As a motorcyclist who has around 70 laps on the ring, I was absolutely amazed. His driving is nothing short of textbook. Every dip, every tuck and every exit. Perfection.
Indeed, I guess this one was of the very rare very skilled bikers on the Ring... Driving a motorcycle so fast is significantly harder than doing the same with a decently tuned car.

Amazing how the bike pulled away on the straights so easily. And on the turns, it's always good to remind the not so well informed that the tyre contact area of a motorcycle is probably 1/50th of the car, which has a whole lot more aero helping push it down. This rider is one badass dude. And so is the dude driving that green Porshe.
Some years ago I checked the website of a track which hosted both F1 and MotoGP races. They had all the various track records and it turned out that while the MotoGP lap record was a good 20 seconds slower than F1 the MotoGP top speed was almost 50km/h faster than F1. The 20 seconds were lost in the corners but the large difference in top speed did surprise me.

You do get cars going fast on IOM, but few, just like you do get bikes going fast at Nurburgring, but few. In that region, bikes go to Spa. Any weekend it will be packed with bikes. I’ve ridden Nurburgring, it’s not pleasant.
Gotta say think I'd back off a bit more than this Porsche driver. Give bikers a bit more space, their life is at stake if you touch them. Also who do you pay to ride with you so u can show off? Is it like reverse uber?

Damn he can ride!! Getting a bike round there fast is no easy feat from what I've heard ,the rubber lines he was leaving shows how hard he was riding that thing ,was impressive to watch !
Sublime riding skills, the tyres on the car are complaining on almost every corner and the biker is still uncatchable, both driver and rider demonstrate advanced driving skills, well done to both.
At 00:41 and on, I knew this guy was going to be fast. He hits about three small dips and his bike does nothing. Usually you will see bikes wobble, bottom out, etc. He plows through them and the suspension is setup properly. I was really spooked after a few turns and saw how wet it was, but he had it handled. I also admired the car driving as no overdriving the car. No super revs, no hard brakes, no big tire slides. Very well done!!
That wasn't wet, it was the sheen off the rubber on the tracks racing lines, theres no way he would be that quick in the wet,. trust me,.ive riden the ring quite a bit,.
Good God i cannot imagine the thrill you guys must have felt in real life while it was all happening but i must say that was one of the most amazing things i have seen in my life, i was glued to the screen the whole time. It goes without saying that biker has serious skills and massive balls on him to do that. I hope you guys became good friends after that because that was one memorable experience.

Insane driving skills! This guy really knows how to ride his bike. It is impressive how he is moving on his bike on the NOS! We all know it from „normal“ race tracks… but seeing this on the Nordschleife from this perspective is rare. Well done - both of you!

It was awesome to witness a bike well ridden on the ring. I rode bikes for many years and this was a joy to watch. The driving was also impressive. The confidence from rider and the driver around each other was incredible.
Superb rider and on wet tarmac.... looks like it took him a while to build up some confidence. You could see he was braking early and giving himself plenty of recovery and not at max lean. To ride that quick takes huge courage, skill and stamina

I love bikes, proud do have been one in my younger years, I think it is absolutely fabulous to see this beautiful machine pull away so easily from the GT4 .The bike was probably stock and shop bought and the rider is something else...the stamina and core strength needed to do this is impressive to say the least, as it is with all motorcycle track-racers of course. Most of all it takes skill and courage.
Beautiful technique and fantastic placement on the track. Must have been so frustrating being held up by slower cars, but he stayed cool and focused the whole time. Respect.
That looked great fun all round! Always interesting to compare two such different beasts, but by the looks of it both are capable of a very similar BTG overall. You need that GT2RS ;)
Those Kawasaki ZX750R bikes have a great reputation for power and handling,they were the bike to have back in the early 90s.Obviously the rider has great confidence with it.

Great video, great driving. That rider has some serious skills as well! Ive never riden a sport bike, only cruisers/baggers. I cant imagine how exhausting it is to be constantly pulling the bike around like that. The adrenaline rush must be unreal!
Yes, I have seen many riders finish a race looking like they were about to have a heart attack,but after a few minutes the adrenaline subsides , and all is well again.
As an avid rider I must say…you have to be so incredibly skilled to ride like this..There is no runoff, and the cars are so close to you that one mistake is death. They would never allow cars abs bikes to run at the same time like this in the STATES. This is savage

Those Kawasaki ZX750R bikes have a great reputation for power and handling,they were the bike to have back in the early 90s.Obviously the rider has great confidence with it.

Great video, great driving. That rider has some serious skills as well! Ive never riden a sport bike, only cruisers/baggers. I cant imagine how exhausting it is to be constantly pulling the bike around like that. The adrenaline rush must be unreal!

Yeah, sports bikes are about 1/3 weight of a bagger
Yes, I have seen many riders finish a race looking like they were about to have a heart attack,but after a few minutes the adrenaline subsides , and all is well again.

As a bike rider with 44 years experience I can honestly say this guys talent is truly awesome, fast and ultra smooth.
As an avid rider I must say…you have to be so incredibly skilled to ride like this..There is no runoff, and the cars are so close to you that one mistake is death. They would never allow cars abs bikes to run at the same time like this in the STATES. This is savage
