i personally don’t like the how they’ve been doing the casual customization upgrades like with the Anubis Reaper and Widow mythic. I think they started doing that as an incentive to get people to want to use all there prisms for the whole skins rather than just using 50 for the base. It seems like just another Blizzard money hungry tactic🙄

I remember getting the mythic skin for Hanzo (only got it cause Hanzo is my most played character) and I was pretty disappointed that there were limited customizations. Hell they couldn't even give him different hair customizations either. The design is pretty cool (even though it's really busy gameplay wise with the bow) and I also love the voicelines that come with it, but it definitely could've been so much more.
In all fairness, Widowmaker is a white, French woman turned purple. So it makes sense for her character in the Spellbinder skin to be made that way (ie. look at her Talon, Huntress, and Comtesse skins).
Something I don’t think you touched on was how some mythics skins change highlight intros. Moira and mercy change most of their highlight intros compared to the earlier ones. Also the gilded aspects make sense are understandable additions, though I definitely don’t agree with them being 20 credits.

True I still remember i couldn't sleep the entire night, I think it was back when I saw the leaked image of TH-cam video thumbnail for S4 trailer, no other mythic gave me that level of hype! Also I do main Sigma so there's that lol
The thing with Reaper and Tracer's mythics is that they were both based on one crucial concept that unfortunately for them can be skipped entirely: upgrading. The tracer mythic got released back when all mythics were strictly part of thr battlepass they came out with, and Tracer (iirc) was the first one that didn't only unlock at tier 80, but rather had different pieces you could collect throughout the battlepass. Reaper kind of sorta had the same concept, except with mythic prisms added to the battlepass. You are supposed to want the skin when it came out, and you're supposed to be so eager to get it, that the moment you have 50 prims from the battlepass you immediately equip it even though the skin is not yet complete. And then as you progress in the battlepass it becomes this exciting journey to get to the very and and slowly upgrade your Reaper mythic until it becomes the ultimate variant. (Fortnite kind of has this concept interpreted into every battlepass, where usually the tier 100 skin is an additional style to another skin that you could obtain earlier.) So with that said, what makes the Tracer and Reaper mythics (as well as Widow mythic now) so unique is also it's greatest weakness. If you already own 80 mythic prisms from previous battlepasses or if you just buy them from the shop, you can immediately get the full mythic skin without experiencing zhe slow collectiok pf the variants, therefore obviously, once you have the most upgraded version you're not going to randomly go back to their first, incomplete form. Overall I really dig this concept of progression, but I have to agree that what makes mythic skins so unique and genuinely peak is when they have a ton of active customizations that seem equally cool, yet aestethically different from one another. I'm keen to see where Blizzard takes these mythics in the future
The Anubis mythic has a really good level 4 option but mythics should be something you can choose and switch back and forth. I can see myself swapping sigma armor around here and there but reaper mythic is more of a progression thing and not a choose what you like. It’s like choosing from 4 different jackets or 1 jacket that has a bunch of add ons to look cooler.
i like onryo hanzo when im looking at and using it but in theory its pretty garbage, i think the model is genuinely the best skin model in the game and the first bow is the best weapon model, i also have this little headcanon sort of like the sigma one where hanzo becomes like that because instead of him fatally wounding genji and winning that fight, genji was the one who won and he actually ended up dying and then became the onryo and this sounds cool but then u think about the fact that he doens't even look like an actual onryo but its still cool, i love the effects of the weapon, the sounds of the bow shooting are therapeutic and just all the things to do with his weapon, abilities etc look incredible, especially that ultimate and he has one of the best mythic highlight intro's in the game however i wouldn't put it any higher then A tier and the only reason it makes it that far is bcuz of my extreme bias towards archers in general and my headcanon
I would’ve liked the widow mythic a bit more if you could pick her skin color from white and purple, to kinda show how the more dark magic she learns the more it corrupts her
IMO, the gilded aspects should be an unlockable feature by playing the character with the skin on, so like if you play 20 hours with this skin, you get the gilded aspect or like you earn 100k progress xp with this skin and you get it. That way it would make you play more, and would open up possibilites for even more color variants; silver, amethyst, jade - there's just so much more you can do that way, but if we are ever going to see more "aspects" of mythic skins they'll probably be bought by mythic prisms.
