This video is a bit misleading, please see the following bullet points: - When you leave your house you will have 100% charge in the battery, that means you can go the full 315 miles to the charge. (The NEDC Range of an electric vehicle which is what he quotes here is a lab tested range so it's a load of rubbish) - As temperatures get colder and especially less than 0°C then range is also reduced - Charging via a 13A 3 Pin socket is something that no electric car owner ever does. If you do 250 Miles for 365 days that's 91250 Miles a year. The car will pay for itself in no time. The average mileage a person does in the UK per day is around 25-30 Miles so having that range will mean a single battery charge overnight that will cost £2 will last you between 10-12.5ish days of driving for the average person. - After driving between 250-315 Miles on a single run most people will stop for 30/45mins for a coffee, toilet and food break. Plug it in when you get to the service station then get back to an 80% charge and drive off. Simple
Dude the test is done in normal driving conditions and temperature 75-80 F ECT. The battery will vary depend on your driving habit, gradient and temperature( 2nd law of thermal dynamic).
Robert Ede i'm not hating on tesla's but there customer service are shit and Expensive if it goes out of warranty. The cost of owning one is still in question
just a random guy please list what Tesla Model you personally own and what problems you have had with Tesla's customer service. I would like to hear your story before I buy my Tesla car.
There is this misrepresentation of charging again. People who own teslas allmost never ever spends time charging or "filling up the gas" as this guy says, because they charge it at home while they sleep and takes seconds to plug in. Others do the same at work. So like everyone owning this car spends zero time recharging since the car would be parked there anyway. Just in those very rare occasions when you do drive more than 300 miles you have to spend some time to recharge, but again you need to eat to drink to take a leak, nobody drives 300 miles at once it's unhealthy. So you plan your stop location at the same place where you can charge the car. Even if once in a year road trip you would have to spend 30 minutes to recharge it on the road, just remember how many many ours you saved during that year for not spending any time to refuell the car.
A blatant lie ? Anyone who could afford a Tesla can also afford a petrol runaround for when the Tesla is recharging or isnt sufficient charge for the journey planned. I cant actually believe some swear so much over an opinion about a car, even if it is or is not Tesla's PR spokesman: well said ? Shame the mindless moron isnt so passionate about what he ought to be, and clearly he isn't to behave with such perverse overcompensation.
Lol, nobody drives 300 miles at once, It will do 200-250 and thats with gentle driving. Yes you can charge it overnight at 22 miles an hour, lol or que up at supercharger stations, And yes it cant compare to good high performance petrol powered car.
Actually alot of people drive over 300 miles at once. We drove over 900km in one stretch because we had to be at a hotel in calais at a certain time a couple of years ago. All the way from Linkoping, Sweden down to Calais France in 1 go. The power of a good diesel engine I might add. 1500km on 1 tank.
@@Dumlen Bosnia - Germany (Duisburg) people I know do without stop to refuel.. Diesels are economic now. Old Audi A4 1.9TDI will do it with just one refuel, that is 10 minutes with "leak". Just imagine being tired after a long journey and you still have to drive for maybe an hour but you have to wait your Tesla even more to recharge. That is not so cool and not something you would like on a long journey..
To all the the people who say "this car is boring, it doesn`t make any loud sounds, it is too expensive or it doesn`t drive far enough, it is not really so environmenal friendly " , just drive one and you understand why people praise this car so much. Of course not everything is perfect, for example the interior or some alignment issues, but this company has achieved what many thought to be impossible, make a electric car with a Ludicrous acceleration a long range for most people who don`t drive more than 300 miles per day, and all this in just a little over 10 years !! Yes it is still very expensive, but when Model 3 comes out in late 2017 (or probably 2018) it will start at 35.000 dollars. I know that is still not exactly cheap but Tesla produces better all electric cars than any other automaker right now and with time their cars will also get affordable. Most Tesla super chargers get their electricity from solar panels so no, it doesn`t come from a coal plants and even if it did it would be better than ICE cars because the efficiency of electric cars is way better than that of ICE cars ( I think it was 20% on ICE vs 60% on electric cars efficiency but I could be wrong) . Yes Lithium also needs to be mined somewhere and solar panels also require some materials to be build , their is no such thing as a "PERFECT SOLUTION" but we need to think of "the best solution" and in my opinion mining Lithium is way better than fighting wars with different countries over oil and letting people die in these wars. Polluting the atmosphere in cities with emissions which can lead to lung cancer and in the end death is also a big problem. The last thing is the range, probably 95 % of people don`t need to drive more than 300 miles per day and probably would only need to charge their car at home 1-3 times per week . Also battery technology is improving every year and so does the charging speed. Their are already Teslas who drove 200.000 miles without much battery degradation .
