After modifications, that might be the best looking Ford Dually I have ever fucking seen. Would look good lifted or dropped - just beautiful. Great craftsmanship on the paint.

Couple things. Good video first. You may know this trick for emblems, heavy fishing line. Removes the risk of a pry marks in the body, especially on the aluminum body’s. I’ve always done my prep(30 year body guy) wet, wether its sand paper or scotch brite pads with palmolive dish soap in the water. Works like a charm, never have fish eye issue’s. From your comments at the end, where are you having rubbing issue’s? Have a 22 450 platinum I just got and am getting ready to do similar mods.
Yes fishing line is definitely the best way I just didn’t have any. Thanks for all the tips still learning everyday. The rub is on the sway bar it’s not horrible but it can cause issues if your towing a load and need to park in a tight spot.

Hello Matthew . There’s alot of good products you could use.. I recommend going into you local Autobody supply store they should carry Dupont,ppg,R&M,Ect.. For matte black i would recommend spraying a flat/eggshell clear over top the parts to protect them from chipping..
Ok question i do car wraps and we call this a chrome delete same shit but with black vinyl but certain grills and emblems is better paint cuz of time but i stopped painting because everytime i do it i let it dry and literLly can take my finger nail and the paint will pic right off back to chrome or in time from cleaning chrome starts to show again i even tried using sandpaper to scuff them sprayed them with primer and than black and than clean and it still pics off easy is there a solution to fix that issue so the paint actually sticks and wont come off or pick off easy with water or fingernail? Thanks in advance....
What's up Eric.. That's a common issue have you tried using an adhesion promoter? I used Bulldog by Klean-Strip it's in a spray can and works great .. Also if possible try to use sealer instead of primer.. Sometimes the primer will not stick .. I think the adhesion promoter will solve your issue any autobody supply store sells it.
Hello Dan . There’s a screw on the inside on the door that holds the molding on. remove the small screw attached to the molding on the inside . . from there roll down the window slide your finders inside the window frame then pry up on the molding .. It should release . Hope this helps

I don't generally like blacking out vehicles, but you did it right. Especially by leaving some transparency in the tail lights.

@@elevationdentco I wonder if 35" would have retained the F450's turning benefit. Even with 37's, are you still able to turn tighter than an F350?

Does paint stick to chrome? I had issues when I got my chrome badging painted black. Started peeling after 6months.
Yes Sir.. I've painted a lot of chrome with no issues . Make sure you Scuff the parts really good prior to painting if not it will definitely peel.