great vid dude, ngl I wouldn't change a thing on the tier list if I'm being honest, only that I like Reins mythic weapon more than Anas but that's just preference. Also speaking of "Blizzard wanting to make more money" and "Mythic weapons", 80 prisms for a WEAPON SKIN is just madness, if each tier was 10 prisms making the total 40 prisms I wouldn't mind as much, but 80???, ell nah
I genuinely thought Spellbinder widow was a kiri or dva skin Im so mad they didnt keep her purple, coulda made her like a warlock or a demon sorceress idk just SOOOOMETHIN
Very much agree. Personally hate this skin because it doesn’t feel like a widowmaker skin at all. When a skin gets easily mistaken as a completely different character by many people it just doesn’t feel like it fits the character at all. During the trailer, I mistook it for a Kiri skin, a mercy skin and I’ve seen others think it looks like Ashe. I’ve not seen people look at it and immediately think “oh that’s widowmaker”
@@esperiandawn155FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT! And this is kind of an issue with a lot of the new legendary skins as well for these characters, and even Juno as a character. I legit thought for a second that she was a new event skin for Dva/Tracer/Kiriko etc
18:45 I'm not a fan of "progress" mythics. I feel like most people will like the complete look better, so it essentially gives you only 1 option of customization because the others feel less complete and detailed by comparison. While I enjoy the process of gaining these types of mythic, it feels lazy choice and design-wise.
I completely understand the A-7000 placement but for me it's at least A tier because hearing "You're powered up DESTROY THEM" is just so incredibly baller.
Some info about the Ashe skin you might or might not know about; - its based on a power rangers villain duo together with Bob. 90s kids definitely had a nostalgia trip when the skin was revealed. - Bob actually slightly changes when you change colour schemes, most notably the face on the stomach changes expression depending on the colour picked.
I will admit i didn’t agree with some of the rankings, but I’m also not in denial here, I am biased as hell, and would have probably been so biased if I ranked them, so good job to you for making a genuine video
I guess my problem with widow mythic is that she doesn't look like widow it really looks like something more like a skin for kiriko or ashe or hell even illari. Save few exceptions (cof cof ana) the mythics have a theme that speaks with the character being it their symbolism personality or something from their nationallity and I really don't see widow really as a cute witch alchemist of sorts like the design sugests.
The gilded mythic variants could have been great... If they were included or maybe as a reward for completing unique challenges. Like, as Anubis Reaper, kill every hero once in QP or Ranked, or as Sigma, win an Overtime by using your ultimate, playing a bit with the theme of the battlepass
One thing that I like is that the colour variations for Ashe actually changes bobs appearance. Like his face changes based of the colours and stuff Also it’s such a shame that arguably the best mythic skin (reaper) has no gun variant. I’m so salty that the devs are going the route of mythic weapons instead of focusing on the mythic skins
For kiri, when you say you can’t change her outfit at all you’d actually be wrong! Each color variation comes with its own unique pattern on her clothing :)
I'd say the hanzo mythic ranking is completally fair but personally i'd put it one tier higher just because the design itself goes so hard. I bought this skin just because the design for it looks so sick. Other than that, don't think i've agreed with a video more than this one. Not a single bad take here
It’s very interesting what different people value in a mythic. I don’t care about customization as much cuz I never change them anyways but I value colors a lot more. I think the designs themselves are what make a mythic a mythic and customization is just something kinda nice on the side.
Honestly amazing editing, if there was one thing I could nitpick about this is that I (think) that some of the art shown in the Amaterasu and the red variant of Cyber Genji is ai art, but I would love to be corrected if it’s not.
@ no it’s fine! It’s cool seeing that you care about the viewers input, too many creators ignore or reply poorly to constructive criticism, so it’s cool to see such a small thing be noted and respected.