Im sure as a toy to borrow or rent for a day its superb. Just like a sexrobot could be fun to have sex with. But you wouldnt wanna swap your real girlfriend for a sexrobot would you? You want somthign real and organic= cars. Not something pretending to be real = electric cars
+MudgateBronn The only thing holding EVs back is the battery capacity/efficiency but that's readily improving. We're heading towards a point where EVs will be superior in every way (including performance). As EVs become increasingly practical atop their already better acceleration, I'm leaning towards electric :o
+Tech Stuff I have a feeling electric cars are primed to wipe out all petrol-powered cars the same way aircraft carriers wiped out the battleships. The 'Pearl Harbor' moment for combustion engines is coming and Elon Musk is pretty much the automotive equivalent of General Billy Mitchell, with his cars demonstrating the imminent obsolescence of fossil-fuels against the new electric revolution. In short, if we want to indulge in the petrol engine, now would be the best (and last) time to do it. Very soon we'll have to kiss them goodbye, and goodbye will mean forever.
People, Think about it. Tesla has been making cars for how long ? and they managed to come up with this !.. So Ford, chev, Merc Toyota and all the rest have essentially been taking all of us for a very boring ride for a very long time.. Thank you very muck Mr Elon Musk .. you will go down in history as the Man who took Automotive design and engineering to the technical limit
He is backed up by massive founds though, he is a billionaire. CVK deserves more credit than him for battling against Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini imo.
He is a millionaire, but not really a billionaire. Elon musk and CVK are quite incomparable, the one is an awesome car manufacturer, the other is a millionaire scientist who will be remember for his contribution.
The other companies you named would get sued to death by their shareholders if they started to burn money for years and years like Tesla did. I think it is a quite brave course that Musk is taking and I respect him as a bold entrepreneur, but you really cannot compare starting a company with billions of dollars at disposal with turning around a globalised companies with millions of employees. That takes time.
TheDiabolocraft Wha??? You obviously have some massive insight here so please let us know the details of the incredible discovery you've made about Elon Musks accounting. While we're waiting for that....As of today he is worth $13B. It'll be more like $20B by the end of the year I imagine. And if Space X ever gets to the stage where it can consistently send payloads into space and return the rockets, he will surpass Bill Gates the day the company goes public and become the richest person on earth overnight.
When I was a 13, my mother spoiled me. I have a Pentium 60 in 1994. I don't know what to do with it. So I bought a 14.4kbps modem. Then, there was internet. The screen scrolls at about the same speed of the Tesla interface. I missed 1994

Τζακυνθος Φριτοπουλος Yea. if you noticed, the lag only happened when using apps connected to the internet. There was no lag in the other apps. He probably has pretty bad connection out there.
Normally not at what I have seen so far. It really depends on the internet connection you have, but the browser is slow in general, everything else works nice.
For a start the maps should not be called laggy, That is to do with the 4g connection speed as it is loading the maps from google. It is not laggy when being used for functions like spotify, radio services and using the phone. From my experience in a model s 85kwh it is not like what your saying mate.
How bizarre. I actually owned this exact car, I changed the plates but had the old ones in the boot! The guy i sold it to found this vid and sent to me, small world.
In love with this one. Tesla seems to tick all the boxes when it comes to pleasing the customer. Can't wait to see what they come up with in the future!
