    I'm often asked to provide a skincare update, so here is my current nighttime routine. Viewers of any of my prior skincare routine videos will notice that it's essentially the same; that is by design. I am consistent with my skincare in the same way that I'm consistent with other healthy habits. I focus on simplicity because I have found over the years that less is more when it comes to getting the results I desire. At the end of the day (literally), I want a simple yet efficacious routine that I will adhere to for the rest of my life. Hopefully, demonstrating this has been helpful in some way despite my basic routine having remained the same for 20+ yrs. Perhaps knowing this about me and being able to see the outcome of my consistency is of value in and of itself. xx

      @JenniferMyers ma'am, i have tried applying cold pressed caster oil on my eyelashes. but, everytime I apply, I get severe burning sensation in my eyes n get teary eyes until I wash it off. So, is it natural to happen so or is it happening to me only? It would mean a lot to me if u reply.

      @@ShivaniSingh-jp8rwIt sting my eyes too and that’s why I stop using it many years ago, I started again after watching her videos and it sting less now or if it does, I just close my eyes and go to sleep, it stings only if I have them open. That doesn’t happen to me if I put coconut oil, Idk why it’s with castor oil, 😢. But I’ll keep using it because my lashes are a bit longer after exactly 3 months of use.

    Honestly she is the living proof that you don't need an expensive skincare products and routine to achieve a beautiful and healthy looking skin. Generally speaking, it's mostly having a solid skincare ritual while using the right products. She inspires me that it's possible to age gracefully while looking as the best version of your age without turning into a haggard

    What mineral sunscreen do you use? It looks so natural. Most mineral sunscreens dont. Also what do you use to keep your teeth looking so white? My teeth are looking dull since adding blueberries to my diet everyday. I even brush right after I eat them but that's not helping enough.

      @mizbarehana5498 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've used both over the years and my vote definitely goes to the cleansing oil. The oil / balm moisturises while also effectively cleansing. Whereas the miscellar water, although gentle, still strips some of the natural oils off your skin. Found my skin to be bouncier and healthier with the former after a wash. Just imo though, to each their own.

    Hi Jennifer, I have a question for you, if you don't mind. I have been using Retin A (Tazarotene) for 5 or 6 years and have the worst dry eyes. Wearing contacts is even a struggle. I have never put the cream directly on my eyelids, but I guess it migrates through the night. I have recently learned that there might be a connection between Retin A and dry eyes. Have you experienced this?

    • @derekward3512
      @derekward3512 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      i hate to be that guy but tazarotene is technically not retin-a lol retin-a is a brand name for tretinoin which is also a retinoid but a separate and earlier one than tazarotene, tazarotene usually goes by brand names tazorac or avage

    • @sunnyday423
      @sunnyday423 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @derekward3512 Thank you, I appreciate the clarification. I'm no expert, but I thought the two products were close to the same thing. Maybe I'm wrong in that. I was using Tazorac, but quit because of the possible connection to dry eye. I was just wondering if Jennifer had any of the same issues with her eyes while using tretinoin. Or if anyone else has noticed changes in their eyes...

      @@solfuela1393 that's your skin reacting to it. Never use anything that causes your skin to flush or burn. It doesn't bother my skin but Bioderma did, so definitely listen to your skin. No micellar water damages skin barrier! If you react, it's your skin's own sensitivity.

    Hi Jennifer
    Why do you switch between tretinoin and Adapalene?

    Thank you for your videos. I have tried out tretinoin. But my question is, because I love the sun, I don't use any creams or sunblockers. The only mosturizer I use is sheabutter. So is it possible, (because during the winter I work a lot and I am not outside a lot) to use tretinoin, only for a season in a year? So that the skin will be renewed once in a while?

    Beautiful and simple. As we get older we need to use less products 😊
