When am drive inside the city for full tank its giving me 290 to 300KM These are the steps that I have done. 1. Clean the mass airflow sensor. 2. Clean the throttle body. 3. Clean the plugs. 4. Changed the engine oil and gear oil. 5. Clean the fuel filter. 6. Clean the fuel Injector. Please assist me with this.

I own two civics, both 2009’s, dealer probably say to perform a relearn procedure, that’s great if you have the equipment, if not it will relearn on its own overtime, the civic I did in the video relearned pretty quick, within a day of driving, however my other civic did not idle correctly for 2 weeks and then was perfect, so if it’s not perfect after the cleaning, don’t panic
He removed the battery for the purpose of filming the video to have space and show how it all goes in and out, in this case he reconnected the battery just to open the throttle
Hello, I’ve been having starting and dying immediately issues when I jump start my car. It all started after I cleaned my throttle body.I cleaned it because my car was shifting improperly and bogging out. I’ve replaced my maf sensor, fuel pump, fuel pump relay and fuses, new plugs and coil packs, and even a new 02 sensor because it was throwing off a low voltage code. Any ideas where I should check next? Thanks, if you read all of this.
@@dannysdiygarage 180k miles 08 lx, last codes it had were P0113, and P0102. That was why I had replaced my maf sensor. I will check today if my exhaust is plugged, but I don’t think it should. I installed a catback system less than a year ago. I was able to jump the car for around 30 seconds maybe before it died, but now it will only start right up for a second and then dies. It will usually only start twice for a second before it doesn’t want to start anymore. Anyways thanks for the time .
@@dannysdiygarage I was able to get a whole new fuel pump assembly and the car runs now, but it won’t accelerate, or barely revs up when in drive unless I feather the throttle
Just keep driving it, on one of my Civics it took a month to relearn, it now idles perfectly, the other option is to have Honda relearn it, sometimes if it’s really dirty it difficult for the computer to figure it out right a way.

@@dannysdiygarage am buying another brain box, my Mechanic said my brain box is bad, because when plugged in, the fuse box will be sparking when the ignition light is on, so am changing the brain box, so the accelerator will get fixed. Because he said the problem is electrical.

This should be in your owner’s manual, I only know the civic should be at operating temperature and check a few minutes after it’s shut down and on a level surface
I have a 2012 civic the car runs good just on idle it fluctuates a bit to wear it shakes a little but not stall i can hear something kick on then the idle goes up then turns off then idle goes down ... hopefully this helps will try it out
is it your air conditioner compressor kicking it, it will also kick in when the defroster is on, if that is the case it's probably normal, cleaning the air flow sensor and throttle body could help, also worn mounts make this seem worse than it is, hopefully this helps
You cannot use throttle body cleaners on the MAF sensor, but you could use MAF sensor cleaner on the throttle body, however it may not clean it very well

the computer puts the car into a fixed mode, it will still run, however not very good, did this answer your question.

Yes try to limit any excess dirt falling into the intake

No, brake cleaner is to harsh for the air flow meter and not strong enough for the throttle body

Try disconnecting the map sensor and see if it make a difference

If clean the MAP or MAF sensor(s), make sure it is dry before install back.
Make sure wire harness are conected securely too.
The idle is too high and unstable after I cleaned the Throttle body. I already tried to idle relearning but it did not help. Please help

You cannot use throttle body cleaners on the MAF sensor, but you could use MAF sensor cleaner on the throttle body, however it may not clean it very well