Just bought one of these and was showing my son the video. Then, I realised the car in the first part of the video is my actual car! It's a monster in ludicrous + mode
I bought this 3 months ago and I’ve payed almost 4000 dollars including all special features such as sterilisers and heaters, I frequently get asked by my brother if it was worth it, well, the answer is yes and no. Are Teslas expensive? - It depends if you’re leasing, loaning or buying, when you lease, you’re basically renting it and the car won’t be yours, if you’re loaning it, the bank lends you money to pay for it as long as you’re capable of doing so, if your bank credit isn’t what it was before you bought the car, they can choose to either stop lending you the money, wherein you lose the car, or they can keep lending you money, only loan if you think your finances are stabilised, if you have 80,000 dollars to spare, then you can buy it. These three options are all relative, I suggest buying one when you think a thousand dollars per month isn’t something too valuable. Are there any battery-stations when using the car? If you’re willing to drive longer just to go to that one station, then yes, but if you aren’t, steer clear of teslas and buy something within the vicinity of the price range, i.e, Cadillacs, mustangs, jaguars etc. How high should my credit score be to loan? Where do you live? If you live in the states, it depends on which state, to loan one, you should have at least 700+ credit, banks won’t lend you loans if they think you can’t afford one. If this is all too complicated, make 6 digits, or 7000+ per month. How long will I pay for it? 6 years (loan= 1000 per month), 3 years (lease= 1000 per month) Is it worth it? For me? Absolutely, If you’ve been dreaming of a driverless future since you were a kid, then every single penny, cent and dollar is worth it, if you’re doubtful, then don’t buy it.
True, I love Tesla but I am not a fanboy, if I disagree with someone on it, I at least have arguments on why that is. But their are some people who really can`t accept any critic on Tesla whatsoever xD
King Tubby working for mercedes, in the last month, 4 clients came to change their teslas. All for the same reasons: build quality, reliability and practicality
I do enjoy these videos but Matt can be ver biased with some brands. It’s not much of a problem not having a smooth load with the back seats down. While I’ve seen others where that’s a huge issue.
Yes, but unlike Apple, Tesla actually makes products worth "worshipping". Admit it, the rest of the car industry is a stagnant aging dinosaur. 2019 BMW models STILL come with a fucking handbrake!!? WTF FOR?!! A Tesla puts on its 'Handbrake' every time you park, why would you not want to? The tech and screens in all other cars are a joke. This is the only brand of car that is actually doing something different, and doing it far better than most luxury/tech/super cars. Every other brand has been playing it safe for decades making small changes every 4-5 years. Nobody innovates but Tesla in this industry.
LulzRoyce *facepalm* That's called an Automatic Handbrake sweet heart and my Jaguar S-Type 2003 3.0 V6 has one. Most cars in the business now days have the Automatic Handbrake. Stop the soy boy band over EV's they suck cock and they pollute, just as much as a normal car on fossil fuel.
I love the fact that almost every person that hates Tesla doesn't own one cause Tesla owners actually knows that they are better than the media portrays
it probably has press and hold for more important functions. That launch control or whatever it was even warns you that you are doing more damage and wear to the car like that.
+EinkOLED Self drive which can apparently kill you +Heart GT86 {KatyCat} IT has worse build quality and materials tho. It uses fake leather and other shitty materials. Also the body is shitty made. It's unreliable. I worked with Teslas a couple of months. And although they have great technology, they still have a long way to go. Hence I'd also take an RS7 or S8+, since all in all those cars offer more
I mean you don't have to worry about sitting around waiting for it to charge when you can just plug it in at home and forget about it until the next morning. Meaning you basically never have to use time waiting for it to charge unless you're going on longer or very frequent drives.
Josh Freeman The Autopilot is for the new Tesla with AP 2.0 not yet available. But in the future with a software update can this car drive fully autonomous (level 5).
"You have to wait 45 minutes for a charge which is longer than putting petrol in..." Um... yes. But why aren't you mentioning that from 0 to 100% it would cost charging at home roughly 10USD? As opposed to the ridiculous prices of petrol that is needed much more often.
So a Brazilian or a Swede can pay with oil/blood money? How do you do that? Throw dollars at the laggy screen? Hint: most of the world don't use their military to get unrealistically low prices at stuff like americans do. It would cost $30 around here where the money and power are actually based on something green and not black and red.
