I think as many things as possible should come unassembled. It teaches fine motor skills, reading comprehension, mechanical aptitude, and encourages people to repair rather than replace.
Could you measure the plunger travel distance until the O-Ring reaches the air hole in the plunger? Maybe just need to rotate the tube until the hole is visible. Trying to find the volume of the plunger from the point where it might first realistically have an air seal. Thanks!
Probably not, the rod is connected to the part where the rear orings are, not to the pusher itself like old Longshots were. There is apparently a metal internals kit though if it worries you.
It's possible, although an easy piece to upgrade. However, I've run my Baize in several 300 FPS events and you don't actually need a super heavy spring to reach 300 FPS with the larger volume. I was hitting 300 FPS with the same strength of spring the Worker Harrier needed to hit mid 200s.
My O-rings did not create a perfect air seal at all on my Baize, any clue which diameter the ones you got were? I had to teflon tape the heck out of it to get anything near a seal
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Odd, i guess they gave different O-rings for the metal internals? Because my metal pusher O-Ring seal was perfect out of the box and my metal plunger and piston O-Rings needed 1-2 wraps of teflon each. I also had trouble with the bolt stop needing to be sanded to fit smoothly into the shell, and still had issues with it basically not working so next time I go to throw a new spring in there i'll probably remove it too. Looking forward to the upgrade video a ton!
I had similar problems with my Baize sample, however I just cleaned it, and used new o-rings (same size as original), and the seal went back to perfect.
noticed this version is not the "most of the internals are made out of CNC Aluminum" blaster. I must add, internals are VERY simple to recreate with even stronger materials... shell also seems easy to CNC, given someone goes full baller.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Crazy! At 450 fps it's basically an airgun. Do you know how large the plunger volume is? I spent quite some money on my worker swift, but could not get past 360 fps..

Tell that to Apple 😬
I agree but it should be a option

With heavier springs to reach 300fps, do you think the bolt being plastic is going to be a problem?

Are these more durable than a Worker Harrier?
What spring to buy to achieve 300 fps?
Buy a generic 1.8 x 17 x 300mm

Just the standard ones. The only air leak was the pusher.

@@godeatsbagels possible that the metal and plastic internals are just different overall. I don't have the metal internals but interesting to hear.

can you shoot 400 fps with this blaster?
Someone has already shot 450fps

Yes you can order dart blasters from international sources, however you do risk them being seized at import if they look too realistic.

THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great vid
this looks flimsy as compared to harrier. everything is in plastic and I used to have a s200 fire rat plunger end cracking on the first day.
It's pretty thick plastic. I would have preferred metal internals though especially the pusher as it would allow a larger inner diameter for air flow.