The character leveling up throughout the mythic levels actually started from Tracer's mythic, albeit for that skin it was moreso a philosophy of RPGs itself (where an adventurer evolves into a legendary hero). It was kinda acceptable for Tracer, but Reaper's and Widow's is just the same design with more details at higher levels (probably just a corporate way to incentivise unlocking the highest level), and for me this totally defeats the purpose of having mythics be customizable
3:03 if only we had a character that used lightning as their main damage type... hmmmm.. maybe a certain lightning cannon? no but for real the reason JQ fits Zeus slightly more than Winston is that she literally hurls thunderbolts and is a queen, just like Zeus is a king
Problem with the reaper one, anubis isn't typically portrayed as "creepy" like the grim reaper is. For ram it'd make more sense cause he wants to guide his people to freedom and the staff could've been the Egyptian cane thing
In terms of the gilded aspects, I feel like it would've been cool if they were unlocked via a challenge. For example with the Tracer skin it could be: "Earn 10,000 eliminations using the Tracer mythic skin." Or with Mercy: "Do X amount of healing using the Mercy mythic skin." Something that would actually take time to earn, so you can proudly show off the skin variation you grinded for. I know it doesn't put money in Blizz's pockets, but as a player it would be nice to feel rewarded for actually playing the game. They're better than on release at giving away free stuff, but something like this would be pretty cool
I wish mythic skins could change some aspects of the highlight intros and emotes (like that Ana beach ball emote) it would make these skins even more unique
TL:DR : Talking about my opinion for the Ana's mythic skin who's personnaly my favorite mythic overall + talking about the new variant colors this season at the end which I also find it dumb. I personnaly reaaaaaaally love the Ana's mythic skin. Sometimes, I just don't like the fact that, bcs it's a mythic, devs needs to add an effect on the voices, 'cause it makes the skin even worse. For example, I personnaly really like the Hanzo mythic. Of course it's bad bcs of the lake of customizations, but let's be honest that his design is clean overall. It's the special effect on his voice that I think wasen't needed, or at least not that much god dammit ! But, coming back with the Ana one, her robot voice is soooooo daaaamn cool ! Like you said, her voicelines when she kill specific heroes like her daughter Pharah or his friend Soldier are so sad and scary. I love her glitchy voice. And her "You're power'd up ! DESTROY THEM !" Holy crap, u better get that team kill Genji when she told u like that ! xD And it's prob bcs the season 6 was really great (Mission/PvE gamemode adding lore who's the main reason I've got interested about this game. The new support heros Illari. The new gamemode Flash with New Junk City that I love in term of design ,but that just bcs I love the Junkers lmao) And for the customizations, I personnaly love all of them
I hate that blizzard started to give only 1 option for weapon customization. The most recent skins for Reaper and Widowmaker only have 1 option while others have 2 and Tracer has 3. The inconsistency with mythic skins is so annoying.
I agree with you on the Prisms and Aspects rant What frustrates me even more is how even dedicated players that have been grinding every battlepass are not able to get every mythic available simple because of the addition of mythic weapons. They're unapologetically doing dirty their most dedicated players and it's annoying as hell, either make mythic prisms cheaper to buy or add more to the battle pass.
I only play tank but I still really love the Orisa one for the same reasons I love the Queen one. The sound design is just really nice for the spears. The Javlin throw, spin and ult all sounds really good and I love her intro as well. The highlight intro is her landing and screeching and it just looks damn good. I do have flaws with it but I still love it. I think if they don’t add enough customization just slap on extra colors and call it a day.
Do you know that feeling when you’re watching a video that’s not in your native language, and you keep being surprised over and over again by how Greek gods are pronounced?
For the ana mythic you can change the colour scheme from red to pink using the protonopia colour blindness feature. (I know that it affects gameplay and other heroes as well, also you can use the colour blindness settings for added colours if u dont mind it affecting gameplay.
I think the prisms were such a great idea by Blizzard, and they really help out f2p people like me. You get enough currency for a battlepass every 3-4 seasons, and it was always annoying when you finally had enough for the battlepass oinly for Orisa to have a Mythic skin in there. Now I can get every mythic I actually want. Also it's very nice that there is no cap on prisms you can hold on to, and I have been saving mine up for skins down the line
And another thing about the gilded mythic styles is because there $20 each you'll have to pay $260 for all of them and thats if they don't make any more
unfortunately, adding skin color options would of likely offended several people which is probably why they did make her white-toned - to prevent major backlash.
