day. Jon has taken care of me and done all my motors proper! Go with a tuner that makes the most sense for you.
I have a friend who owned and tracked both. He said the 370Z was comprehensively a better car out of the box. Just look for a clean example with an accurate maintenance record (if that’s even possible).