Jrv200008 it would also interesting to see in gear or rolling starts like for instance from 50-100mph because from what I have see it has pretty bad trap speed over a quarter mile, it just pulls away until the ICE car reaches it's peak torque after that it's over.
3XICS exactly, all the Tesla fanboys think it's the fastest car in the world. Well to 100kph that's true but after that... Total destruction by any ICE rival
just got out of my tesla p100d, the one shown in this video. You can not begin to comprehend the acceleration it has through the screen. You have to experience the power fist hand.
combustion engine vehicles have been around for hundreds of years. Out of nowhere tesla p100d comes out of nowhere and CRUSHES the 0-60 time from even a bugatti veyron, the most orgasmed over number in the car industry just annihilated... yeah, electric is truly the future. I drove a 2017 p100d today in ludicrous mode 2.28 seconds 0-60. While I am an insane car enthusiast, and it makes me kind of sad to see that this is the future, it is undoubtedly the near future.
You have'nt driven the car so you have no idea of what you are talking about. Neither have I, but I expect it to be a lot more fun to drive than my VW Polo 1.0 TSI.
After owing Model X for a couple of weeks, I can say charging time is non-issue. I wake up with fully charged car every morning. I have a less range anxiety with my Tesla than with my VW. With ICE cars, you need to check what's left in the tank and the price of petrol.
Worth mentioning that although home charging is slow, you charge it like your phone: overnight when you're not driving, so it's a non issue as each morning you wake up with a full car. Don't even think about it. But my old petrol car is sat there nearly empty and the first thing I'll have to remember is to go to the petrol station.
TireKickers, can you provide substantiation of this belief? There's literally zero reason to hate Tesla for existing. Doesn't mean you have to own one, but stop fucking complaining.
The company has only been mass producing cars for 6 years.. Chill... I bet u think VW, BMW, Ford and GM didnt have quality issues when they were new companies either.
Question: What's the point of ludicrous mode if using it is bad for the car? If you use it a lot, I presume they will give you a bad time on warranty work for the motor and/or battery? Seriously, having to answer that question seems to say that anyone who wants their Tesla to last shouldn't use it. I'm not bashing Tesla here. I'm a fan of BEV's and PHEV's and expect them to continue to improve relative to ICE's. I'm just trying to understand all the emphasis on top performance (which you pay a BIG premium for), if using it will cause premature battery/motor wear.
You forgot to mention the autonomous driving features, they are one of the highlights of the car as it has the highest level of autonomy commercially available yet and is ready for being upgraded with the upcoming levels.
The problem with tesla's in England is, as he said, there are only 34 Tesla charge stations in England and the brand isn't popularised that much. no showrooms or whatever to promote it. Personally, I've never seen a Tesla on the road. Great car, just needs a bit more attention.
How havent u seen a tesla yet? in Norway there is so many of them every 10 th car on the road is one... ANd the charging network is ecpanding RAPIDLEY.
@@GAMEVIDSnorwegian422 that's because you're living in Norway. There, a lot of people are driving electric cars and the infrastructure is expanding at a good rate, but you gotta think about other countries. Even countries like the US, Germany or France still have it pretty good compared to the rest of the world because the German, Us American, and French auto makers like Ford, Tesla, Renault, Peugot, VW, Mercedes, BMW, etc. will build up a solid infrastructure there, but what about countries like Portugal which just don't have an automotive industry? Either the state will have to pay, or some foreign companies will need to start building up an infrastructure there, and this might still take even more time, so it'll take even more time until you'll see a solid amount of Teslas there
In London you see several daily but yes, it’s obviously nowhere near as popular as your Benz or bmw. The Superchargers are actually quite congested so once model 3 is commonplace I do wonder how the infrastructure will cope.

You are so right. At the very first beginning of electric cars I read doupts about this in car magazines... not anymore, why? There was a plan carry an obligation the manufacturers should install a sound generator to make a light sound outside
lol with this car the little bump from the seats in the back when you fold them down is 'no big problem' but with the Kuga you nearly made a scene about it. There was even a way to easily fix this with the Kuga, which you didn't mention. So ya..
