Fujikura 2024 Ventus Blue Shaft Review! VeloCore+ Technology

- Testing out the new Fujikura Ventus Blue for 2024. Fujikura updated their VeloCore technology with new materials and design to bring us a more stable VeloCore+ bias core. The shaft retains the original Ventus Blue profile and is still mid launch and low spin.
I absolutely love my new 5R2
I now have about 9 rounds on this new shaft (and I have a heavier VC+ in my fairway wood). ZERO difference, no changes that are humanly perceptible in any way. Not tighter, not stiffer, not faster, just a different paint job (I prefer the older navy blue). I didn't see any difference on launch monitor either. Played this 2024 Ventus VC+ since it came out, and I'm coming from the previous Ventus VC Blue. But if you are a gear obsessive person and the manufacturer tells you there are changes and improvements, you'll think you sense those attributes.
Have the Triple Diamond Max with the Denali Blue Stiff, just bought the Ventus Velocore Plus 6S. Comparable? Any idea what I should expect? Denali Blue vs Velocore + Blue

For me the Ventus Blue launches and spins just a little less than Denali Blue.
It's so weird to read all the flex police comments all over the internet. I wish I could play a 50R or 50S with my 102mph swing. My 50S GD BB goes crazy left. My 60S Hzrdus 6.0 goes crazy left. The only shaft that doesn't go crazy left is my Ventus Black 5X. It is what is it. My driver swing weight is E5. Where are the swing weight police? Lol.
Yeah, it all comes down to what works with your swing and feel you like. Like Rocco Mediate still plays Rifle 7.0 iron shafts because that is the feel he likes!
I use 6S just fine with my 106-110mph swing. Nothing is wrong as long as it works for you.
What do play off ??? And whats your driver swing speed if you don’t mind me asking as i want this shaft as well
@golfwrxradio how does this compare to your gamer AD VF feel and performance-wise? Profile seems similar on paper, but Ventus maybe has a slightly softer handle?
The VF is overall more stiff and has stouter feel to it. Also launches lower and spins a good amount less than the new Ventus Blue
So this shaft doesn’t hook as bad? I still use the original Diamana blue and none of these fujikura can come close. I tried one once in regular flex. Worst shaft I’ve ever hit. After 4 versions has this shaft caught up with Mitsubishi yet?
Different swings will work better with different shafts, so their is no "best" shaft until you try them and see what fits. Glad that you found one that works with your swing, the old Diamana's were great shafts. I still have a Blueboard 93x in my collection.
Bold statement. Don’t get me wrong I love the original Diamana Blueboard but the original Ventus Blue was a very easy transition that surprised the hell out of me. Call it more stable or whatever but the Ventus Blue seemed to help with those overswings that would send drives slicing off the planet but that’s just my findings

Hard to believe there’s people out there that think the Ventus is a bad shaft…the hook is definitely his swing not the shaft lol
