Finally we met on the track. Yannick in his MEGA Scirocco GT24 is probably the fastest front-wheel drive car currently. Mega perfectly built, light and as you can see also decent pressure on the straights. Super different cars, but VERY SIMILAR in speed. THAT WAS FUN!!!

Endlich haben wir uns mal auf der Strecke getroffen. Yannick in seinem MEGA Scirocco GT24 ist wohl der schnellste Fronttriebler aktuell. Mega perfekt aufgebaut, leicht und wie man sieht auch ordentlich Druck auf den Geraden. Super verschiedene Autos, aber SEHR ÄHNLICH vom Speed. Hat Spass gemacht!!

Yeah would be cooler without traffic but as different both cars are .. both are great fun and really fast 👍🏼

Now imagine these custom 4WD Scirroco monsters with the 2.5 lit Audi engine...let alone the turbo VR6 3.6 ones...
Typical 2.0 tfsi, strong between 120/170 but tired after. It's could be cool to compare Sirocco and Leon 3D Cupra
Scirocco had to lift off at Flugplatz and Kesselchen due to traffic, otherwise the Thilo would not have been able to catch up that quickly.

VW_VAG Should have made a RS version of this with 2.5ltr V5 and 4WD.
When looking for a new (Used) car, i thought the R version was 4WD, but it is not.
So i bought something else...

4WD is not faster .. it’s just heavier ;) but the sound of the V5 is the best 👍🏼👍🏼

Ja das wäre MEGA .. ich liebe es SO unterschiedliche Fahrzeuge zu vergleichen .. macht mega bock die Vor- und Nachteile "herauszufinden" :-)

Stripped down .. welded cage .. complete verkline kinematics and axles, 420+ and lots of stuff from the GT24 Racecar! Such a cool Trackweapon!!!

As normal. Above 200 km/h and the VW starts to struggle. Even here.

I also had to lift at some sections so on a free lap it would have matched better. So cool to compare such different concepts
