My experience about radio code for Honda. i just call for local Honda dealer, they asked my CRV VIN Number, when lady checked online , she told me radio code... NO Charge ... I live in Canada. Thank You Danny for teach Honda maintenance !!!!!!!!!!!

Wheeeee! My Accord idles smoothly again! I did not bother cleaning the throttle body or anything but I probably should. I don't have to turn off the AC when idling anymore!

Open the glove box and look on the drivers side of it to find your radio code

Hello. Thanks for your content. I'm from Mexico. I followed the procedure, but in my car, the idle speed only reaches 800 rpm. I see in your car and in others that I have seen, that it drops to between 600 and 700 rpm. Do you have any idea what it could be?
I followed your steps exactly however when I turned the car on it revs constantly up and down around 2000 rpm and the check engine light is on. Pulling codes show P0123 and P0223. High voltage to the sensors. What could have caused this and what do you suggest? Just do relearn?

Timing chain should last the life of the vehicle, if mine ever needs to be replaced a video will certainly be produced

Hey Danny. Great stuff my 2006 Honda Civic been malfunctioning, for.example sometimes It won't go past 3,500 rpm it will just keep it there. I've switched the VTEC Selenoide and it worked fine for a couple.of miles then started again..any solutions?

Hey danny, i am not sure if this is the solution to my cars issue, i have a 2007 civic and its giving me the throttle error sometimes and it goes into limp mode. I changed the throttle body and it didnt show up for 8 days but its showing again.

Check your coolant level and ensure it’s topped off, Make sure AC and defrost are off as they automatically turn on and sustain fans

Don't they have the radio code on a sticker on the glove box door? At least that's how mine is.
All depends on the technician who did the pre delivery inspection, they all do something different
maybe close the hood?, heat will acumulate faster this way i think

Hey Danny. I cleaned my MAF And MAP sensors on my 2012 civic and it’s idling high in the 2/3K RPMS. Does it need a idle relearn procedure if so can I use this method..
Yes do a idle relearn,what did you use to clean your sensor
Also recheck your work, sounds like you might have a vacuum leak

If you have a push button start (2013 Accord) how do you turn on ignition without turning over engine for the first 2 seconds?
I think u just press it not hold it right?

Do this on a warm engine.
From my experience, I get better results on a cold engine, however the manual doesn’t specify cold or warm

You will need to fix the problem before a relearning will work

I have a question in my 2007 civic fd manual. My idle normal rpm is 800, and when I sped up like 40mph then putted the gear into neutral, my rom stays at 1.4k stable until I fully stop. I’m on neutral and I’m not stepping up the gas but my idle stays at 1.4k while the car is moving. And also, then I let go of the gas, my rpm goes up first like around 2k rpm before it goes down to 800rpm. What should I do?
Hard to give advice when you can’t check the car, but, Start by cleaning throttle body, do a reset and relearn, if your car has a throttle cable check the idle air control valve

Hey Danny, could you tell me what kind of average fuel mileage you’re getting on your car? I just picked up a used 2009 mileage I’ve been averaging 26 miles per gallon or so mixed highway driving I thought I’d be getting closer to 29 or 30 MPG. A little disappointed by this, is this Norm? I’ve changed, spark plugs, air cleaner, oil, transmission fluid, etc. going to do the MAF sensor next. Anything else I should be checking?

I replaced the alternator on a 08 honda oddysey and now it has all the warning lights on and wont go past 3000 rpm. It sat for 2 months before i could get an alternator also. Do i need to do this or do i have another issue. I also replaced the vvt solenoid since that was the initial problem leaking onto the alternator. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

How many miles does your civic run in a full tank?
I average 35 mpg sometime 37mpg, I drive 62 mile per day 5 days a week
When the engine is running, there's vibration, especially the front passenger. The vibration goes through and some particles start vibrating under the door windows. Could it be the throttle body?

My 2010 civic won't idle. Starts everything runs about 5 seconds dies. If I give it gas it runs but sounds like it's backfiring. I ran it at 3k for 2 cycles of fan and it just died when I went to idle? Please help
When did this start happening? What’s been done so far
@@dannysdiygarage I have replaced starter fuel rail Injectors battery cleaned 02 sensor cleaned throttle body then replaced throttle body new spark plugs changed the things that go on the spark plugs. Pulled cam shaft post. Sensor cleaned it (it did have a lot of oil on it) inspected crankshaft sensor cleaned it. I did unhook ecu and immobilizer for about 10 min hooked both back up. Starts every time runs 4 or 5 sec and sputters and dies. I checked fuel pump with method from your channel read steady entire time power was on. I really need my car it's also my home I've tried alot of things but it hasn't gotten better

Did you check the airflow sensor? Any codes? Unplug the airflow sensor and see if it runs any better
I cant tell when my fans r on with all that engin noise. Is there another way to tell when the fans comes on & off?

Hi Danny. Thanks for the video post. My 2008 Civic GX only idles poorly in the morning, and when it is below 70 or so degrees. I have to let it idle for 5-7 minutes and it sputters, which can be heard at the exhaust pipe. I then have to shut the car off and start it again. The sputter stops and I can drive the car. The check engine light flashes when I first start it. If I don't warm it up, the engine rpm won't go past 1500 rpm and its impossible to drive the car. It also throws the 302 misfire code for the number 2 cylinder. Will this reset help or is there something else that is causing the problem that you can suggest a repair for?
You have other issue, you need to figure out you cylinder two misfire and any other codes you have
