- Here we have some pretty badly stained cloth seats in a Jeep Liberty. I wanted to show you guys how you don't necessarily need fancy equipment to detail your car and keep it clean. All we're using here are some basic cleaners, a scrub brush and a shop vac to shampoo the upholstery. This is definitely a simple and easy way to get great results cleaning your soiled cloth seats. Enjoy!

Hello, could I use a carpet shampoo vacuum for my cloth seats using the cleaning products ? Or vacuum only ?
Thanks man,
Awesome thanks
Where do u oj bu u the small steamer? Thanks
Wow!
@Luxury Car Detailing in the Hamptons Good tools, may I know if it's ok for you to review our foam cannon S V3.0?Thanks in advance!😊
What's the fastest time have anyone who cleans medium filthy interior of a car done? Trying to improve my time on inside?
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat
What cleaner are you using?
You said 4 in 1… what do you mean? I looked for links but cannot locate. Clearly I am not great at TH-cam but liked the video and need to clean our car asap! Thanks for the help…
4 to 1 refers to the dilution ratio of cleaning product. As in, 4 parts water to 1 part cleaner mixed in a spray bottle. Straight cleaner would be too strong.
Do you need to remove the filter from the shop vac for this method?
Not the filter but the bag for the junk. Afterwards you will have water in the bottom. Rinse that out and out back the bag so you can use it as a normal vaccumer😊
That’s a lot or Wear and tear scrubbin like that imo. Mean it wasn’t that bad. Regular soap diluted in water will do the same. I’d you have to scrub some soft scrub is fine. Used to detail for a while and hot and a little soap will do wonders. And I don’t know if you vacuumed before but that’s the very first step.
Thank you, just what I was looking for
I just use all purpose cleaner and a sponge.
have you tried a little laundry detergent?
I haven't, but that's a great idea.
Does this work to get odors out ? Trying to detail my trucks interior
Use chemcal guys from walmart it looks with green liquid it should help. I hope it works for you
that's quite saturated with water no?
10:1 is good for APC’s
can i use normal vaccum cleaner instead of shop vac?
A normal vacuum isn't designed for and usually doesn't have the suction needed to pull liquids from fabric. A shop vac would be recommended for this.
How much did you charge..nice job
prices differ area to area. In my area (through dealerships) we charged $100 for a basic detail ( automatic car wash and dry, window cleaning and light interior cleaning, takes about an hour) anything over the basic detail theyd send to their better techs to handle on an hour by hour and customer request basis. Generally 100 an hour without hookup
Am curious myself aswell, this gentleman does great work!
Hey man, I have a question. After vacuuming the seats, is it still wet? My only concern is after cleaning the seats and vacuuming, it would still be wet and I'm afraid of molds forming. Thanks man.
Let the car run with the heat full blast on recirculating air. It’ll dry in 30-60 min
@@onetouchgarage4503 Fire! Thanks man!
Do u have to remove filter before vacuuming?
Do you need a shop vac or could you let it air dry?
It's important to suck out as much of the dirt and cleaning solution as possible. Otherwise, you'll just be leaving the dirt behind and it may look worse.
Wouldn’t hot water with laundry soap work better and safer?
No it’s not ph neutral and if u don’t get all that soap out which Willis be hard it collects dirt etc much faster so it will be dirty again n no time
Go w a degreaser / water mix or a ph neutral shampoo and ph neutral rinse also won’t leave cloth hard
@@joshymcdaniel9233 what do you mean by neutral rinse? Just water or another cleaner?
@@BOSS_DOG the real mvp
No because as a detailer ive noticed it wont remove the grease like super clean will I've tried laundry soap it don't get em looking good
Would it be better to steam clean the seats first to loosen the stains and dirt before putting the cleaner on?
grrr next vid do a voice over please. the brush drowned u out
What kind of steam cleaner did you use?
I use a McCulloch MC1375
@@luxurycardetailingthehamptons will clothing iron work too?
