      ***** Anyone who walks the straight path and fights the good fight gets the good karma of their actions.

    • @harijotkhalsa5546
      @harijotkhalsa5546 10 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      ***** Guru Nanak was once asked if the Hindus or Muslim way was correct. He replied "Shub amla baahjo dono roi" Without good actions both will go crying. He also explains that having a religion is like a cheap dye. When the soul leaves the body it will not care which religion it was, it will no longer have that color, it will look at life as any soul would look at life. The path of Dharma is to do the difficult thing for ones self but to be soft to others.

    • @harijotkhalsa5546
      @harijotkhalsa5546 10 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      ***** In Vaaraan Bhai Gurdas it is explained that the great teacher Patanjali was a Gurmukh. He composed teachings which were able to fulfill disciples in the Kalyug. Bhagat Dhanna ji and Kabir ji met God without having met Guru Nanak. Raja Janak, though of a previous age, is even eulogized in the Guru for his spiritual achievement and status. Indeed the Satguru is needed. What is the Satguru? Who was the Satguru for these great devotees? There is only one God therefor the effort of a devotee will be useful before 1699 and also for those who have not heard of such a thing. Indeed sir it is very important. I believe what you are bringing up ultimately is that it's difficult to sort out whether there is truly one way or there are many ways. The best I can say about it is this: The One God continues to send messengers to show people the one way to evolution and liberation. The One way has taken different forms throughout time because it is about the essence more than any observable thing on the outside. Faith and devotion to the Gurus feet are always rewarded. Truth, Satguru, liberation and Dharma are things that we cannot put in a box. They are beyond our ability to truly understand.

    • @harijotkhalsa5546
      @harijotkhalsa5546 10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      ***** When a loving father opens his arms to call his children... they don't ask too many questions, the happy child joyously runs to hug their father... they even don't care what airport security think. Kan na keejai, they don't listen to the voices of the world. That is the mark of love is that hardly anyone understands it and if the group can persuade one away from fulfilling the faintest wish of the Guru's chance preference... it's not that big of a love is it. A devotee would never ask such a thing in the presence of the Guru.
      In the end someone can wear bana and not have the Khalsa spirit and someone can not wear bana and have the Khalsa spirit. One can not be assessed with worldly eyes, but by meeting all the check marks of a supposedly good Sikh it doesn't mean anything when we die. Those who have purity in their heart and who are marked by the Guru, they will know what they want to do. Like Bhai Jagraj says, "jin prem kiyo tin hi prabh payo." And the actions that love takes may not be predictable...

    Concerned with "now and here", the Sikh way of life leads us straight to our goal--- the realization of God within us. We can find God and be united to him not after death in some unknown region but "now and here", in this very life. There will be no more delusion, no more sin. We get celestial peace, bliss and joy ever-lasting "now and here" in this very life. . . . . . Sikhism is thus a world affirming and a not world denying philosophy and religion.

    Do Sikhs believe in a heaven or a final resting place for the soul?

    • @simranmehtab3757

      Bowtoyoursensi!!238 Sikhs believe In a temporary heaven and hell but not eternal

      @gurjotsingh6604 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Simran Mehtab no heaven is permanent but hell is temporary. After getting punished for your sins we got second chance. God is like a mother who wants to teach the son. But son is doing something wrong then god punish us like like a mother do to kid.

      Yes. that is the point of Sikhism. To end the cycle of reincarnation. If we don't merge back and go back to God, in heaven, then we will keep being born again, worse, we may even go back to 8.4 million life species reincarnation and be born as dogs, cats, fish, etc. until we are human again. basically, the human form is the only form where we can pray and do good deeds and go back to God. otherwise the cycle of reincarnation will not end. That is the final resting place of the soul where we live with God in heaven. That is the point. otherwise if we don't pray and do good deeds our soul will keep getting birth on this earth,.

    Amazing sewa, keep up the good work, my only question is a general question, we see God as genderless so why do we always say 'he'

    • @Reme873
      @Reme873 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      In Sikhism God is both both mother and father to a person. Protects him when needed and loves him like a child when needed since alone a child cant be reared by single parent .Every person is also having both traits some female and some male

    Sat Sri Akal. I dont know you brother but I have seen so many videos of you preaching basics of Sikhi. I am a sikh with cut hair and am growing back on but I feel disconnected listening to your points. If you feel comfortable, I wish to discuss these with you. Give me your number or any other medium to communicate. I hope to hear from you soon.

    Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa,
    Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
    Veerji, you mentioned that we all have a limited number of breaths. Then does that mean that by exercising, we are using up our breaths faster? Realizing that the Sikh of the Guru is not afraid of death, and that things like death are predetermined. Along with the idea that the amount of time you were given, is the time that you will spend. But when you introduced this concept of having a certain number of breaths, it has confused me. By choosing to breathe faster, can I shorten my lifespan? Again, I realize that Guru's Sikhs are not afraid of death, but this whole idea has made me curious. I hope that makes sense.
    Dhan Guru Nanak.