Before the mythic shop was a thing and you bought the battlepass and u automatically got the mythic skin after u grinded orisa had 2 spear customizations although only 1 was good
honestly a huge missed opportunity by blizzard to give the sun based one to kiriko and not illari illari uses the sun as a energy source in lore and it would tie in so perfectly
in regards to the spellbinder skin, she isn't purple because she's a witch.. She didn't go through the experimentation that MADE her purple (as a result of slowing her heart rate). She's simply a Witch. This is why it was released with the halloween events. Similarly, releasing her with her purple skin, or any other color of abnormal shade (pink, green, what have you) and not offering a skin-tone customization pool could of brought backlash (along with if they HAD).. So, having her be white was probably a safe middle ground to prevent too much backlash from the community. As, her current color variations also would of looked very poor in coordination with her typical skin (purple) and most other potentials (pink, blue, green, etc). Red/green would look too christmasy which would defeat the purpose, purple really only goes well with green/blue. Personally, i think what they should of done is offered more customization options for her clothing (color wise, design wise), and her hair. Why does Every. single. widow. skin. HAVE A BraID almost?! Or a pony tail of some sort. Like, what if i just want my girl to have a bob? or what if i want her to have a bun? Like why cant i just.. alter that a little? alternatively, a weapon variant where she doesn't have her rifle (a new animation too?) where she instead has a wand or a flute (as she's shown with a flute in the trailer).. Would of been cool but i can understand blizzard isn't gonna put the extra effort in that sort of stuff. But still.. her mine doesn't have ANY differences really.. Would of been neat if instead of chucking a venom mine she put a sigil on the wall that 'cursed' individuals (aka, envenomed them). Personally, i kind of like that her skin ISNT purple since her default skin and many of her low-tier skins feature her with non-typical skintones. It feels more unique to me that her mythic features her not only with a different tone of skin but also with a different, halloween-inspired alternative to the typical Widowmaker.
tracer's mythic is definitely a personal opinion, the customizable options are all neat (except the tier two armor) but other than that it's atleast at the bottom of a tier
Ok man i wanna call you out for the hanzo mythic 😂😂 sure he limited cosmetics but his skin looks so badass The white with either bow option and the skeleton dragons is amazing 😂
I think that Mythic skins should be: Customiseable weapon Customiseable Head Customiseable Body Customiseable Unigue to Hero (eg. Tats for genji, pauldrons for sigma) Customiseable 4 colour palletes Should be 60 Prisims for 1st level, then 10 Prisims per level. Mythic weapons should be 30 Prisims for 1st level, then 10 per level. So 90 total for a max out hero skin and 60 for max oit weapon skin. Then the Battlepass should reward at least 100 Prisims. This way you can either: -Get maxed out Hero skin and have 10 in the bank -Get maxed out Weapon skin and have 40 in the bank -Get both initial hero and weapon skins and have 10 in the bank Aspects should be unlocked when max out Hero skin, but if Blizzard insists on charging they should be 10 Prisims. Still incentive for people to buy prisims to get everything if they want, but also gives people more options without buying more prisims.
Not that anyone cares but the one thing I'd have done with Widowmaker's mythic skin would be her rifle disappears or rather it would transform into magic gloves and widow holds her hands similarly to how Hanzo holds and brandishing his bow
Personally I would rate all these new leveling up ones F tier, the ones where level 4 is just objectively the better skin and there is no real reason to use any of the lower levels and all your customization comes down to which colour scheme you like most.
And even when you buy the final tier, you can’t customize the skin properly without downgrading the skin. I like Anubis Reaper, but I only prefer the first mask, but I don’t want a tail.
As a widow main, when the trailer for the season released and I saw her, I thought to myself “wow, they’re giving her another legendary BP skin?” Because I swore that widowmaker was like introducing the season and then we would see the mythic. Then it set it that widowmaker was the mythic skin, and I got more and more disappointed. Considering that she had just gotten a gorgeous Slyvanas skin, it felt like such a downgrade. ( I ended up still purchasing the mythic despite it all)
my list based mostly on how i like how it looks and stuff it adds beyond the usual skin s: the tippy top HANZO. love this skin, i've never cared for the amount of customization a mythic has, just how it looks and this skin excels with that in mind. i like the filter of his voice, his colors are mostly great, the skeletal dragons are so sick, his skeletal bow is awesome. love the skin, all of it, sue me MOIRA. love it, enough said really, just perfectly fit for my taste MERCY.love it, the only thing i don't like is the visor and the lack of new voicelines, but the mask and scouter make up for it SO SO SO much cause those are sick a: a good mythic JQ. almost s, if it just had some fancier effects or filters or something SIGMA. very good, nothing to complain about, but nothing to freak out about GENJI. terrific skin i like a lot of things about it, but nothing i love aside from the mask