Their ancestors used to be one of the most advanced race in the galaxy.
Until the Rakata and their Infinite Empire.
They enslaved them and after thousands of years, at their empires end, they decided the galaxy was to die if they couldnt rule it. They glassed Tattooine, turning once green and luscious planet into a barren hellscape and once the fire has set all that was left was endless sea of sand. The ancestors of the Tuskens and Jawas hid underground to avoid extinction. They devolved into primitive beings fit for life underground. When they came back to the surface one species devolved into two. Once family, now mortal enemies, the Jawas and Tuskens fought for what little was left. Tuskens kept to themsellfs, hatefull of outsiders, perhaps still remebering the horrors of Rakata, while Jawas saw opportunity in trade with the outsiders, possibly hoping that they could one day return to the bountifull and prosperous days of old.

Did you ever hear the Legend of Anakin? I thought not, it's not a story the Jawas would tell you, it's a Tuskan legend. Anakin was the Chosen One of the Force so powerful that he could use his anger to kill not just the men but the women and the children too, like animals. He had such a knowledge of Form 5 Dem So that he could even slaughter the women and children, like animals. He became so powerful that the only thing he began to fear was sand, which of course eventually his lightsaber was buried in. Unfortunately, he was forced to return to the sandpeople who then began worshipping him. Ironic. He killed them all, not just the men but the women and the children too but they worshiped him.

When you brought up how Vader was on Tatooine, I immediately thought of Luke on the Lars homestead. I’m curious to know if Vader went to the homestead and saw everything from a distance, and did he see Luke at all before A New Hope when he was there in Tatooine? I highly doubt it, but it would be a cool if he did do that. It would just show the little bit of Anakin honoring and paying his respects to his mother again, but as Darth Vader as well in that moment.

I really like their stories about Tatooine from KOTOR. They mention that it used to be a beautiful planet with large cities that were destroyed and all the glass became the sand that covered the planet now. Fascinating stories that were passed down verbally that the rest of the galaxy knew little about.

I think you mentioned in another video that Sand People weren´t seen as people but rather like vermin or insects so Anakin´s slaughter wasn´t seen as that bad so that is a big one that should be included.
Also great video and the last one about the Sand people worshipping Vader really is fascinating and god would I wish we had seen the whole slaughter in the movie and not just the books. Every time I watch this scene I just wish I could see more because it´s so badass how he decapitates the too guards and the one Tuskin Raider coming at him and also we see him in complete rage and we have only seen the good side of him for so long so seeing his rage and the first step towards the dark side and becoming Darth Vader is just so awesome and badass.

One possible inspiration for the 'Tuskens' was from the 'Orcs' in LOTR. Since Orcs were also vicious mutant killers of a lower species. They were deliberately created by the Dark Lord Melkor, through cross breeding corrupted and tortured elves with different evil beasts. Killing these creatures was not as bad as killing people since they were considered an evil menace.

Do a video on the saber throw! Ahsoka just did the very first one on film involving remote controlled saber swinging.
Vader threw his at Luke in ROTJ but it was just a noob throw, straight, and then clattered to the deck with no control.
I learned a cool move back when I played Jedi Outcast JK2, that if you threw your saber and then rush around in a circle.
The saber would chase you down, but fall into a circular pattern around you which was pretty much impenetrable to melee attacks.
If I was a jedi, this would be my specialty. I would juggle 4 sabers like Grievous but be hands free.

If I remember correctly, the Tusken Raiders were impressed by the strength and fortitude of Shmi Skywalker in the face of their torture. She, even though was imprisoned and slated for death, was respected and honored in the tribe.

i also read that like mandalorians, tusken raiders also took in foundlings of any race raising them like tuskens, and the source said that even when these people who sometimes were human, when offered they would deny to go back into the real world
