Kinda. This is taken from their site and explains it better than I could... The throttle response is still slow when you apply more pedal. Manufacturers limit the response of the throttle in 2 ways. First, they limit how much of the throttle body will open. For example, you can press the gas pedal 100%, but the ECM will open only 80%. Second, the program decides how fast the throttle body will open. In other words, it doesn’t really matter how fast you are flooring the gas pedal. The ECM controls the speed of the signal so your foot can not open the throttle body faster. Pedal Commander solves this problem. It will bypass a large portion of the ETC in the vehicle and is designed to take the information right from the accelerator pedal position sensor and compile it in a high-speed control circuit. It also slightly advances that number and sends it directly to the ECU. By sending the information to the computer this way, a couple of checks that the engine computer will make can be bypassed before sending the signal to open the throttle plate. This gives you the ability to eliminate the delay from your gas pedal, allowing your engine to respond faster.
I have had them all as well. Carli is nice but to get that great ride in the rear you have to give up a lot of your tow capacity. They claim the add-a-packs don't lose capacity but everyone knows you lose around half even with those. Their stuff is well made and engineered but man do they charge for it!
@@suburbanhobbyist2752 I towed at about 16000# regularly and didn’t lose anywhere near half capacity. I towed that trailer with the F250 with add a packs and with the F350 with Deavers.

Carli is the only suspension system you should ever consider for these trucks. The BDS is cheap, and they ride rougher then stock. Not to mention the push for the Coil Over conversion, which you lose 3 inches of up travel with a 5 inch BDS lift because of the coil mount on the axle and the shock.

Maybe, although the overwhelming majority of issues on newer diesels are due to the EPA components. Prior to that most diesels went hundreds of thousands of miles without issue. Removing these components has proven very reliable for those who have dared.

Love your truck bro! With the -24 offset did you have to trim behind the front wheels at all? Very curious because they look like they may need it given how much they stick out of the wells.
yeah, i mentioned it in the video. it was literally just an inch off the bottom corner of the bumper assembly. Super minor. They actually make bumper extension kits that push the bumper out like two inches and then you don't need to trim anything. I think it's more work installing that though, versus just trimming an inch.

01:56 Just curious if you've put significant mileage on those tires (like 30,000 or more) and if your opinion on the road noise has changed? I've been through a ton of tires through the years and used to think like you....it's a truck and should make some noise. However, after my last set of Nitto Trail Grapplers (I've ran them twice with the same result) I decided I would never again run tires that might get loud. Those Nittos were great up until around 30,000 miles and then, both times, they got so loud you had to raise your voice a lot in the cab to have a conversation. Nope, not worth it to me. I'm going back to BFG ATs. They are the only ATs that are quiet and stay quiet that I've found.

I wanna get the pedal commander. Can it be used on stock setup? I just want better throttle response...
Yes
Very cool Brother, Awesome Truck, I need that Truck to pull my LS190 New Holland skidsteer, it ways 8600 hundred pounds, without Deasil fuel . I loved everything you have done, I love the White Color, with your tires sticking out, are you going to put Tier Shrouds around to save your paint, I hate the looks, but the paint might get chips, maybe some Rhino lining just painted behind your huge tires, I would hate to hurt anything on that Beautiful Manly Truck. Very cool Brother. Sincerely your freind from Mo Rick and God bless you and your family and are Great Country
I’m debating it. Might do that 3M paint protectant. Definitely don’t wanna do mud flaps or those fender flares. I’m with you. Don’t like the looks of them.
Go with the carli lift.
Just ordered the Carli Backcountry 4.5” kit.
Man this looks like a warranty nightmare
Maybe, although the overwhelming majority of issues on newer diesels are due to the EPA components. Prior to that most diesels went hundreds of thousands of miles without issue. Removing these components has proven very reliable for those who have dared.
Oh ok. Thanks...regardless of the warranty your truck is still sick tho
Sorry if I missed this but is the truck leveled ? I know you said you were going to lift it but is that stock height ? I just bought my first diesel truck yesterday 2018 6.7 lariat ultimate..
16 mpgs before “muffler delete”? Wow. I have a 2021 f-50 on stock tires and stance and only getting 13.5 mpgs
Hey Harleywood!! Are those the black and grey two tone leather upholstery from Katskinz?? I have those same exact ones in my 2020 XLT Sport Leadfoot Grey truck!!
No sir. These are the Platinum seats.
@@HarleyWood23 cool, they look like the katskinz inhad installed in my F-150 XLT. They look awesome.
@@HarleyWood23 I forget you got the big bucks 😂😉
U can swap out the headlights next
I guess I’m an outlaw, my exhaust is getting the snip.
Where's the link for your gray man? The link just goes to their site. I was looking for your review and what bags you put on there. Thank you

@@HarleyWood23 awesome, thanks. They look great. Perfect offset imo
Thanks man.
what do you mean by delet the desiel
Removing all the diesel emissions components
What offset are those wheels
-24
Why are these not as deep dish as what on the website. Are these the heavy duty 305s? The 605 look much deeper on the website than yours in the video
watching this right now taking an ad break i guess, hope you put her on a weight loss program
The absolute best thing you can do first is get rid of that cp4 pump and replace it with a dcr pump.
Looked at a 2018 f350 super duty lariet today.
What is the offset of the wheels?.
All details in description. Mine are -24