The windscreen and side windows seem a bit misted up....expect the car needs to use an electric fan and electric heater these must drain the power too..great car all the same
It's nice to see a car review of a Tesla that isn't prejudiced against it for being an electric vehicle. It's refreshing for people to judge Tesla's on their performance as a vehicle than just slander it for being electric
Amazing car, but one of the best parts about driving a sports car is the sound it makes. I love downshifting and hearing the popping sounds. This car is just missing that completely.
The p100d does NOT compete with the porsche panamera turbo in price and performance...these reviewers just don't get it.. the panamera is both slower in traffic and much, much more expensive, an engine as powerful as the panamera turbo has needs that kind of nice smelling petrol, loads of it. The porsche will rule on the track but who buys a panamera for the track? Tesla is boss on the road, and if you can afford that much for a road car, a second car, gt3rs track toy won't break the bank. I already have and love my track toy but for the road, nothing beats tesla for the moment. Quiet, fast, cheap to run.
I guess carwow are in a better position than most to know what price they actually go for. Do you know what the difference in running cost would be over the average period that a typical owner has one? Say a 3 year leasing deal, as a company car, with petrol at £?? a gallon, with the odd day trip into central London? and the odd day trip to Scotland, or Wales, or Cornwall, or France? So someone that actually uses it, rather than it being a decoration that gets hidden in the garage, like a Paranmera Turbo owner that I know. I'm guessing that £17,000 difference would soon disappear in petrol, servicing and BIK.
Where i live (Belgium) the purchase price is about the same for both cars, around 158000€, i don't know why you guys in the uk get sooo screwed over with tesla's, 17000£ is a lot or maybe it's just that porsches are cheaper in the uk. A quick calculation shows the enormous cost advantage for the p100d in Belgium. I only use taxes and fuel so i even leave out the maintenance advantage for the tesla. Over 5 years (so not that long) and 100000km a p100d costs 4000€ in electricity and for now nothing in taxes. The porsche costs a whopping 25000€ over 5 years so any price difference is gone fast, even when the government starts to tax ev's because they lose money on them. Also driving only half that distance still means 2000 vs 12500€. I like porsche a lot but on the road for daily driving it's waaaaay to expensive and 1.5sec slower to 160km/h, a speed that we can go in very few countries. Who cares about 160-250km/h times for a road car when you need to go over 200km/h to start overtaking the p100d. Love the reviews so we can see these awesome cars go full tilt but road cars are for the road with road rules and prices, real track cars cost 3x as much to use them on the track then what they already cost on the (mostly boring) road.
i hope the model 3 isn't getting the same insane base price as the model s here. If the base model 3 comes out above 40 000€ here it will not sell as well as it could and the bolt/ampera e will hold all the cards for now. Either way, my next daily ride will be electric. I'm going to stop funding middle east oil countries even if it's only a tiny part of the price per liter here. The rest disappears in the government black hole anyway.
I was speaking to an interesting young man outside of a local tesco. The man works for tesla and was driving a P100d and he says it ruined cars for him.. he doesn't need super cars, M5's Amgs ect ect because of the acceleration of these
I like this car, I will buy a Tesla. Oh, I am also a petrol head with a Mercury 56 and two motorcycles in my red Swedish garage. My daily driver is a 2014 Peugeot 308 115HK HDI, very good and economical. But next time I want a electric car for daily driving. Buying a Tesla with company money makes sense. Some American history and some American future in my garage would be a nice blend.
shtik If you noticed, the lag only happened when using apps connected to the internet. There was no lag in the other apps. He probably has pretty bad connection out there.
I dont understand why reviewers keep saying the interior is not worth the money. Ive sat in one in a dealership and to me, it definitely feels like a $100k car. the dashboard is wrapped in leather and carbon, and the seats feel amazing.
If you threw an exercise bike in the back hooked up to a changing pin and pedalled like crazy for a while - that might be enough to get you to a recharging station?
