+Sanaz_Tehrani I agree to some extent. The thing is with Islam if a Christian, Hindu or Sikh marry a Muslim why is their no exceptance of of their own religion and why do the have to turn to Islam or not be welcomed for who they are. I also think not enough muslims are speaking out about radicalisation. Any hate preaching or teaching of superiority in a place of worship should not be tolerated. These kind of people should be expelled. I think religion can help in life as long as you are not consumed by it and except all faiths, races sexs equally. Britain is a very tolerant society and it should be reflected by people who have emigrated here but unfortunately it's not always the case. I like the values of this guy speaking here. Anyway peace out xx

That view point is so idiotic on the merits that if u were to follow your logic, you would paint christianity, Judisim with the same brush.
Though it seems like this comment is coming from a place of emotion or a personal issue u have with a Isam. And to the point be consistent, and im not saying you dont see the other 2 abrahamic religions the same way. But there scriptures are no better when it comes to violence, bigotry, homophobia, slavery.
*Edit i missed your message earlier and u hold the same positions on abrahamic religions, so im wrong on this point.
Only thing i can say is that these religions are close to the heart of many people who dont have time to read or research there own beliefs, so the best we can hope is that Tolerance, politeness prevail.

Every Sikh Temple has an open kitchen where anyone is welcome and is run by total devoted volunteers. We have seen a spike in homelessness and poverty over the years which is sad but it's our duty to feed them. So if your ever need to eat and your hungry find your local Sikh Gurdwara. We are here to serve and protect our community.

The Bible says in Isiah 64: 6 says All our good deeds are like filthy Rags.. that women should try Meditating on the word of God.. i dont go to church for peoples attention as im not worshiping people but God... doesnt matter how hypocrite the church can be.. you will always stand alone...

@samayasarjain. Isn't jain same as Hinduism? All I know is Jains don't worship idol but as a Hindu I always question why we worship idols and have found a very rational answer. And it's very profound and it has a scientific basis to support it. But again worshipping a thing is same as a use of any tool to enhance spiritual progress. I see Muslims do it very well by reciting prayers 5 times a day. A prayer with devotion whatever the word is ( but then again Sanskrit says that each letter of word in a mantra has specific idea attached to it - for e.g. भा (bhā) denotes brilliance. Also each letter that you utter has a certain physical and psychological impact on the body.
For e.g. the words लं laṃ activates the energy center around the perineum area. And on it goes with seven chakras which are spread around 6 other different energy centres. You see, a mantra isn't a casual word . When you utter it brings certain changes and hence must be pronounced correctly, thus slight change in letter or tone can either subdue the impact or worse bring about different anomaly in the body. But no doubt jain and Hinduism are both two sides of the same coin. Actually it more ideal to say Sikh, jain Hindus, buddhist are all Sanatan dharma.

    • @rkang6531
      @rkang6531 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@nc01sadh No, you couldn't be more wrong. It is Not Ideal to say that Sikhi is a part of Hinduism, you don't know anything about Sikhi, respectfully. Watch some videos on this channel you'll get a better idea.
If you actually read the SGGS or anything that our Gurus have said, you'd realise for yourself.
"Ram Rahim Quran Puraan, anek kahain mat ek na manyo
Simrat Shastra Ved Sabhai bahu bhed kahai hum ek na janyo"
Ram, Rahim, Puranas, Quran and many others recite, but I don't believe in even one. The Simritis, Shastras and Vedas describe many mysteries, but I don't recognise even one of them.
If it was a sect of Hinduism, or whatever else the Brahmins back then taught, the Gurus would've specified it.
And the line above, which is one of the most important Banis in Sikhi, wouldn't be there.
Even Baba Nanak himself went around saying,
      Na Hindu na Musalmaan.
If he were he would've said otherwise.
Sikhism has some teachings similar to Hinduism, but it also has the same with Islam and Christianity. So does that mean it is also a sect of Islam and Christianity?
Ofc not, it's something different in its entirety.
But to be honest Sikhi doesn't care what it's affiliated with, I am replying to your statement because it is untrue.
If you actually tried to understand from within what the Gurus were trying to say you would understand, and become not only a better person but a better Hindu. I am not trying to be offensive here, I am simply saying people of whichever religion can read the Bani and they will become better at it, better at their own religions, A Hindu will become a better Hindu, A Muslim will become a better Muslim and a Christian will become a better Christian.
      Sikhi helps people experience God.

    Nothing religious about it.
To be honest, Sikhi is the only religion I respect and somewhat agree with. I don't believe in too much religiosity or rituals. But what Sikhi is about? That makes sense to me.
For example, be good, help others, protect even strangers with your own life, be a force for good and carry weapons for defensive purposes, do no evil and respect everyone's rights. Feed the hungry and always serve humanity.

No. Being in a border region, Sikhs had always defended and stopped the invasions from Northwest India. Sikhism was considered a sect of Hinduism until very lately. Actually, in old days, Hindu families donated there first son to Sikh sect so that Sikhism prolifers and keep protecting India. Sikh philosophy is entirely Sanatana philosophy, the mother of all Eastern religions, Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism.
The massacre he refers to was an aberration and political killings by a political party. Nothing to do with Hindu diaspora.

I believe in reincarnation and the Entergy you give out will come back to you, which is why in my belief system it is so important to be true to yourself, respectfully and kind and mindful of what you project onto others. The big difference between my belief is that I believe in one God who is split into 2 sides, a light side the sun and a darker side the moon. A fine balance of energies and two sides to everything but all connected by one energy. Day and night with both sides having a role in keeping balance. @Singh Khalsa Dont talk non sense bro.
I know what I mean and I am not answerable to you . Ask politely and get into discussion . You talk as if you made me stand in custody and doing interrogation. Leave it.

I’m a Catholic and love learning about Sikhism. My husband is Hindu. Sikhism seems like the blend between both our religions.

I have to say I find Sikh .. Are so respectful I haven't met one who isn't & if I was to ever find myself thinking in a serious way about religion this would be my first choice!
