The bulb is still in and it still glows amber. If I was keeping these headlights I would have done them up with LED and Projectors. I never had intentions on keeping these in. But… I may get fancy with some fiberglass work and make a One off! 😮

Purple power zep or any industrial grade degreaser can dissolve the chromits what i did on my set even the degreaser from sams club

Did you leave the side marker bulb out? And shoulda thrown in led while you were there

Its a full day of work. Two really when you consider paint drying
How well lite are they at night ?
Honestly, no different at all. I was surprised.