Haters? They are just pointing out the obvious. You cannot energies the car that easily it requires time. A ICE car can be filled up with petrol/gas in a few minutes and be on the road again. They are not a sports car so no matter what 0-60 times are you are not in a sports car. That is just he short reality of the tesla.
it is not a great car but it is quite new and in 5 or 10 years time electric cars will be improved and will have better batteries and faster charging time.
Charging tme is already not an issue, anyone who complains about it just does it for fun, NOONE except some taxi`s drives more then the 300km of range the 75D gives a day. With Tesla`s supercharging stations thats being built out stupidly fast aswell charging time is NOT an issue.

This video is a bit misleading, please see the following bullet points:
- When you leave your house you will have 100% charge in the battery, that means you can go the full 315 miles to the charge. (The NEDC Range of an electric vehicle which is what he quotes here is a lab tested range so it's a load of rubbish)
- As temperatures get colder and especially less than 0°C then range is also reduced
- Charging via a 13A 3 Pin socket is something that no electric car owner ever does. You would get a 32A Socket installed in your house for a Tesla or a Wall Charger for other makes. Renault even fit one for FREE for every new Renault Zoe EV customer.
- There are well over 4000 non Tesla charging points across the UK. Get an adapter and a Tesla can be used on most of these points. (A lot of these are fast chargers, often on or near the motorway network)
- Who does more than 315 Miles or even 250 Miles every day? If you do 250 Miles for 365 days that's 91250 Miles a year. The car will pay for itself in no time. The average mileage a person does in the UK per day is around 25-30 Miles so having that range will mean a single battery charge overnight that will cost £2 will last you between 10-12.5ish days of driving for the average person.
- After driving between 250-315 Miles on a single run most people will stop for 30/45mins for a coffee, toilet and food break. Plug it in when you get to the service station then get back to an 80% charge and drive off. Simple
Robert Ede i like your comment
Love from Pakistan
Dude the test is done in normal driving conditions and temperature 75-80 F ECT. The battery will vary depend on your driving habit, gradient and temperature( 2nd law of thermal dynamic).
Robert Ede i'm not hating on tesla's but there customer service are shit and Expensive if it goes out of warranty. The cost of owning one is still in question
just a random guy please list what Tesla Model you personally own and what problems you have had with Tesla's customer service.
I would like to hear your story before I buy my Tesla car.
just a random guy *they’re *is
The screen did look very laggy though
ILLUMINATUS it's actually quite responsive in real life, I also thought it looked laggy in videos until I tried it in a Model x.
ILLUMINATUS the refresh rate is slow, it's annoying at first, but after a while you don't notice it.
the location is the problem, not the car
what do you mean with that?
009a2 bad Internet connectivity
6:33 That blew me away. I have never seen such instant acceleration. I am sold.
Even if once in a year road trip you would have to spend 30 minutes to recharge it on the road, just remember how many many ours you saved during that year for not spending any time to refuell the car.
well said!
Lol, nobody drives 300 miles at once,
It will do 200-250 and thats with gentle driving.
Yes you can charge it overnight at 22 miles an hour, lol or que up at supercharger stations,
And yes it cant compare to good high performance petrol powered car.
Tech Stuff agreed
Im sure as a toy to borrow or rent for a day its superb. Just like a sexrobot could be fun to have sex with. But you wouldnt wanna swap your real girlfriend for a sexrobot would you? You want somthign real and organic= cars. Not something pretending to be real = electric cars
+MudgateBronn The only thing holding EVs back is the battery capacity/efficiency but that's readily improving. We're heading towards a point where EVs will be superior in every way (including performance). As EVs become increasingly practical atop their already better acceleration, I'm leaning towards electric :o
That's what they say about Horse Carriage sometime ago.
Why am I watching this I know everything about the Tesla model s

Actually Elon's net worth is $12 Billion.

