    Smoothest 118 club head speed I’ve ever seen

    Good stuff. I’m a quick tempo/transition swinger with shorter backswing. My driver speed 105 on the course 108 at best. Fitted to project LZ 6.5 in my irons for reference. Where would you start me in the Ventus lineup?

      A quicker tempo will typically benefit from a stiffer handle section to provide a more consistent feel and feedback. Depending on the launch you are looking for, I would test the TR Red and the TR Black. If the TR Black feels too stiff, the new 2024 VENTUS Black should be a good compromise between the 2 mentioned TR models.

    So I hit down on the ball with my driver by about 2 degrees and struggle with launch, peak height averaging 70ft with 115 club head. Any shaft that can help me hit the ball higher

      Or have a more consistent launch?

      Decent angle is most important, therefore loft should be looked at first, then shaft second.

    I have played the 6x black tr and love it. Would you say there is any benefit to considering the new + technology?

    • @Truespecgolf
      @Truespecgolf  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BenMaslanka-v3f The new release Ventus is a re-release of the original profiles, but with new materials. The new Ventus Black is going to play softer than the TR that you are currently using.

      I actually find TR Black smoother than OG Black. Do you know if they are going to refresh TR line too?

    Any news about a updated matoreX? I prefer a softish shaft. 105-110 club head speed.

      The F1/F3 are still the current shafts.

    How does these clubs react to 100mph swing speed?

    • @Truespecgolf
      @Truespecgolf  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on the player. The golf shaft is a timing mechanism, it depends on how the player loads the shaft and delivers it through impact. The Ventus is a lower launch shaft, with the red being the highest launching part in the shaft family and the black being the lowest. Speed is only one variable of the many to consider when selecting a shaft.

    Hi guys so i do like the old Blue TR .. would the new stock blue be fine?.. also i like a legit 60gram shaft i think the blue 60 is closer to 70 and the 50 is closer to 60 or ?? .. so i wouldn't mind a 50gram if it is indeed closer to 60 .. also ive played X flex forever but now 56 an half im getting around 270 carry .. would it be safe to say an S flex would work ? .. im thinking Blue 50 S
    Im just going on what i know with my swing without a full fitting
    Thanks for any advice

      The TR blue is going to play stiffer than the new 24 blue, specifically in the handle section. The new blue, red, and black will play softer than the corresponding color in the TR line. The new Ventus family is a redesign of the original structures, just with newer and tighter materials to improve consistency in dispersion and ball speed.
      A 50X could be a good compromise for the new 24 blue.

    Is the 2024 ventus red a similar profile to the 2018 one?

    • @Truespecgolf
      @Truespecgolf  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They do have similar profiles, however, the mid-section in the 2024 isn't as stiff as the TR and overall has a better feel and stability.

    A friend of mine is looking at a 5x Ventus (not sure what color). He probably can't break 80 mph swing speed. Is 5x appropriate for him? Thank you!

      at least 100,just give up,shaft is not everything cheers🎉

      @im_pharaoh 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He's likely not going to be able to properly load the shaft at his SS and will end up leaving things right

    • @ScottDreyfus
      @ScottDreyfus 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, he’s only 30 mph swing speed from bending it.

    • @ScottDreyfus
      @ScottDreyfus 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Black has more lead deflection to launch higher . He’s over powering red and black it causing low strikes and spinning up. Tr blue ftw. Best of both worlds.

      Hello, we recommend putting your friend into a 5 Regular Ventus, based on his swing speed.

    What's the point of calling them "parts" instead of "shafts"? Where's the confusion with "shafts"?