opening, which isn't really easily available ANA. like tracer (in b) but i actually love one of the options enough for it to get boosted up. b: an ok mythic KIRIKO. fine, i only really like one combo of the customization and outside of the customization it just feels like a slightly fancier legendary TRACER. i don't like how it looks, the first stage is too simple, the second stage i don't like the hood and third stage.... i don't actually know, it's the best of the three stages but something feels off ORISA. (i don't get the absolute hate, is it just lack off customization bs again, and the megasoma resemblance?) fine enough, i don't like the voice, but the themeing is geat and the colors all have nice little details that separate them from one another that other mythics don't usually have, she has a bunch of tattoos that light up in the dark and the vents around her body spew out stuff both changing depending on the color. REAPER. it just looks awkward to me. i don't like any head piece, aside from kind of liking the half mummified one but that's just kind of, compared to not liking the others, the colors are fineish. all in all, just... ok c: a bad mythic ASHE. i don't like how some things combine in the skin, like there's always something wrong, here and there it's fine, but i just can't find ANYTHING where i don't dislike SOMETHING...... also i don't play ashe (but that hasn't held back others, so idk.) WIDOW. i just don't like anything available, not even the grapple, or the bullet. also it looks weird in general, i think i just don't like it period. gilded aspect. these do boost up most, for an example B (aside from reaper) would get bumped up to A, the whole of A would go up to S, i just in general like black and gold, widow still stays in C though, and reaper and ashe i have yet to look at or don't remember weapons, reinhardt goes in A and ana in B, just taste, as both have stuff i like but nothing for me to freak out at. i also kind of wanted them in seperate tiers, but fyi anas is just barely from A, i'll have to see how the next few look. ..... also ps, funny how you say you wish they added more stuff to older mythics not long after bashing gilded aspects, which is them literally adding another color to every mythic. i get it, gilded aspects is not exactly what you meant when you said you wish for more to the older ones, just poking fun at something i caught.
I think I'm personally against the recent progression-style options for the mythics (Reaper, Widow). It feels lazy, almost as if they're just removing parts of the the final version of a mythic and pretending it's an entirely different and more customized change. The early stages for the option just look like legendary skins which is, clearly, not representative of how a "complete" mythic is supposed to look and we can tell because of how both of these mythics have been advertised and because of how the customization in the past mythics have been when it comes to armor changes. The only positive to this is the sfx being optional, which is why I use Reaper's 3rd set of armor rather than the 4th, but that could also just be it's own separate toggle than tied to these options.
the way that the third mythic weapon came out right after this video's release :')

If it were between being there for my child's birth or watch a new TDO video, I'd watch the vid ngl
Got your priorities straight🔥
1:33 so cute😭
i like onryo hanzo when im looking at and using it but in theory its pretty garbage, i think the model is genuinely the best skin model in the game and the first bow is the best weapon model, i also have this little headcanon sort of like the sigma one where hanzo becomes like that because instead of him fatally wounding genji and winning that fight, genji was the one who won and he actually ended up dying and then became the onryo and this sounds cool but then u think about the fact that he doens't even look like an actual onryo but its still cool, i love the effects of the weapon, the sounds of the bow shooting are therapeutic and just all the things to do with his weapon, abilities etc look incredible, especially that ultimate and he has one of the best mythic highlight intro's in the game however i wouldn't put it any higher then A tier and the only reason it makes it that far is bcuz of my extreme bias towards archers in general and my headcanon
That skin is probably why I might play hanzo a lot because before shooting your dragons there is like a clock sound
That way it would make you play more, and would open up possibilites for even more color variants; silver, amethyst, jade - there's just so much more you can do that way, but if we are ever going to see more "aspects" of mythic skins they'll probably be bought by mythic prisms.
not only are the prisms stupid but they also take up 10% of a BP that so the devs don't have to make as many unique items for the BP....
great vid dude, ngl I wouldn't change a thing on the tier list if I'm being honest, only that I like Reins mythic weapon more than Anas but that's just preference. Also speaking of "Blizzard wanting to make more money" and "Mythic weapons", 80 prisms for a WEAPON SKIN is just madness, if each tier was 10 prisms making the total 40 prisms I wouldn't mind as much, but 80???, ell nah
An addition to the mercy mythic you forgot to mention it changes some of the potg highlights.
I genuinely thought Spellbinder widow was a kiri or dva skin Im so mad they didnt keep her purple, coulda made her like a warlock or a demon sorceress idk just SOOOOMETHIN
19:23 WOO SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT
but...I really like it 😢
Very much agree.
