UNTOLD Podcast, Episode 95 ft. Lurinjyoti Gogoi, the President of Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) and former General Secretary of All Assam Students' Union (AASU), will contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
Lurinjyoti Gogoi is one of the faces of politics over regionalism in Assam, who found his way into active politics during the 2019 anti-CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act). His ideology is based on developing the Assamese sentiment and the state globally.
In this episode, we try to learn more about his ideologies, beliefs and vision. Despite losses during the previous state elections - in two constituencies - Lurin is determined to contest in the Lok Sabha Election, against former Assam Chief Minister and current Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal from Dibrugarh.
Lurin also tells about how his political career was carved out during his College/University days. He talks about students' politics through the stories of AASU, the Godfathers, how these organisations function and more.

Lurinjyoti we will all support and vote for you . Please raise these issues..
1. 1951 should be cut off for NRC and constitutional safeguards for indigenous Assamese.
2. Please don't ally with congress because here in Nagaon they are known for miya appeasement. We are minority here.
3. I don't find any reason to oppose CAA in Nagaon bcz we become minority not because of CAA same is true for Morigaon, darrang, Goalpara, Barpeta, Bongaigaon etc.
