- Whats up fam, in this video we are installing an android 10.1 radio/head unit into the scion XB. My original radio was made by pioneer and the previous owner added an amp to the mix. I show you how to wire the Android radio and how I mounted the head unit to the center console. The radio is packed with features that I have not fully utilized yet. ah it was already there and all I had to do was connect the RCA wires to the existing

My display only turns on in reverse gear. Any ideas?
Sounds like you have wire mixed up. There is usually a handbrake wire and a reverse cam wire that goes to the reverse light circuit, one of these two wires could be wired wrong, if it is a newer car and you are connected to canbus it could be a software configuration issue, contact the seller, sometimes they can give you instructions or links to patches to fix it.
Do you have any PDF MANUAL link for this head unit and possibly any insight into what accessories like a HUD or anything that can be added to this head unit. I purchased the same exact unit but the packaging did not contain any link for a manual or manual of any kind . Any insight would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Newbie question......does this have GPS?... and if so.... is it embedded within the unit or does it link to the cell's GPS that you may have in the car with you, and simply displays the cell phone's GPS?.... confused on how GPS would work on an aftermarket unit.
it has a gps dongle connected to the unit. It uses it to display car speed etc. I rately use the gps on the navigation.. i always refer to the phone for waze. It could use google maps but requires to connect to your phones hot spot for wifi

Is this a Hikity brand? I just purchased their 9 inch android unit for my 2006 xB. I’m going from the stock scion head unit to this Hikity one. Are the scion wires labeled for where I need to splice them to on the new harness? Or is there a wiring diagram for them?
my unit already had mods with an amp. if yours is stock, buy the wiring harness on amazon that would allow you to connect the spiced wires from the new unit to the harness. this way it will just plug In to your oem plug. amzn.to/3u5IU90

no I did not attempt to do wiring because I swapped my steering wheel and original didn’t have buttons