Your editing is super clean, super professional. This is my first video of yours, but I can't wait to watch more!
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks!
Some info about the Ashe skin you might or might not know about;
- its based on a power rangers villain duo together with Bob. 90s kids definitely had a nostalgia trip when the skin was revealed.
- Bob actually slightly changes when you change colour schemes, most notably the face on the stomach changes expression depending on the colour picked.
My DPS main is Reaper, and his was the first (and currently only) mythic skin I actually got, so glad to see him in S tier :D
Got a new subscriber, love the content
Great vid!
Like his face changes based of the colours and stuff
Also it’s such a shame that arguably the best mythic skin (reaper) has no gun variant.
Not a single bad take here
That is completely fair and valid
Nah he cooked w this one
Bro didn’t even watch it🙏🏾😭
@@tdobarron1 Gut feeling what can I say
It’s very interesting what different people value in a mythic. I don’t care about customization as much cuz I never change them anyways but I value colors a lot more. I think the designs themselves are what make a mythic a mythic and customization is just something kinda nice on the side.
Honestly amazing editing, if there was one thing I could nitpick about this is that I (think) that some of the art shown in the Amaterasu and the red variant of Cyber Genji is ai art, but I would love to be corrected if it’s not.
I just pulled them off the internet without really looking into it, I’ll be sure not to include AI art in the future. Thanks for the tip!
3:03 if only we had a character that used lightning as their main damage type... hmmmm.. maybe a certain lightning cannon? no but for real the reason JQ fits Zeus slightly more than Winston is that she literally hurls thunderbolts and is a queen, just like Zeus is a king
rein would have been a better candidate than her tho
@@whitich8759i'd say the thor mythic fits reinhardt better than a zeus skin would
I know a lot of people wanted ramatra to have the spellbinder skin and I totally agree
It seems like the base skin for the Anubis Reaper looks like the Anubis AI in an omnic body
I think the Widowmaker Mythic is really cool and I love using it
11:58 shit myself, thanks👍
same
I wish mythic skins could change some aspects of the highlight intros and emotes (like that Ana beach ball emote) it would make these skins even more unique
The new gamemode Flash with New Junk City that I love in term of design ,but that just bcs I love the Junkers lmao)
And for the customizations, I personnaly love all of them
I hate that blizzard started to give only 1 option for weapon customization. The most recent skins for Reaper and Widowmaker only have 1 option while others have 2 and Tracer has 3. The inconsistency with mythic skins is so annoying.
I personally love the widow mythic skin. It reminds me of Hogwarts Legacy
I like the background music lmao i was just playing pokemon black 2 before watching this video and i thought i left my ds on 🤣
I agree with you on the Prisms and Aspects rant
What frustrates me even more is how even dedicated players that have been grinding every battlepass are not able to get every mythic available simple because of the addition of mythic weapons.
They're unapologetically doing dirty their most dedicated players and it's annoying as hell, either make mythic prisms cheaper to buy or add more to the battle pass.
The pretty crazy things is that the battle pass cost 10 € and allows you to earn 80 mythic shards, meanwhile you can buy 10 mythic shards... for 10 €
I only play tank but I still really love the Orisa one for the same reasons I love the Queen one.
I think mythic skin should have weapon inspeaction and animations
I think the prisms were such a great idea by Blizzard, and they really help out f2p people like me. You get enough currency for a battlepass every 3-4 seasons, and it was always annoying when you finally had enough for the battlepass oinly for Orisa to have a Mythic skin in there. Now I can get every mythic I actually want. Also it's very nice that there is no cap on prisms you can hold on to, and I have been saving mine up for skins down the line
I’m happy with spellbinder skin 😭💕
And another thing about the gilded mythic styles is because there $20 each you'll have to pay $260 for all of them and thats if they don't make any more
they had such a missed opportunity to give mythic widow a green skin color option for her skin based off the wicked witch of the west
unfortunately, adding skin color options would of likely offended several people which is probably why they did make her white-toned - to prevent major backlash.
You also had the galaga plug n play? My guy is goated instantly
Before the mythic shop was a thing and you bought the battlepass and u automatically got the mythic skin after u grinded orisa had 2 spear customizations although only 1 was good
honestly a huge missed opportunity by blizzard to give the sun based one to kiriko and not illari
illari uses the sun as a energy source in lore and it would tie in so perfectly
Could be wrong but wasn’t illari released AFTER that mythic came out?