4:29 I can't believe no one talks about the fps on that screen, I don't think you need 144hz or anything but that looks like 3fps to me, it would drive me NUTS.
lol broek yeah I’m confused about that too because in some videos it looks smoother than butter but on others it’s a powerpoint
I think its internet problem as I have seen other tesla screens smooth as butter (take doug de muero's model x "joke" video for example)
In around a year, so basically end of 2022, the screen gonna improve
that's a 2016 model s. nowadays the screens got a lot better
Now theyre running ryzen processors, similar ones to the PS5 and Xbox series X, so it will be responsive. Im not sure the fps but i would be surprised if its under 60

For the people complaining about the laggy screen: It's not the screen, it's the internet and google maps' fault. The rest is very fast.
wrong, it's the code in the browser.
it lags while scrolling AFTER loading.
@@foam27 never felt that in a tesla screen.
Τζακυνθος Φριτοπουλος Yea. if you noticed, the lag only happened when using apps connected to the internet. There was no lag in the other apps. He probably has pretty bad connection out there.

Is the tablet in the middle really this choppy? Seems really bad considering the price...
I've watched a few videos, never looked choppy. Only when online, and that depended on the country or area. It's a really good and responsive screen
Normally not at what I have seen so far. It really depends on the internet connection you have, but the browser is slow in general, everything else works nice.
The sunroof only open when you remove the finger from the screen, not before :-)
For a start the maps should not be called laggy, That is to do with the 4g connection speed as it is loading the maps from google. It is not laggy when being used for functions like spotify, radio services and using the phone. From my experience in a model s 85kwh it is not like what your saying mate.
it's not the connection speed... if it was that the rest of the map would just be blank when moving the map around...
How bizarre. I actually owned this exact car, I changed the plates but had the old ones in the boot! The guy i sold it to found this vid and sent to me, small world.

6 years (loan= 1000 per month), 3 years (lease= 1000 per month)
Is it worth it?
For me? Absolutely, If you’ve been dreaming of a driverless future since you were a kid, then every single penny, cent and dollar is worth it, if you’re doubtful, then don’t buy it.
One of the bad features you forgot to mention was the fanboys
Big Mike the worst fanboys
they make GTR fanboys look like amateurs...
True, I love Tesla but I am not a fanboy, if I disagree with someone on it, I at least have arguments on why that is. But their are some people who really can`t accept any critic on Tesla whatsoever xD

Mike D I'll see the light when they actually make a quality automobile.
True said..... absolutely true.....
I adore manual handbreaks, in fact no matter how much I like a car, if it has no handbreak I would never buy it. Simple as that.
LulzRoyce *facepalm*
That's called an Automatic Handbrake sweet heart and my Jaguar S-Type 2003 3.0 V6 has one.

2017 and the screen is still that SLOW ? My chinese smartphone does better even at multitasking.

no tax because you pay it all in advance. self drive just makes you a beta / passive ass rather than a dynamic / active dude
+EinkOLED Self drive which can apparently kill you
+Heart GT86 {KatyCat} IT has worse build quality and materials tho.
No talk about autopilot? or is it not available in the UK?
It only works on the highway and Brits don't drive that much on highways. Especially not the CarWow crew.
Not sure about your statement about brits not using motorways (highways) that much. Some drive 50+ miles on motorways (highways) trip.
Josh Freeman The Autopilot is for the new Tesla with AP 2.0 not yet available. But in the future with a software update can this car drive fully autonomous (level 5).
Josh Freeman Tesla is not fully autonomous it have an auto assistant but is not meant for people to solely rely on the auto assistance
Protector of the Republic I drive on a motorway everyday to go to work and back!
"You have to wait 45 minutes for a charge which is longer than putting petrol in..."
Um...
The ''No, i want my mommy'' and ''yes, bring it on'' questions are funny :D
Panamera Turbo would destroy it after 80mph. Also this looks like shit next to it and the interior is sheer crap.

5:48 (pause) - best moment :-D
After owing Model X for a couple of weeks, I can say charging time is non-issue. I wake up with fully charged car every morning. I have a less range anxiety with my Tesla than with my VW. With ICE cars, you need to check what's left in the tank and the price of petrol.
Worth mentioning that although home charging is slow, you charge it like your phone: overnight when you're not driving, so it's a non issue as each morning you wake up with a full car. Don't even think about it. But my old petrol car is sat there nearly empty and the first thing I'll have to remember is to go to the petrol station.
I agree completely. The problem is some people just don't like change whatsoever.
There's a thing called good change and shit change. Tesla falls under the shit category.

Yeah, but can you summon the Renault to where you are? This Tesla is like a stalker lol.
I *so* don't want a Renault stalking me, I would want it to stay away from me .... maybe have it go and stalk my enemies instead.
Same goes for most other high performance cars.

That "Model S" font. 9:42
It's nice to see a car review of a Tesla that isn't prejudiced against it for being an electric vehicle. It's refreshing for people to judge Tesla's on their performance as a vehicle than just slander it for being electric
Its pretty expensive in the uk..
Jagan Joseph in Indonesia, it's about US$350k.. for model 80-90
Andi1089 yikes!
Love the Nikola Tesla pic in the frunk. I just love carwow
Agree with some of your points - but the Panamera Turbo is £113k - the P100D is £130k.
Love the reviews so we can see these awesome cars go full tilt but road cars are for the road with road rules and prices, real track cars cost 3x as much to use them on the track then what they already cost on the (mostly boring) road.
with the model 3 after 7-10 years due to mainteneance and fuel savings and tax incentives when buying u basically get the car free
i hope the model 3 isn't getting the same insane base price as the model s here.
This car is sooo gorgeous!!!! 😍
I was speaking to an interesting young man outside of a local tesco. The man works for tesla and was driving a P100d and he says it ruined cars for him.. he doesn't need super cars, M5's Amgs ect ect because of the acceleration of these
I like Teslas BUT Tesla fanboys are so obnoxious. They think specs are everything and most of them don’t have a Tesla. Proof - see comments below.
Same for ICE fanboys criticizing Tesla without driving it...
Peugeot 308 =/= Petrolhead
Petrol heads drive Alfas or other great drivers cars. Not boats on wheels.
My god, the stutter when using that screen. Also, it's surprising who bad it is on the inside considering the price.
The screen is great, 3g connection is the problem. Anyone who knows anything about tesla`s know that.
shtik If you noticed, the lag only happened when using apps connected to the internet. There was no lag in the other apps. He probably has pretty bad connection out there.
I try it very nice car
Hmmm why are the windows all steamed up, climate turned off due to range anxiety??
It makes too much noise and gets picked up on Mat's microphone
carwow LOL
I dont understand why reviewers keep saying the interior is not worth the money. Ive sat in one in a dealership and to me, it definitely feels like a $100k car. the dashboard is wrapped in leather and carbon, and the seats feel amazing.
That means you've never sat in a 100k Mercedes or BMW.
4:06 the screen looks a bit angle or are my eyes lying on me
Its for the driver so its easier to access to the screen
Turn on the A/C for the name of god..
You wouldn't be able to hear his voice very clearly - the air movement is picked up on Mat's mic
No, it wouldn't if you had it constantly on at low/very fan speed and internal air circulation.
Yanis Kyr Who cars? He can do whatever he want to
that consumes useable power ;)
Yanis Kyr It would. Because it doesn’t have an engine, there is less noise, therefor the surrounding noises are amplified. Tired noise, fans, etc.
If you threw an exercise bike in the back hooked up to a changing pin and pedalled like crazy for a while - that might be enough to get you to a recharging station?
Never seen a comment section filled with so many Tesla haters. Comical.
Haters?
They are just pointing out the obvious. You cannot energies the car that easily it requires time. A ICE car can be filled up with petrol/gas in a few minutes and be on the road again.
They are not a sports car so no matter what 0-60 times are you are not in a sports car. That is just he short reality of the tesla.
bighands69 they meant people like you
bighands69, it’s not a ‘spirts car’, it’s a 5000 lb MUSCLE CAR MADE IN THE USA. MAGA! Can you refuel in your garage??? Think about that...
it is not a great car but it is quite new and in 5 or 10 years time electric cars will be improved and will have better batteries and faster charging time.
Charging tme is already not an issue, anyone who complains about it just does it for fun, NOONE except some taxi`s drives more then the 300km of range the 75D gives a day. With Tesla`s supercharging stations thats being built out stupidly fast aswell charging time is NOT an issue.