@cocob0l0 oh shit you right
Mb I stopped playing for a while and thought it came out after illari lol
On Onryo hanzo, I think he was rushed out the door cause Moira was supposed to be the mythic for that season with Lillith
in regards to the spellbinder skin, she isn't purple because she's a witch..
Cool video Macro
Ok man i wanna call you out for the hanzo mythic 😂😂 sure he limited cosmetics but his skin looks so badass
The white with either bow option and the skeleton dragons is amazing 😂
I think that Mythic skins should be:
Customiseable weapon
Customiseable Head
Customiseable Body
Customiseable Unigue to Hero (eg. Tats for genji, pauldrons for sigma)
Customiseable 4 colour palletes
Should be 60 Prisims for 1st level, then 10 Prisims per level.
Mythic weapons should be 30 Prisims for 1st level, then 10 per level.
So 90 total for a max out hero skin and 60 for max oit weapon skin.
Then the Battlepass should reward at least 100 Prisims.
This way you can either:
-Get maxed out Hero skin and have 10 in the bank
-Get maxed out Weapon skin and have 40 in the bank
-Get both initial hero and weapon skins and have 10 in the bank
Aspects should be unlocked when max out Hero skin, but if Blizzard insists on charging they should be 10 Prisims.
Still incentive for people to buy prisims to get everything if they want, but also gives people more options without buying more prisims.
Wait, you mean TDO isn’t a bird with a helmet on???
I really wanted a custom sigma rock on the mythic tho. even if it's just changing the colors of the cracks between them to match the color scheme.
( I ended up still purchasing the mythic despite it all)
Crazy editing
my list based mostly on how i like how it looks and stuff it adds beyond the usual skin
s: the tippy top
HANZO. love this skin, i've never cared for the amount of customization a mythic has, just how it looks and this skin excels with that in mind. i like the filter of his voice, his colors are mostly great, the skeletal dragons are so sick, his skeletal bow is awesome. love the skin, all of it, sue me
MOIRA. love it, enough said really, just perfectly fit for my taste
MERCY.love it, the only thing i don't like is the visor and the lack of new voicelines, but the mask and scouter make up for it SO SO SO much cause those are sick
a: a good mythic
JQ. almost s, if it just had some fancier effects or filters or something
SIGMA. very good, nothing to complain about, but nothing to freak out about
GENJI. terrific skin i like a lot of things about it, but nothing i love aside from the mask opening, which isn't really easily available
ANA. like tracer (in b) but i actually love one of the options enough for it to get boosted up.
b: an ok mythic
KIRIKO. fine, i only really like one combo of the customization and outside of the customization it just feels like a slightly fancier legendary
TRACER. i don't like how it looks, the first stage is too simple, the second stage i don't like the hood and third stage.... i don't actually know, it's the best of the three stages but something feels off
ORISA.
REAPER. it just looks awkward to me. i don't like any head piece, aside from kind of liking the half mummified one but that's just kind of, compared to not liking the others, the colors are fineish. all in all, just... ok
c: a bad mythic
ASHE. i don't like how some things combine in the skin, like there's always something wrong, here and there it's fine, but i just can't find ANYTHING where i don't dislike SOMETHING...... also i don't play ashe (but that hasn't held back others, so idk.)
WIDOW. i just don't like anything available, not even the grapple, or the bullet. also it looks weird in general, i think i just don't like it period.
gilded aspect. these do boost up most, for an example B (aside from reaper) would get bumped up to A, the whole of A would go up to S, i just in general like black and gold, widow still stays in C though, and reaper and ashe i have yet to look at or don't remember
weapons, reinhardt goes in A and ana in B, just taste, as both have stuff i like but nothing for me to freak out at. i also kind of wanted them in seperate tiers, but fyi anas is just barely from A, i'll have to see how the next few look.
..... also ps, funny how you say you wish they added more stuff to older mythics not long after bashing gilded aspects, which is them literally adding another color to every mythic. i get it, gilded aspects is not exactly what you meant when you said you wish for more to the older ones, just poking fun at something i caught.
I wish all mythic skins had a different ult voice line
venture should get a badass zombie mythic
I personally think there should be at least 2 weapon variants and 3 variants for everything else.
Kiri should have gotten a biker mythic skin and changed the fox to a bike so i can finally see her on her bike
